Me, masked up at my appointment.
    Alexia A.

I have been going here since I was 16. I am now 26. Sylvia has been my doctor for a few years now. She is also the doctor for several other women in my family. We all love and trust her. I've never had issues with my prescriptions WHEN I CALLED ABOUT PHARMACY ISSUES RIGHT AWAY. The ladies at the front desk and the medication nurse are very helpful. Their scheduling and appointment times are strict. To avoid any issues with booking your appointment, plan to be there 30 minutes early. They need you to be 15 minutes early so your appointment can start on time. ie: your appt is at 3:30pm. You should be there no later than 3:15pm. If you aim to get there at 3pm you will either be early or on-time in the event of traffic. Yes, there is a fee for last minute cancelations and no-shows. They remind you every time you make an appointment. This should be no surprise to anyone. Yes, things happen & sometimes you have to cancel (ie. a car accident or other medial emergency). Perhaps they will work with you but I'm not sure since I haven't had any issues yet. During Covid: wear a mask & don't bring anyone else with you unless it's your non-adult child. This is to help keep EVERYONE safe; the staff, other patients, yourself, & your kids! Do not blame the establishment for safety precautions set in place to combat a world-wide health pandemic.

I have been seeing Dr. Torres for a couple years now and he is the most amazing doctor! He has helped me tremendously with my endometriosis and my ovarian cyst. He is always available when I need him and makes me feel valued. I recently just gave birth to my sweet boy. It was a emergency c-section and he made me feel so calm under crazy circumstances and came to the hospital right away to make sure he was the one to take care of me. He is also a outstanding surgeon! If you are having issues nobody can figure out I guarantee he will. Thanks to him I'm healthy and so is my boy

I can't comment on the medical care as I never actually got to see a doctor. My original appointment was scheduled over the phone and I specifically requested Dr. Tyre for January 8. On January 8 I was 10 minutes late due to CES traffic. So they would not see me. Ok that is their policy, so be it. The woman behind the desk said that I was not even scheduled with Dr Tyre which was upsetting as I waited for weeks for the appointment. She rescheduled me for Jan15 at 4p (see photo) and sent me away with new patient paperwork. Today (Jan 15) I arrive at 3:05p for my 4p appointment. At 3:45p I go to the desk to see what is going on. I find out my appointment was not in the calendar AND that Dr Tyre had left for the day! If the office is this disorganized I can only imagine the mistakes that happen with patient records, test results, etc. So maybe this is a blessing in disguise. I took my paperwork and left. Maybe your experience will be better.

For the amount of times I've called and nobody answers the phones are clearly on DO NOT DISTURB.

DOCTOR TORRES STILL 5 STARS an amazing doctor 1 star for his office HORRIBLE that I have to call over 10-20 times for anyone to answer. I had an appointment on 10.21.21 I ALWAYS get text to confirm. Leading up to my appointment no text so I call to confirm myself NO ANSWER for weeks. It has taken me 2 weeks of calling to get 1 answer. As I'm sitting in the office I know people are calling and not one phone is ringing. As I finally get someone to answer I let them know exactly what I have stated in this review an let her know that my prescription was never called in and had been pending since 9.24.21 she assured me it would be handled. I was scheduled for a appointment for the next day 10.28.21 9am rolls around STILL NO prescription smh I call CVS the pharmacist says "we have been trying to reach them" . I called of course 25 times ,25 TIMES no answer so I had to physically drive to my dr. At 10 am to tell them my prescription STILL wasn't called in an I should never have to do that. I had to again reschedule my appointment. God forbid I was pregnant I would literally lose it. It's so unfortunate because the doctor assistants and the doctors are absolutely AMAZING however the front of the office need WORK. To think they would see these constant reviews and change but nothing is getting done. This is a woman's health in their hands an nobody seems to care.

They didn't have me on the schedule and I missed a day of work for they can reschedule me. I don't think so

How can I get my medical records from this place if they are permanently closed now?

Hi! Is this place still open?

No. Just saw that they closed in May 2025. I've been calling for a week and surprised they don't let their patients know!

Dr. Falcone doesn't deliver babies anymore & I only need her for GYN needs as I'm not looking to get pregnant. She always arrives in the exam room with a big smile, she's super friendly, knowledgeable, gentle, caring & doesn't make you feel rushed. She's a great listener to any concerns or questions I have. One time when I arrived for my yearly exam I was super stressed after getting some bad news from my job & she actually took the time to let me confide in her on what was going on. This was so appreciated & she didn't need to do this for me, thank you because it helped to talk about the issue with the 1st human I happened to come in contact with after getting the phone call from my boss. I did have an issue with a staff member while waiting to be seen last year. She didn't normally work the front desk but she had a horrible demeanor & wasn't very professional. I did find out today that she no longer works there & that the doctor's had replaced their staff due to having too many issues with them so if you have run into any issues with them please give the doctor's another chance. I even had an issue getting a hold of my MD's MA last year & scheduling an appointment earlier this year. It does make it hard for patient's when they love their doctor but not their staff & unfortunately unprofessional, uneducated & rude staff can affect their practice. I was glad to know that something has been done about it. I love how they have their own lab in house so I don't have far to go when I want blood work done with my yearly exam. The phlebotomist has always been really nice, professional, gentle & friendly. I don't usually have to wait long to be called back & review home meds & what I'm in the office for. I do find it odd that the only vitals that the MA takes is your weight & blood pressure. No heart rate, respirations, temp. or your height. I have run into having trouble in not being able in getting an appointment for a "problem" in a timely manner which can be frustrating if it's something that needs attention & may be gone by the time you do get an appointment. I like when doctor's leave some extra time in their day to fill these requests. I'm so thankful that I have found Dr. Falcone after having my previous, young GYN retire back in 2020. 5 STARS for Dr. Falcone!! Thank you!

I see her for my annual Pap and now I am seeing her for perimenopause symptoms and hormone replacement. She is so attentive and doesn't miss a step. I had tried the hormone pellets and they were great just not sustainable realistically long term financially for me, because insurance doesn't cover it. $500 every 3 months is tough for me so I was looking for another option. She asked all the questions for me so that I did not have to know everything to say. She even had information preprinted and gave it to me so that someone my age knows what I need to be doing for myself and my health. I was given an option that would be more affordable and I left the office feeling empowered and hopeful that I will be feeling better soon. She encouraged me to follow up in 9 months. She said she would refill my prescriptions and the back office staff asked me to call to schedule my appointment for October in April when the that part of schedule will open up. The office is busy and there are multiple doctors working and seeing patients. The front office is running smoothly though. I felt like they were pleasant. They have a long lobby with several areas with chairs to sit. The nurse that brought me back, took my vitals, roomed me, and was very nice. I recommend this office and especially Dr. Falcone. She is top notch. Very professional, knowledgeable, and has an excellent bedside manner. I am grateful to have her as my doctor. I would call ahead to check if they are contracted with your insurance and make a an appointment. They are conveniently located in Henderson and they are in a medical complex with a lot of parking. I definitely recommend Dr. Falcone if you need an Gyn.

I decided to wait a smidge before leaving this review, but honestly I'm SO glad I found Dr…read more Stepanida Freeman on Yelp!!! WOW!!! Pardon my long review... I had been going to another OBGYN, but when my fertility doctor mentioned that I needed surgery to remove my endometriosis before moving on to more treatment, I went back to that OBGYN that I had been seeing for yeaaaaars and they were less than helpful. They literally wouldn't see me till end of June (I believe I called in April... wild right?!). So, I hit up Yelp to see if I could find another OBGYN that I would feel comfortable enough with. I searched and found Empowered OBGYN and Dr. Stepanida Freeman. I made the appointment and they mentioned that she wasn't available that day, but that they would have a nurse practitioner chat with me about the surgery and get it scheduled instead. No problem! They were able to book me an appointment TWO WEEKS from the day I called! Much better than nearly two months!!! I was already so impressed. A week before my appointment, I just went in to fill out some paperwork to have my fertility doctor send over all my documentation to them beforehand so I wouldn't have to repeat myself too much haha. Filled out the paperwork and they actually DID get my records from my fertility clinic. LOVED THAT! I came in for my appointment, and every single staff member was incredible and so kind. As I was waiting for the nurse practitioner to come in, the kind staff member that brought me in to the room popped her head in and said, you know what, the doctor said she has some time, so she's just going to come in and chat with you instead. HOW AMAZING IS THAT?! Dr. Freeman was so nice and she's so soft spoken and makes you feel so comfortable. I loved her demeanor and her knowledge. She explained to me the surgery and said someone would reach out to get me scheduled. She also asked if I wanted a pelvic exam since I was there and I said sure! Seriously so nice. When my surgery came, Dr. Freeman obviously performed it and came and talked with me right before hand. I had looked up photos before of what the incisions looked like for this type of surgery, and was so nervous about having these huge reminders on my stomach. Nope! The incisions were so tiny and I healed pretty quickly. I just went in for my post opp appointment and she walked me through showing photos of what she did during the surgery. Absolutely incredible what she was able to do! She removed a cyst from my ovary and kept it in tact and assured me my ovary was good to go! My husband and I were laughing after at how she was like oh yeah I did this, like it wasn't the most impressive thing either of us have heard haha. One of the things I also loved was that she even remembered the name of my fertility doctor and asked when I was seeing her next. Didn't have to look at records or anything! I appreciated that attention to detail, and truly made me feel like she really knows and cares about me as a patient. You don't find that a lot with doctors these days, and even though it seemed like a minor thing to others, it didn't go unnoticed with me and my husband. She is so caring for her patients! I am so appreciative to Dr. Freeman, and I know if (god willing) /when I am pregnant, I trust her whole heartedly for my pregnancy and delivery. I'm so happy to have found a new OBGYN whom I trust!!! As well as the rest of the staff she has here, they are ALL amazing and kind and incredibly caring! I don't ever feel rushed and it honestly feels like every one of her employees and herself are just truly happy to be there. It makes the worlds difference!

I ordered my medical records from the hospital and low and behold he did not perform a Salpingo-oophorectomy (removal of ovaries AND fallopian tubes) he only took out my OVARIES! When I confronted him about it, he said my previous doctor must have removed them. So I went to my initial doctor AND requested those records and NO, he did not remove my ovaries. Apparently fallopian tubes are super small hair like and there is no way of knowing where they are. Floating somewhere in my abdomen?! I sent Dr. Casas to the medical board and they denied my claim?! Dr Rosenbaum covered all those areas. I was seen. I was heard. I'll admit, I almost thought of gatekeeping her, but I could not do that to all the girlies out there. This review is for Dr Rosenbaum. Main Character Energy--In the Best Way Possible…read more I don't even know where to start because "thank you" feels way too small for what Dr. Rosenbaum has been to me. From the very beginning, she went so far beyond what any doctor is expected to do that it honestly felt like I had someone in my corner at all times. Not just medically--but emotionally too. I'm someone who gets really anxious with doctors and medical situations, and she saw that immediately. And instead of brushing it off or rushing through appointments like so many do, she stepped in--again and again--without ever being asked. There were moments where she absolutely didn't have to get involved, but she did anyway. She advocated for me, she reassured me, and she made me feel safe in situations where I otherwise would've been overwhelmed. The fact that she even came to the ER for me says everything about the kind of doctor--and person--she is. Who does that anymore? That's not just professionalism, that's genuine care. One thing that will always stay with me is how much attention she gave during my C-section. She took extra time on the final layer of stitching because I have a tattoo, and she wanted it to look perfect. That level of detail, patience, and respect for something that mattered to me... I've honestly never experienced anything like that in healthcare before. Most people would've just finished and moved on--but not her. She also never pressured me into decisions. When it came to delivery, she supported my choice to wait, fully respected my wishes, and made me feel like I had control over my own experience--even though things didn't end up going exactly how I planned. That kind of support is rare, and it meant everything to me. And she didn't just disappear after the surgery--she came to see me every single day. Not rushed, not distant, but present, kind, and genuinely invested in how I was doing. If I had to sum it up: she is the kind of doctor people hope to find but almost never do. She has that rare mix of skill, compassion, attention to detail, and actual heart. She made one of the most intense and vulnerable experiences of my life feel safe, supported, and human. She's not just an amazing doctor--she's the best doctor I've ever met in my life. Truly. If you're under her care, you are beyond lucky.
