One of the worst dr office experiences. My appt was at 9:30am and I wasn't seen until 10:49am and she walked out by 10:55am. Understandably, patients have questions but over an hour of waiting to be seen and I'm only seen for 6 minutes? I couldn't get more than one question out & her response was "if we don't find anything, great & we'll put you on medicine" but if you don't find anything, why am I in this pain and what would you be putting me on medicine for ..? I have been with dr. Langdon for over seven years. I have followed her to all her locations. She is absolutely wonderful. She comes in with a smiley disposition and enthusiastic voice. She has been there for me through difficult appointments as well as joyous ones. I was recently pregnant and she took lots of precautions and did lots of tests to help me ease my mind and make sure baby was good. I was induced and The day I gave birth she would called the hospital round the clock to check on my status and how I was doing. She was not on call at the hospital that week but came in at 1 am to deliver my baby. It was wonderful to have her deliver my baby considering the dr patient bond that grew over numerous years and countless visits. She makes coming to the drs office pleasant and can't wait for her to deliver the rest of my children. Absolutely recommend!!! read more

I had a friend warn me about Dr. Langdon and I didn't listen. I should have. I had two appointments with her, my 8 week & 13 week prenatal appointments. She is a one woman show. No ultrasound tech & no nurses. I felt made fun of when I told her I am afraid of needles. Essentially I was told to suck it up. If I could I would, trust me!! The 8 week appt was fine. I was just excited to see an ultra sound. She was quick and didn't really explain much. She kind of answered my questions, but not fully. I was asking if there was specific medications I shouldn't take and she just said very general answers like 'no NSAIDS' and 'why would you need to take that medicine?' when I asked about DayQuil. I have high BP at doctors offices because of the needles present. I came with a log of my BP for the prior two weeks (it was normal may I add) and she glanced at my log for two seconds and then told me to cut salt 100% for my entire pregnancy. What? Lady are you crazy? The biggest issue with her was at my 13 week appt I asked to hear the heartbeat and she said "you can't hear it at this point." WHAT THE HELL? Are you kidding me? I got one US photo from that appt. I was very upset after that appointment. I called a friend who is a nurse in California at a fertility clinic. When I saw her two days later, she let me hear the heartbeat and told me that heartbeats can he heard at EIGHT WEEKS. Dr. Langdon WITHHELD MY CHILD's HEART BEAT FROM ME AND MY HUSBAND. That was infuriating. After walking out of the 13 week appointment I called a different OB down the street and immediately transferred my care to them. The only good thing to come from Dr. Langdon's office was finding out the gender through a blood test at 12 weeks. Although the Labs were picked up late so I didn't get my results back on time. She see's me annually and has delivered my son as well. I love her quality of care, the level of comfort I have when discussing my health needs. She definitely takes her time. She also has the best staff! Carol is the nicest at the front desk. Her office staff is consistent and knowledgeable which is important when dealing with your health and wellness. DO NOT GO TO HER!!!! I would give her negative stars if I could! HORRIBLE DOCTOR!! She is a 5 minute doctor, does not take her time with you! 1st Experience: It took me 3-4 weeks to see her even if I was pregnant. I went in on my appointment time, then the front desk said, oh she had to go into surgery. You will have to reschedule. Why didn't you call me? They said they were just about to call me. I was already there, at the office. What a waste of time! Then, they said their next appointment is not until 3-4 weeks out!! 2nd Experience: I finally got to meet her. I waited 20 minutes in the waiting room and then another 30 minutes in the exam room. She was so quick to leave. I don't think she talked to me for more than 5 minutes. It was our first time talking!! It's like she was rushed to get out of there. I didn't even get to ask her all the questions I had for her, she was that quick to leave!! Since then, I didn't want to come back to her. I wanted to switch to a perinatal doctor and she blocked it. SHE WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO SEE A HIGH RISK DOCTOR for my care, EVEN IF I WANTED TO! Then showed up at the address listed here, because no one told me they moved..... its outdated which of course made me late but they would not accommodate...mind you i was 5 mins away and it was exactly appt time when I called from the wrong office. I was disappointed when my previous OBGYN was forced to retire due to her health, but I was very happy with Dr. Langdon and her kind staff. Everyone was friendly and personable. I'm still new, and my health is unremarkable, so I don't know if expectant mothers or those with more complicated health issues want to make a decision off of my experience, but I'm quite happy so far! The ONLY thing I would criticize is that I hate when doctor offices advertise cosmetic procedures. I totally get that it brings in money, but I just feel that it cheapens the practice. They seem very unprofessional. I made an appointment for my daughter through Zoc Doc and 10 minutes later their office cancelled my appointment. They didn't call, nor email me with the reason. Zoc Doc was so embarrassed, THEY apologized and gave me an Amazon gift card and said they're baffled that an office would do that and not even contact me to explain or reschedule. Elena is a seemingly nice woman, her office staff are kind and helpful. However, the reason for the one star is for two reasons. One - every appointment you have to wait at least an hour to be seen. As you get bigger in pregnancy and more uncomfortable you don't want to be sitting in uncomfortable seat and the office is usually filled with people and sometimes kids also. You only see the dr anyway for few short minutes, there's no reason everything takes so long. Also compared to my other friends she did the least ultrasounds. They dont even do one to check where the baby is positioned when you're later in pregnancy or in my case past due. Now most importantly the main reason i don't recommend any woman go here is that dr langdon wasn't on time for my birth. It was more important for her to finish her patients in the office than to be there to deliver my baby. The nurses called her and let her know i was at 10cm and they dilly dallied trying to buy time. Finally i was pushing as it was time and the baby's head was visible and she wasn't there yet. The nurses then closed my legs and made me wait for the dr ! We waited about 20 min for her to arrive (her office is right by the hospital). When she came did a couple more pushes and the baby was out. Now what happened next i later learned is what is a called a birth injury from being in the birth canal too long. My son didn't want to feed (not normal at all !!) which hurt my milk supply badly, his heart rate was lower than normal, and he wasn't keeping his temp right. He was full term baby, his heart rate was always perfect in my belly and while being monitored the whole time before birth. I will never forgive the hospital and this stupid system with drs . There is no proper care it's only about money. There is more to this but i hope that me coming out about it will help others to avoid this, avoid their baby being taken from them to the NICU, avoid postpartum depression/anxiety from this type of stress . I went to Southwest Medical for my first pregnancy and ended up getting delivered by a doctor I never saw and who made me feel uncomfortable throughout the labor. I didn't want this impersonal experience for my second pregnancy, so I found Dr. Langdon. The staff was always kind and attentive. It's a small office and my first problem was wait times. I waited around for at least an hour before even going into a room for most appointments. This is an unfortunate circumstance for uncomfortable and sick pregnant women. But I always brushed it off because I figured seeing a consistent doctor would be worth it. When I was brought into a room, Dr. Langdon was often in the back area. I would walk right past her and there was never any acknowledgement or greeting of any kind. Totally understand, she's busy. But I always found this aspect of her office to be extremely awkward. During visits, she was knowledgeable and answered my questions. She was quick and updates were very brief. Given the lengthy wait times, it often felt like seeing her for three minutes was not worth coming. Dr. Langdon was not present for my delivery. I inquired afterward and found I was delivered by her "covering" doctor. I knew there was a chance she wouldn't be able to make my delivery, but was unaware there were three specific days of the week in which she wouldn't be there. Apparently, she works with two other doctors that cover for her on off days. They did not share her office and were two names I had never heard of prior to my delivery. I understand this, but wish it had been communicated clearly to me prior to my birth. Again, I found myself in a situation where I had no knowledge of the doctor who actually showed up for my delivery. Thankfully, I had a positive experience with my delivering doctor. But after all the trouble of switching providers and all the visits with Dr. Langdon, I also never heard a word from her office until they billed me seven months later. No follow-up at the hospital and not even a phone call for missing my labor, scheduling a post-partum appointment, congratulations, or anything else... just a bill. With that said, I am extremely disappointed and my entire pregnancy experience with Dr. Langdon feels like it was a huge waste of time and money. I had gotten over it, but sending me a bill this late in the game was kind of like throwing salt on the wound. If I ever become pregnant again, I would not return to this doctor. read more

I have been going to this practice for almost 10 years now. Started with dr Langdon's partner for my first daughter and went with dr Langdon for my second pregnancy just 2 years ago. Dr Langdon has seriously been the best OB dr I've ever experienced. She by far gave me the easiest c section and super easy salpingectomy (tubal removal) almost 2 weeks ago. The office staff has always been super helpful with any insurance questions. And always accommodating for any issues I may have had. The main receptionist girl has been there since my first daughter and has always been the best. A good OB is hard to find and I am very lucky to have found her. I started seeing Dr. Langdon a few years ago for general gynecological needs. I've always found her entire staff to be incredibly kind, patient, and personable. I became pregnant in April with my first child and enjoyed having Dr. Langdon and her staff as my caregivers through the whole process. I always knew what to expect for each upcoming appointment and I really appreciated that. My water broke at 3am on a Thursday and ended up needing a C-Section late that night after discovering that the cord was wrapped tightly around my daughter's neck causing her to go into distress. Dr. Langdon walked me through the entire process and kept me well informed. What was most impressive was that in the 4 days that I was in the hospital, Dr. Langdon came to see me 5 times!!!! I have lived in Henderson for almost 27 years. I have known SO MANY women that have given birth in this town and I have NEVER heard of a doctor that has stopped by the hospital to check in more than twice. 5 minute doctor Delivered my baby but changed the day of my induction the day before I was due at St Rose changed it to Henderson Hospital for that night. She arrived super late to the hospital. Never checked my well being only had the nurses relay how me and my baby were doing. Decided on a c-section only because a nurse caught my high temperature and our elevated heart rates smh not really involved at all. Really long wait up to two hours average 1 to 1 1/2 hours to see her for 5 minutes. No real communication after having my baby no follow-up really no calls from her office. I am always hesitant to write reviews on Yelp for a couple of reasons. 1, some people just use Yelp as a way to attack or sabotage certain businesses/people while sitting behind a computer screen with no sense of accountability or remorse. 2, I would hate to sound like one of those people, being mean or sounding crazy to anyone who reads my review. That being said, this review is an absolute must, regardless of how it might make me look and feel. If it helps one person avoid my situation. I highly recommend you search elsewhere if you are looking for a doctor to "care" for you throughout what should be a beautiful experience bringing a child into this world. Let me start off by saying I am almost 30 weeks pregnant with my second child. We moved here from out of state last May and I had to find a new OB when I became pregnant last Dec. Not knowing many people, I was recommended by a friend of a friend to Dr. Langdon. She seemed nice at first. After a couple visits I soon found out this was definitely not the Dr. I had hoped for. Waiting between 1-2 hours (I'm unfortunately not embellishing one bit) just to be called back to a room, every single time. Once in the room being rushed in and out, never acknowledging the wait. Should have been a red flag for her lack of concern for the patients there, but I continued to see her. She then sent out incomplete paperwork and referral to a third party Dr. which stated that my baby had Down Syndrome and I was brought in for counseling. Which my baby NEVER even had. Talk about unwanted and warranted stress on an expectant mother. All because she filled out paperwork wrong/incomplete. No apologies or acknowledgement here. Next she ordered my glucose testing to be done incorrectly. I fasted, got a babysitter, went in to the lab for testing, just to be turned away and asked to come back 4 weeks later when the test should be done. Once again, she never said a word to me. Lastly, 2 weeks ago I received a call from her receptionist saying Dr. Langdon had ordered some more testing to be done by a third party Dr. Having experienced several mistakes with this Dr's office already, I called to ask her about the tests: what it was, if it was mandatory, what it entailed, etc. I never got a call back from her. I finally, after several attempts to reach her, I did receive a call back from her receptionist saying that the tests were "NOT mandatory". Once again, never even speaking to Dr. Langdon directly, I took the receptionist's word. 3 days later, I receive a certified letter being DISCHARGED as a patient for not taking these tests. Baffled and confused I call back to find out they are indeed, mandatory as her patient and was in fact discharged as her patient. STILL never speaking to Dr Langdon. Not once. What kind of Dr doesn't even acknowledge her patients like that?? One that doesn't care. So, now left at 30 weeks pregnant with no Dr. ( apparently no Dr. in Nevada will take on a new patient this far along that is now considered high risk and been discharged), and (here's the kicker....) NO refund of $800 that my husband and I prepaid for Labor and Delivery already. "Dr" Langdon's practice should not be able to care for any expectant mothers. Or any other human being for that matter. I'm not sure how or if what she is doing is legal, but morally and ethically, it is so wrong. While I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else, I can't imagine I'm the only one that has experienced such an awful nightmare for something that is supposed to be a wonderful time in a mother's life. Do not go here. You've been warned. Dr. Langdon doesn't even know how to use the machines in HER OWN practice. I asked to hear the heartbeat of my baby that she was seeing on the US screen, but she "doesn't know how to do that." WTF And then she tells me I will need Rogam because I'm A negative blood type. No lady, I'm A+, I've had a baby before, I know my body. How do you get someone's blood type wrong!? (Side note: I paid the "convenience" fee and had my blood drawn there. BAD IDEA.) Dr. Langdon is exceptionally short with patients, I've never had an OB come and go so quickly. There are even signs in the rooms telling you not to ask questions, those should be saved for the "consultation area" after your visit. Every single wall in the office, bathrooms, and clinic rooms is covered with advertisements for "rejuvenating" procedures for your cellulite, wrinkles, and frown lines. Way to make a pregnant gal feel real awesome about herself. Seriously, I dread going to this place for my prenatal care, I won't be letting her come anywhere near me or my baby for the birth. I had to come on here to leave my honest review for Dr. Langdon and staff because they are so awesome! I moved to Las Vegas 4 years ago and have no family here, so finding a new obgyn was a real challenge for me since I usually rely on recommendations from friends or family. I randomly chose a physician from the long list of providers given by my insurance company. I won't give any specifics but I was a bit traumatized from only having that 1 visit. Almost 3 years later, I still haven't been seen by any other physician since then but I was in desperate need for one after finding out that I'm pregnant. I went on the hunt again for an obgyn, called a bunch of them only to find out that nobody was accepting new patients. By the time I called Dr. Langdon's office, I was already feeling discouraged but that all changed when I heard that she was accepting new patients! Dr. Langdon is a busy woman and for good reason. I got my first appointment with her scheduled for 2 weeks out but I didn't care how long I had to wait, I just felt grateful. On the day of my first appointment, I was impressed with how pretty the waiting room area was. It's decorated nicely and most importantly, it felt clean. The office staff are always so friendly and I knew it just felt like I was finally in the right place. Once I got to meet Dr. Langdon, I knew she was perfect fit. She is so sweet, she is very patient and she just has this way about her that makes me feel at ease. Let me start off by saying I'm so grateful that my friend referred me to Dr. Langdon when I found out I was pregnant because she is the most amazing doctor I've ever had! From the very first appointment with her, she was very attentive to me and made me feel so comfortable. Throughout my entire pregnancy she was so dedicated to make sure that everything was going smoothly and always took her time with me and answered all of my questions. This being my first baby, I was naturally nervous but Dr. Langdon was there for me whenever I needed her. Her staff is exceptional and so polite and professional, I always enjoy going to her office. The worst!!! I have anxiety about going to the gyno because of her. First, I wanted to get an IUD. I didn't really know anything about them except 5 years no pregnant. I was pretty young so I didn't know what to ask. I did however ask how putting it in goes and I was told that it was super easy and I could go straight to work. I was in bed in pain for 2 days. I know now that the pain is normal and I never should have been told otherwise. Second, misdiagnosed. I went in and got tested. In my paperwork I stated I wanted test results over the phone. Signed all the HIPA stuff allowing that. When my tests results came in they refused to give them over the phone and proceeded to charge me $50 to get results. Doctor walked in said I had herpes. Offered me some prescription and then tried to leave. When I said I had no symptoms she said that was normal and walked out. I didn't take the medicine and immediatly went and got a second opinion. The second opinion was that Dr. Langdon didn't know how to read test results. So that was a terrible experience read more

Horribe to say the least. 2.5 hour wait for my first visit. "Couldn't find my IUD" sent me for an ultrasound. The tech said it was in the appropriate spot. Then found a 8cm cyst/lesion I never knew I had. Doc office never called me for a follow up. I waited a week and then called them. Scheduled an appointment and next day office manager calls to inform me that although my new IUD is covered 100% I had to pay an upfront deposit of $800. I have amazing benefits! I called and verified that they pay 100% and will send the office their payment within 7 days! The office stated they only will follow the "buy and bill program". I can't imagine how people are treated who don't have good benefits. You send me for an ultra sound I didn't need but you found a cyst I didn't know I had .....thankfully. You make me wait 2.5 hour the first visit. Then tell me over the phone (after waiting a week) "it's not just a cyst it says lesion so it's possibly something else,there is a lot of notes on here, you will need to discuss with Dr.Langdon." My health insurance has now called them directly to discuss with them everything and they will not call her back. I can't say enough about how horrible these people are. Compassion and Customer Service aren't even in their vocabulary. read more

The receptionist demanded a payment upfront and would not even pass my chart to the doctor for me to see the OB. $$$$$ This office is not caring about anything other than money. I am a nurse and a prior financial counselor for years. They're obviously desperate for money, no concern whatsoever so have a conversation to check on the baby first and then work it out accordingly. I have had some good and some bad OB's but I would say Dr Langdon is far above the rest. I ended being a high risk pregnancy. She was very thorough and compitent. She also genuinly cares about her patients. Her office was easy to work with to get my records transfered over from my PCP as well. I went in early for delivery and the baby was almost lost. The hospital called her and she was there within minutes ready for c-section. Everything from there went smoothly. Her skills were amazing and you cannot even see the scar. She also did my second surgery non related to the pregnancy. I will continue to see her, even if her office moves. read more

I went to Dr. Langdon after suffering from severe menopausal problems for three miserable years, with ineffective help from my previous doctor. Dr. Langdon did extra tests to relieve my worries and put me on medicine which eliminated all of my difficulties. She is open to discussing my concerns and has been a true lifesaver for me in regard to menopause and it's debilitating effects.
