I was given a little portable buzzer to alert me when the order was ready. This was awesome so I didn't miss any bingo at The Emerson. When my kitty buzzer went off I got my sandwich perfectly wrapped and accompanied with napkins and cutlery. The lovely lady who runs the truck is so sweet and friendly. She was quick to offer suggestions on sauce pairings. The sandwich was piping hot and it was delicious and flavorful. The meat was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection tender! The flavor profile was balanced and I could taste everything it advertised! The onions were perfect and the cheese was super melty. Now that name should ring a bell because this food truck is the little mobile version of El Paisano, one of Reno's favorite Mexican/Salvadorian restaurants. The truck just hit the streets, and it's making people happy at private parties and office plazas all over. We hired them to cater a block party and it knocked everyone's socks off! For us they served a solid menu of classics like tortas, tacos, and burritos, with either al pastor, asada, pollo, or lengua. We chose those meats, but they can do anything you want. The kitchen setup inside the truck is really nice, and I'm sure capable of a whole lot more too. Everything was absolutely delicious, clearly food made fresh with a lot of love. The al pastor was rich and spicy and the lengua was incredibly tender too. They rolled out a full salsa bar with four or five varieties along with radish, limes and whole grilled jalapeños. Pricing was totally reasonable and the service fast and friendly too. I'd highly recommend working with these guys anytime! Ask them about their incredible taco cart too!

Atmosphere - A food truck, like none I had seen before. Looks more like a modified box truck as the cab was a separate from the kitchen. There is not much to rate as it a truck. Food Dinner - A food truck with burrito and tacos, too many choices. I went my classic choice of a burrito. And to top it off they have carne asada. Done deal! $7 was a deal for the burrito, there was some rice and beans as filler but the flavors of the burrito were great. I had totally unwrapped the foil from the burrito, but by then the bottom was busting out so the foil had to go back on. Service - It was what you needed, fast and friendly. The little cups for the condiments were in the truck but it was an issue asking as they were right there in the pickup window. Future - Yes.

I am a taco lover and really but not always the biggest carne asada taco fan. Well Preemos proved me wrong. In all honesty, this is absolutely one of the best tacos I've ever had! Pleasant Valley hosted a block party and Preemos was our pick for taco truck. The line was long and the tacos were slung until they were sold out. We got some of the last tacos and boy am I glad we did! The meat was super tender, well marinated, and deliciously crisp from the griddle. Grilled tortillas, onions, cilantro, and some mighty fine salsas = deliciouso! I couldn't stop eating these tacos and will look forward to having them again.

We had them out to serve food at our annual block party and really crushed the game. There was a line the whole time and each guest was placing BIG orders for larger groups, and yet through it all, they only had to pause for a few minutes to regroup during service. I got to enjoy the asada tacos along with homemade salsa rojo and verde. The asada was super tender, which is usually my beef with this beef! It was also incredibly well marinated. The tortillas were perfectly warmed and soft too! I loved everything about these tacos! We chatted with John and Glynis, the owners as John prepared our food and learned that like myself he is a Navy Submarine Vet. It was nice to get to know them and we told them how nice it is to have them in the area providing delicious food in the North Valleys. They shared that they secured this spot at Ranchers Feed and Supply two nights per week in addition to their other locations. With a teenager who eats everything, I can't always go to Olive Garden for the AYCE pastas or bread during their promotions. Besides, there's no Olive Garden in Marin, they even shut down Tomatina's, Chevy's, Pasta Pomodoro's, Denny's, Outback, CPK & Max's (just venting). The homemade cannolis are a must-have for dessert. I can't wait to see this truck around town, sure wish they would come to Off the Grid in Larkspur on Sundays. The prices are decent with copious amounts of pasta & sauce. The focaccia bread is soft and warm, get those arancini balls, too. I know there are pasta snobs who think they can make way better pasta at home, but ain't nobody got time for that! I was finally able to try Scottaco's. It did not disappoint!! Usually located on Market Street in Reno, Scottaco's does a fantastic job of keeping their Facebook page updated to their location for the day! So follow them on all the social media platforms!! My son Taven and I came to try tacos...so tacos is what we got! We ordered two Carne Asada Street Tacos, two Al Pastor Street Tacos and two Al Pastor Scottaco's. First of all... I know quite a few taco trucks that offer Al Pastor... yet I cannot think of one that actually has the meat grilling up the way Scott does. (I know at least one restaurant that does this but no taco trucks...until now.) They cut it off traditionally, pineapple and all! Second of all, the Scottaco literally is meat wrapped in a melted cheese blanket on a corn shell. Can you say...YES PLEASE!?!? The Al Pastor was our favorite! Not that the Asada wasn't good!!! It had a rich warm char flavor which I love! But the Al Pastor was so on point, that we couldn't even get enough of it. Especially wrapped in that cheese blanket!!! DROOL!!! My son and I sat on the pavement to begin eating but it was too cold so we moved to the back of my car. A few seats would be nice...but honestly, I'll sit in the back of my car to eat these tacos any day!!! Literally sitting in anticipation waiting for the day that they offer the NdN Taco I see pictures of on the front of the truck! Can't wait for that!!!!! Lastly, It was awesome seeing Scott himself in there, cooking and doing what he loves. Friends from all over coming to see him and eat his food. Such an inspiration to me. The al pastor was one of the yummiest I have ever tasted, but the chicken was a close second. The carne asada cheese shell tacos were tender, flavorful and keto friendly. The cheese shells added a new depth of richness to these tacos. He also offers a "trust me burrito." The ingredients varies - so far, I had the ablondigas en aldobe and the pollo verde burritos and they are FANTASTIC! In short, this food truck offers great tasting food made from quality ingredients at reasonable prices. Go try the food, you will be glad you did!
