I contacted the office, and the technicians became aware that I had called. They then acted angrily and aggressively toward me in my own home. When I contacted the office again, I was met with an argument. I asked that the technicians leave immediately and that a new team be sent to complete the full cleaning. The company agreed. A few days later, another technician arrived, but I experienced the same problems. I spoke with him and his supervisor, Rick, and we agreed that the entire sectional would be cleaned. However, the technician cleaned only a small portion of the stained areas--approximately 20 percent, at most--and sprayed deodorizer over the remaining areas to address the odor left by the previous service. He then attempted to leave about 45 minutes into a job that was supposed to take three hours. I called the supervisor again. He argued that the technician had sent him photographs and reported that the work was complete and satisfactory. Rick maintained that the service had been performed properly. After returning home, I reviewed my living room security-camera footage and sent the company video showing the technician cleaning only a few spots before leaving. Rick continued to dispute my account, relying on the technician's claim that the work had been completed correctly. I then sent full recordings of both cleaning visits. The footage clearly showed the poor service I received: the technician cleaned only three of the eight cushions and three of the eight pillows, along with part of an armrest and part of the ottoman. The areas that were cleaned were handled poorly. The videos made it clear that I had not received the service I paid for. This morning, Bobby, the general manager, contacted me. After reviewing the footage, he argued that he had seen the pictures and that his technicians had done the job correctly. He repeatedly talked over me during the call. I requested either a complete re-cleaning of the sectional or a full refund of the $550, but Bobby denied both requests. The conversation was extremely unprofessional, and I believe Bobby should be removed from his position. I expected better from this company. I have contacted my attorney and intend to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This is only the beginning. I will ensure that the company is held accountable for how it treated me and considers the consequences before treating another customer this way.

When tenants used a home steamer that didn't effectively pick up water, leaving the carpet soaked in spots, they quickly responded with humidifiers, steam cleaning and enzyme treatment. Later, unsupervised pets caused some carpet damage, including ripped areas. Thankfully, South Texas Carpet offers carpet repair, which was a huge relief. Standout features of this company is their responsiveness and reliability and the potential to use them for other services like tile/grout cleaning, air duct cleaning etc. They've always been dependable whenever I've needed them. The only reason I said 4.5 stars is that they recently requested payment upfront and while they were accommodating--considering my reluctance to pay large amounts upfront due to past experiences with small businesses--they kept mentioning a 20% late charge if I didn't pay within the same day. As a repeat customer who always pays directly after the work is checked, I was surprised by this change and their hesitation to leave an invoice since I wasn't present. It's their right to charge extra late fees for Next Day Payments, and perhaps they have been burned by customers and are being more adamant about timely payments? But it wasn't me and I felt slightly offended. Additionally, I think their enzyme treatment for bacteria and microbes could benefit from a longer application time for stronger odors.
