First time at this location and was quite impressed, There was a line that wrapped in the store but it moved incredibly quickly. I was actually impressed at the level of efficiency they have going on here. Today I had the beef tenderloin salad and it was good and SUPER filling, I was not able to finish it all. The salad was good but I think I will try other salads in the future. The meat is chopped really small which is nice, however the beef was quite dry. The price came to be just under 18 due to the downtown tax, which I feel like is a bit high. The store itself had tons of seating which was not being used at all despite the big windows. I went here for lunch today, the line was out the door! It didn't matter though, I feel like i was through the line in less than 10 minutes! So many workers, and the service was very fast! Every city has their version of Chopt/Sweetgreen and Green + The Grain is Minneapolis' version. Just like most fast casual salad places, there are premade salads and create your own bowls. Service is fast and efficient. While there is a nice modern vibe in the shop, most people opt to eat in the mall/plaza building. My partner and I also took our food to eat outside of the shop because the music was too loud for a weekday afternoon. Taste-wise, Santorini salad was refreshing and enjoyable. Similarly, my partner liked his buffalo chicken salad. Nothing to complain about, both were tasty well portioned salads. Great salads, great price. A small salad is big enough for one meal and maybe even two, but they do mix the dressing so it becomes a little soggy. Super flavorful and great choices for salads. I would recommend getting one from the menu and not adding anything because it will bring up the price and then it might not be as worth it. I added corn and they charged over a dollar for a tiny scoop. Overall it is a great place and they are very quick with getting your order out. Make sure to keep your eyes on your salad! They're really quick and pass on your salad to other workers to finish it. The place is beautifully decorated inside as well. Would return to try more salads. read more

Eh, just ok salad. I had the farmer with beef tenderloin and blue cheese. They toss everything together. Each flavor gets lost and the croutons get soggy fast. The avocado becomes part of the dressing. The pieces of meat were so small I could barely find them. I came here because I had jury duty. When I looked at the menu I was expecting to come back everyday. I'm going to try somewhere else tomorrow. The line gets long at lunch but moves quickly. The lines are always long during peak lunch hour but go by surprisingly fast. The menu is relatively small, but that's not a bad thing considering the options are good. It averages $10 for a small and $12 for a large salad - if you're hungry, go for the large as it's worth the extra $2 and you'll be pleasantly full. They don't look very big but they are. If you ask me for the best grabs for salad in downtown, I'd say this would be the place. I've been a loyal customer for 2 years and it never ceases to disappoint me. This US Bank Plaza location just opened this spring and it's their 3rd location. I'm so glad I don't have to walk down to Baker Center or LaSalle Plaza anymore, they're quite a distant from me. However it never stopped me from getting my salad fix. This place is awesome! I've tried most of their salads one too many times but only stick with the ones I love: the Cowboy, Santorini and Moroccan. They add all the ingredients into a stainless bowl and mix mix mix! Then they have 2 sizes: small and large. Pricing doesn't vary much from the two, about a dollar difference. Which is why I always grab the large so I can save the other half for dinner or lunch the next day. The very first time I had this was when they just started in a food truck. It's amazing to see how they've expanded. My first salad was the berry one but it must be limited because that was the only time I had it. Sad. It was bomb! Anyways their layout is super cute! The wooden tables and simple grass plants reminds me of a home setting. The line is usually pretty long for the other locations but this location is bigger so I haven't seen a line yet. They have signature salads to choose from. You can also build your own. You can also have it in a burrito. One unique addition to this location is their frozen yogurt section! I have yet to try those. Also their staffs are super friendly and helpful. read more

This place is SO GOOD. I'm a sucker for fancy salads. I was traveling for work, and it can be hard to find fast, healthy options when you're in an unfamiliar city. I'm very glad I found this place. They have their lunch rush on lock; the line can be out the door and down the hall, but it'll still only take ~10 minutes to get in and out. The ingredients all looked and tasted so fresh. The signature salads were creative and delicious. I got the Buffalo Shrimp and Apple+Pear during my stay. I'll need to go back next time I'm in town to try others! The only downside: they give you compostable containers and utensils, but there are no compost bins to put them in when you're done. read more

I pretty much only come into the office about 4 days a week so that I can eat the Santorini salad for lunch. I'm considering naming my next child after it. The line is usually around the corner, which should tell you something... but it moves fast and the music is good so it goes by quickly. I never go to this location, but saw a horrible thing today. I was patiently waiting and saw an employee walk over behind the counter and blow her nose sticking the paper towel in her nose and walk over to the salad line and made zero attempt at washing her hands, she was putting on gloves but this is still unacceptable. In this industry the number one priority should be cleanliness and heightened sense of self awareness. This is unacceptable. I can only imagine what this location does behind doors.
