I randomly stumped upon this company during the holidays online when shopping for a golf set. I researched far and wide and put my faith in these guys. As a rookie golfer i'd still say their prices are so amazing and variety options from colours to brands / heights .. whatever it is you need to make your golfing experience 10x better. I'd say you can find it with these guys. I do admit i returned the original one i bought online because it ended up being too long the golf clubs but i ended up buying golf shoes/ hat and callaway balls in store and soon another golf set in store. Marc and Jerry were phenomenal with helping and answering all the billions of questions i had. My shopping experience was pretty seamless i'd say. It was a bit of a drive but once you're there it truly is worth it. They also price match in store, you're welcome!! They take cash/credit card / debit .. if you can't get a hold of them through email i highly suggest you give them a call or go into the physical store.

I mentioned i was interested in 2 other sets that golf town actually does carry because i saw it on their website and they told me the differences and similarities. I tested my swing and form etc before even really deciding which set i wanted. In the end everything worked out. Got exactly what i wanted and needed. The guy working here was super friendly and helpful, the products seem reasonably priced (what I wanted was actually cheaper than on Amazon, plus buying here supports a local business), and the location is convenient to bike/Skytrain/drive. The guy there ( I regret not getting his name!) got us all sorted out, showed us gear in a range of prices, explained options, showed us how to size the gear and honestly was so genuine. I never once thought that this guy is just trying to make a sale, he was committed to making sure we walked out happy - and we sure did! When ringing everything up he was even able to work up a bit of a discount for us - and gave my son a free ball. This store is about a 45 min drive from where we live and I will 100% be going back, totally worth the trip.

Consigners set the initial prices and get 50% back, so it's luck of the draw as to whether you'll get a good deal. Got a Dunlop racket ($33) that works like a charm, and the used tennis balls ($0.50/ea) are really worth it if you don't mind a Sharpie'd "T" on it. The soccer ball, I made the mistake of buying a lower-end Tektonik ($17) one. BIG mistake. After one use, it began cracking apart massively -- likely an issue of the ball being stale and/or overinflated. Although this is mostly the fault of a bad consigner, I was disappointed that I couldn't get anything back for it after I called and warned them about the other two they had on their shelf. Part of me is kicking myself that I didn't go for the nicer, likely better-maintained $22 Puma ball on the rack -- ended up dishing out another $25 for a new one at SoccerWest anyways. But I'm wondering whether I should sell my new ball to them when I myself have to head out of town, or whether I should go through the effort of selling it on Craigslist/Marketplace to give someone (and probably myself) peace of mind. TLDR: Know what items to buy used, and which are buyer-beware. Quality control can only go so far.
