She needs a walker and help changing. We were loaded with clothes to try on and was prepared to spend a bucketload of $$$. Got to the change rooms and the doors were not even wide enough to let a walker through, the rooms themselves were so small we could not even shut the door for me to help her - no room for me. The stool they had for sitting on was too low, she could not get up on her own when normally she could. Auld Phillips is sort of a funny place. If you look at the display in the window, it screams "50…read moreplus" market for clothing. Out of curiosity I explored it one day and found it has a dual personality. There is no doubt that the senior citizen can find their stand by faves in here. There is also a decent selection of French Dressing jeans, and other name brands that suit those of us who worry a bit about wearing sleeveless, but aren't ready for polyester elastic waistbands. There are some really nice dress blouses, pants and up scale jackets for business to cocktail purposes. The service from the ladies who work there is exceptional and they know fit, and make actual recommendations and help you get a nice look... how rare is that?!?!

We came into the store and really wanted to make a purchase. unfortunately they hired two horrible sales associates (Sylvia & Lynn). My aunt ask to try on a dress but they refused and ask if we can afford the pricing. We said yes, and ask for the size but again they refused and said they didn't have her size. My aunt went up and look at for her size and it was there....long story short we were about to buy a $250.00 dress but because of their attitude we left and found a better dress at another store! Another customer who was standing at the front told us they also left because they overheard our conversation with the sales associates. What a shame! They could have made an easy sale because we were limited on time and willing to buy!

Their staff are very knowledgeable of the type of shoes I need for my hard to fit feet. First, they let me know what type of foot support I may need and then recommend several styles they have for my feet size, width and support. Their shoes are pricey but all the shoes I've bought from them have high quality material, have lasted me a long time and provided comfort and functioned as designed. They used to have boring colours and designs but they have stepped up their game and now have many stylish colours and material for some of their shoes. Unfortunately, the shoes I chose (1540V2) did not come in a newer and more stylish colour and material but it was perfect for my feet type which is more important. The store is located near Willowbrook Mall and has plenty of parking in the front of the store.

Because of the way the clothes are so beautifully put together, I could envision SO MANY outfits, top to bottom on ME! What a gifted artistry it is to show your products in a way that speaks loud and clear to the customers! It makes our shopping choices - effortless. As anyone over size 12 knows, finding clothing that resonates and inspires you to buy, is often a challenge - well that is certainly not the case with this store and it's staff! The ladies are so welcoming, warm and enthusiastic about the clothes and accessories they sell. They are helpful and not intrusive. They are there for your every need. They make light conversation but don't interfere with your (shopping/perusing) process. I can't wait to go back. I think this may have just become one of my favourite 'go to' stores for the multitude of casual and dressy options available and so beautifully displayed + the bonus of great people who work there and really care! The staff are extremely helpful with color matching, sizes, and honest opinions. Their Web site provides a 10 items / 10 ways guide that allows you to choose options that mix and match well. Given the Canadian dollar rate and the Summer sales, my last visit was an amazing bargain for the quality and quantity of my purchases. Willowbrook mall in Langley is a quick trip over the border. Skip the empty rack at Macys and find your Canadian chic at Ricki's!
