We would give him 10 stars if we could!!!…read more After 9 years of above average wear and tear in our rental townhouse, we were moving back in and our three stories of engineered hardwood floors that came with the unit were looking pretty rough. Complete replacement with luxury vinyl was cost prohibitive and we knew that we couldn't truly sand/refinish them like actual hardwood floors, but we were looking for at least spot repairs to make them look halfway decent. Other vendors had already told us that they couldn't do anything due to the distressed texture of the floor and it being engineered hardwood but Joel's response to our Yelp quote request gave us some hope. Joel came out immediately and took a look at our floors himself. After some on-the-spot experimentation with supplies he had brought over, he recommended spot sanding repairs along with whole-floor light abasing followed by custom staining and some protective poly coats. With very reasonable prices, he was done within 5 working days and the results are amazing!!! It even looks like the floor has a little character now in the spots that were repaired/touched up! When we move out in the future, we will use him again in the future between every renter to take good care of our floors and make them last!
