They deliver to my home for free, which is insane, and they go above and beyond to make sure you have a positive experience. I recently received a bag of cat food (same one we always get) that must have been a bad batch, because all three of my kitties got sick. It happens. Well they took the bag back without a second thought AND special ordered a different flavor just to be sure we got a different batch than the one that was bad. She'd just begun feeding her dog raw food only and had noticed the difference in her coat, energy level, and weight. She looked around and gave the place her endorsement. I went back after I adopted my dog. Seven years old, born and bred on raw. Leslie made both of us welcome with treats and advice. She's stocked with a range of options and will order others. Green Pet rock's my menagerie's world! With 4 dogs and 2 cats, having to remember to go out of my way to get dog food was such a hassle. Since Green Pet is less than a mile from my home, I benefit from being able to grab a bag easily if I forget or schedule orders for pick up or delivery at a specific time. When I was first considering switching our animals (4 dogs, 2 cats) to one of the organic lines Green Pet carries, I was given a variety of samples to try. We worked through several different brands and formulas until we figured out which type my cats would appreciate- the dogs were pretty easy. At first I was worried about the cost, but then realized that I was pay ~.08 more per lb, but saving the out of way driving I had to do to get to all the other pet supply stores. Also, they are great about getting orders ready for pick up if I call from work. They are also ultra helpful and go so far as carrying my 30+lbs of food out to my car for me! Green Pet also offers a variety of natural/organic/generally green chew toys, treats, dog/cat apparel, and art work. I highly recommend them both for the convenience factor and the variety and quality of the products they carry at reasonable prices. read more

But I was pleasantly surprised with both the selection and the affordability of the items in this store. They have lots of food and treats, which is what I went in looking for. I was having a hard time finding dog treats that had healthy, natural ingredients, so I decided to give Green Pet a try. They had a wide selection for very affordable prices. Green pet is as good as it gets! We just moved to Dallas after a lifetime in San Francisco. Our dog-child is spoiled rotten and eats the best of the best dog food. For the past month I was ordering his dog food online to be delivered since I hadn't found a pet store that carried his food or had high-quality treats and bones. It was great day when a friend recommended Green Pet in Bishop Arts! The owner Leslie was MORE than helpful with her advice and recommendations. She gave us free samples of dog food so I could see which one my fluffy guy liked best. We found our dog an excellent food that he SCARFS down and I absolutely love and appreciate that they carry an abundance of HIGH-QUALITY and hard-to-find bones, chews and treats. She went over each of the bones with me, told me which animal they come from, and how long they would last. (Our dog is a major chewer!) They also have a great selection of toys, leashes and other pet related items but they specialize in helping you and your furry friend find the right food for your budget and your pet's tastes. Several years ago prior to adopting our mixed-terrier my husband and I came across Green Pet while exploring the Bishop Arts District. Several weeks before we had relocated here from Ohio and had never came across an organic dog food store in Ohio. Growing up with 4 large dogs.. I had no idea this was even an option! The day we picked up our little fur baby from the Dallas SPCA I looked at my husband and said... "We are going to Green Pet!" It's been 3 years and I've been a loyal shopper since. Leslie and her staff are extremely knowledgeable of not only their products but about the "organic dog world" in general. I called their store last week to ask about a dog food recall and the gentleman that answered the phone was very courteous. He took the time to explain the recall and seemed very educated on the topic. It relieved me of some anxiety to hear "everything will be okay" and also to know Green Pet is always looking out for their consumer. I enjoy my visits there and often take my pup with me. I highly recommend you try out Green Pet and transition your dog to organic dog food. Leslie will give you samples of food to try and will give you a transition chart to follow to be sure your dog gets the nutrition it needs. They offer fantastic treats, bones, toys and clothing. Sometimes she will feature collars and such from local artists. Went here because of the great reviews. They have a small selection of items and carry some of the same brands of dog food as Pets Mart (blue buffalo etc). I was looking for potty training bell and the person working there was not helpful at all. He acted like we were a bother and kept telling us to go to Home Depot for a cowbell even after we said we were just looking around at other products. Every few seconds " Home Depot has cowbells, you can get a cowbell there.". I felt like he was talking down to us and did not want out business. I understand you don't carry them so just let me shop in peace. I understand you are a small business which is why you should treat all customers with respect, after all we were very friendly and even said thanks when we left, even though we felt very offended by your rudeness. Will never shop here again and will recommend against if because it seems you are bothered by your customers. read more

Inviting, laid back, small selection, friendly staff, Pets in the store and right in the middle of Bishop Arts... for those of us in Oak Cliff with pampered pets, this place is an important stop. I went in the first time to investigate and the guy was very helpful... second visit was to grab some food and the lady pointed me to the right stuff. See... my dog is spoiled as hell. He's a top shelf kinda dog... they carry mostly 4 star foods and a couple of 5 star. I'm sure I'll be a regular... blowing my cash on his viddles... check it out, you won't be sorry. Green Pet Supply is a small but well stocked store, I had a really hard time finding a product that was only available through Amazon via Australia and when I walked into Green Pet I was so shocked that it was sitting right there by there counter. I love Green Pet! We've shopped here since they first opened and their oh-so-many amazing natural, earth-friendly, pet-friendly products just keep me coming back. They have a great variety of high end pet foods and treats that are free from harmful and unnecessary additives that dogs and cats wouldn't naturally eat (think soy & corn). They also have a huge variety of toys, leashes, collars, pet bowls and other necessities for Fido & Fluffy. We don't buy our dogs' food here every time, because we're generally poor planners and just go to the store by our house, but for treats and toys, we'll make a stop because we can get their favorite "cookies" in the bigger package for much cheaper than the chain stores (it also makes a fantastic excuse to hit Emporium Pies across the street or Dude, Sweet around the corner!). The staff are always very friendly here too, and they will special order certain things when needed. read more

Love this place! Lots of cute toys and natural treats for dogs. The hi-light of this place is the amazing customer service! My Boston had been having skin issues so the owner suggested a fish/flaxseed oil supplement for food. I was a bit hesitant to buy it without knowing if it would work since it was on the more expensive side ($25). He guaranteed it and said if it didn't work after using half the bottle that I could bring it back. I ended up buying it and unfortunately, it didn't happen to work on my dog, but I brought it back 2 months later and he lived up to his word and gave me a full refund no questions asked!
