It was my first time ordering and having a custom made piñata so my expectations were not very high. Firstly communication was great when we texted and I sent her an email. Gladys responded through text and I pretty much directed the conversation. I paid in cash- 2feet for $55 and additional $14/ additional 0.5feet. So I ordered a 3ft piñata which was confirmed by text and was completed in a few days as promised (I gave her enough time to work on it since it was 3 ft). The hitting stick is an additional $6 which she also made. We (my husband and I ) picked up the piñata and only 1 waiter was responsive to my request. I was asking another waiter about the restaurant but he brushed me off as he was serving a customer that was eating. Mi Lindo Peru is a nice well known restaurant in Mission St and is open 7days a week. Secondly, Piñata was 3ft as promised and met my expectations in terms of how it was supposed to look like (from photo given). It was sturdy and light. There was a hole available for us to put candy in. We didn't fill it up because we didn't know how much a 3ft piñata could handle. There was a hook but didn't have string for us (which i didn't realize) so I bought one on our way to the party. Finally, I have to say that my family and I were very happy with the piñata! It was a huge success at the kids party. It was difficult to hit (sturdy) but at least the kids enjoyed it and the adults were recording their kids release their aggression. Lol The adults had fun playing with the piñata after the candy came out. Lol Muchas Gracias Gladys!

We placed an order with Faye and Cher at Hella Aloha for flower bouquets for our uncle's funeral…read moreservice. We contacted them on a three day holiday weekend for an order - it was EXTREMELY short notice as our original vendor fell through. They were very honest and informed us that it would be difficult to source flowers within two days, but they would do their best. We recognized the challenge as we had already heard back from a few florists (or didn't at all) that they would not be able to accommodate our order. We sent them a few photos of the colors we wanted (white pastels, with hints of pink, purple or peach) and a budget per bouquet. We gave them creative freedom to design with whatever was in season. They created four beautiful bouquets that we were able to display at the entry table, welcoming guests for service. In hindsight, we are so glad that we ended up going with Hella Aloha and working with Faye and Cher. We really appreciate how they went out of their way to work with us, especially with our tight timeline. They kept us updated throughout the process and sent us photos of the finished bouquets before we picked them up. We were really happy with their work, and highly recommend anyone looking for flowers to contact them!

We were really lucky to work with the folks at Hella Aloha as our wedding florists. From the…read morebeginning, they were thoughtful, easy to talk to, and took the time to walk us through what we were envisioning using samples and references to make sure we were aligned. They were also very real and transparent about costs, logistics, and how to make everything work within our budget, which we really appreciated. Aesthetically, we came in wanting a mostly green-and-white palette and shared a few online photos of arrangements we liked. They immediately started brainstorming ways to make it happen and walked us through the pros and cons of different options, including real vs synthetic florals and where substitutions might be needed due to seasonality or availability. What impressed us most was how thoughtfully they considered the full context, the space itself, our wedding party's wardrobe, other design elements like lighting and stationery, and even how everything would be photographed. The flowers didn't just look beautiful on their own, they really tied everything together and made the whole day feel cohesive and intentional. One especially clever touch was how modular the setup was, our ceremony flowers were quickly reconfigured and repurposed to become the arrangement for our sweetheart table. It's also worth mentioning that their foresight got us out of a bind. They flagged early on that we might see rain and advised us to choose a floral vision (which then bled into the aesthetic and logistics of the wedding-at-large) that could work both indoors and out. Sure enough, we ended up relocating our ceremony that morning, and even with the last-minute pivot, everything worked seamlessly. What really stood out was how much expertise they brought beyond just flowers. Their understanding of logistics overall, not just floral setup, helped us tighten up our wedding planning in a bigger-picture way and took a lot of stress off our plate. We're incredibly grateful for the care, intention, and flexibility they brought to our day.

I was planning a LAST MINUTE 18th birthday party (filipino debut) for my daughter with absolutely NOTHING  planned, other than a date, a booked venue and a limited budget with only 3 months ahead of me. DIY Youtube videos, Pinterest, Etsy and Facebook groups were my only forms of entertainment at this point.  My best friend was planning her wedding and was referred to Jesiree to assist with planning. She asked me (as her maid of honor) and her matron of honor to accompany her to meet Jesiree and her husband, Eddy to discuss services that they offer and could possibly assist her with for her wedding. I was IMMEDIATELY impressed with her style, her presentation and the variety of services she has to offer. We also learned during the meeting that she was assisting our other friend with her son's 1st birthday party!  After the meeting, I took the opportunity to ask my best friend if she would mind if I ask Jesiree to assist me with providing services to  plan my daughters party (as I did not want it to interfere with the planning of her wedding). She didnt mind at all! (THANK GOD!) I initially only intended to request for assistance with the creation of invitations and favor tags, as I was on an EXTREMELY tight budget and planned to print them myself. In the end, Jesiree helped create ALL the printables for the party, such as the table numbers and Order of Events! Did I forget to mention that she created a design that exceeded what  we envisioned and was able to match all the printables to the theme that my daughter requested?! Yes, she's THAT GOOD! However, along the way of the planning, I encountered MULTIPLE obstacles, such as last minute cancellations of dessert table assistance, videographers, etc. I was EXTREMELY stressed with no energy or patience left due to my limited budget and the short amount of time I had left prior to the event. Jesiree came through and was able to help me... She recommended an AMAZING photographer (IG: @rawkbeez), took the time to include our event into her busy schedule to design/bake treats for a BEAUTIFUL dessert table, AND host HER photobooth at the event along with her wonderful team (Thanks Eddy, Karen and EJ!).  Jesiree's quality of work speaks for itself. She is very kind, patient, organized, and detailed oriented. Im the type of person who has many questions to ask and she was ALWAYS willing to provide the answer! I highly recommend Whimsy Made for event planning and plan to use her for ALL my future events! Thank you, Jesiree and Eddy for assisting us to help create such a memorable event!
