**edit: I screwed up. They were also selling the big gold foil for $15 a digit at the local party store. I will add another star back since I was being so big headed this morning. However, I still do stand behind the inconvenience of ordering with Cute Balloons** I was going to be a repeat customer. This time I had time to plan and it wasn't as last minute. I will not be attempting to return as a customer nor do I recommend this business. I had a very straight forward order but because he didn't have the colors and type I wanted, the process was stretched out. There was a lot of back and forth with photos and questions. 24 hours later, I realize this is not how it should be. Based on my last experience, I knew I needed to ask questions and request for photos to get options. Because his "green" meant light green when I want a hunter green but he ONLY has the light green and told me he has "green" and would have provided that green to me if I didn't inquire more about it. After a while, it seems like I was directing the sales. To help the guy out, I told him not to blow up every shade of balloon but just take a single picture of the unblown balloon so that I can choose from it. And blow it up if I want to see how it looks like blown up. After that ordeal, he gave me a new quote that was close to my previous order (which had 30 more latex balloons). Basically this time $200 for 50 latex, 10 foil stars, numbers 1 & 0, and delivery. When my last order was $250 for 80 latex, 12 foil stars & delivery. Plus, we gave him a tip even though I was a bit on the fence of doing so. When inquired about the price this time, he concluded that each foil number was to cost $15. For a balloon business, choices are lacking. Eric has no concept of different shades of colors. Definitely has no interests in returning customers. We are a balloon loving party family. So we have had experiences with ordering balloons and blowing up balloons ourselves. I am very disappointed that this local small business is not quite trying to be what they are made out for. Now I'm just more mad because I wasted more time to write this review because I was unhappy with my experience with the balloon man. After I press "post review", I will forget about this business and let go of the angry feelings I have because, damnit! I have a 10 year old birthday party to plan. read more

DISAPPOINTMENT is the only word I can use to describe the final product... I had high hopes because he had 4 stars, given the small amount of reviews he had. But I was willing to give him a chance for the decent price tag.. and boy was that the wrong decision... I guess you get what you pay for? I had messaged Eric beforehand a picture of the venue and what I wanted the balloon arch to look like... I was throwing my sister a Totoro themed baby shower. He said he can do something similar to it. He said he had the colors and the ONLY thing he didn't have was the "eyes" for the dust bunnies. Which I didn't expect to have balloons with eyes, lol. So I said that's fine. I can print it off my cricut machine and stick them on. But he said dont worry, he'll do it. Never once did he say he could not do greenery. He was early to the venue, which was good because I read a previous review stating that he was an hour late. BUT! He was very unprofessional! He never introduced himself or even gave me the opportunity to introduce myself. He just left after he set up and that was it. I don't mean to be rude, but communication through text was very hard and confusing. Grammar and misspelled words made it really hard to understand what he was trying to say... And when he texted me, it was very rude, like "next step is pay me now." And when I texted him about leaving without even talking to him and about the greenery being left out, he says, "I told you I make only balloons and I have other delivery's." Not even, "hi! I'm sorry I had to leave in a rush because I have other orders. But let me know what you think of the arch! I will be by later to pick up the weights." The work that was done was not worth the $250 because we definitely did not get what we wanted at all! The balloons started popping by themselves and it wasn't that windy... HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Please spend a little bit more money and go to a more reputable and professional shop! read more

Amazing!!! Eric came to the rescue and gave our grand opening party look amazing. I contacted Eric 2-days before my party scrambling trying to look for someone to put up 2 columns on a Saturday for a good deal. He texted me that same day telling me he can do it and with a great price compared to other people in the area. He came on time and was very professional. Support small business! I work in Sunnyvale was looking for balloons for the San Francisco office that I support. The good - they do not charge a butt load of money for centerpieces and delivery like their competitors. The centerpieces turned out really well HOWEVER there was a miscommunication about payment. Square is advertised on the website. Square was confirmed as a payment method via email. Square was confirmed as a payment method via text. I was told that I would be receiving an invoice for payment morning of. Sweet! What did happen was that the day before the event the vendor asked if I would be paying with cash or check. No, Square. Who has cash in an office? Upon arrival to the SF office today the vendor showed up and told the Office Manager he did not get paid. Make sure you have a check or cash! read more

This guy is a disaster. He started out with such promise. I was on the hunt for a balloon vendor for a client because my regular go to was unfortunately booked (very unfortunate because he is AMAZING). I reached out to Cute Balloons and immediately got a response. So far so good. It was about 3 weeks out and we had everything confirmed. I was ordering 4 simple bunches of balloons - so not a huge order, but a decent enough one that I thought care might be taken with it. The day before the event I confirm 1) the order, 2) the location, and 3) the time of delivery and set up. All good. Well, the morning of I get a text asking what time the event starts. I respond with the time and ask what his ETA is. No response. Then 20 minutes after the scheduled delivery time (10 minutes before the party) I get a text asking where he was supposed to drop off the balloons. (um, read your text thread buddy). I reach out again 20 minutes into the party...I get a text back that says "almost finished blowing". hmmm, concerning. An hour later he shows up. Great, balloons finally here. In a jumbled mess, but they arrived. Unfortunately 2 of the bouquets were correct, 2 weren't. I said oh, these aren't for me, he said yes they are. I said that isn't what we ordered. He sort of did a face palm and then was like "venmo me money". Super unprofessional, but at this point more than halfway into the event and I was just happy to see the balloons that I let it go. I asked if he would take a percent off because he was over an hour late and didn't deliver what was ordered. He lost it and started shoving the balloons back into his van. Ok, get a grip dude. There were like 30 kids running around and he was the adult causing the scene. So, NEVER using this guy again. I get that you need to make money and charge for materials, but this behavior was over the top. Use him at your own risk. read more

Eric and his assistant showed up on time to set up and returned a few hours later to dismantle. Pricing was reasonable! I never spoke to Eric directly as all communication was through text so I was a little bit nervous on the day of the event but everything came through as planned.
