The suite itself is very relaxing. I was soon brought back to the massage room. We discussed my problem areas (neck, shoulders, upper back, and jaw). She definitely made sure to target those areas. The massage was everything I needed and more. I had never had a Myofascial massage before, so I wasn't sure what to expect other than what I had read online. It involved long strokes, stretching of muscles (and holding some of those stretches for 5 minutes), cupping, and digging into some really tense areas. The CBD was a great addition to add some extra relaxation. 70 minutes was a good amount of time to get to all target areas. First therapist was a bit firm and I had to keep reminding her to be softer. Minimal chit chat. Today I specifically requested a soft touch (different therapist) and happily that's exactly what I received. Was offered water and candy afterwards. Definitely worth a visit. Their prices are very reasonable- essentially $1/minute. Services were advertised for 30, 60, or 90 minutes. No fancy menu (Swedish, sports, aromatherapy etc). A couple of quirks to note: They require payment up front and are a bit disorganized regarding reservations. In the past I would just call for an appointment, which worked out fine since I'm very flexible; today I specifically tried to schedule a future appointment and was able to be accommodated, but there was no guarantee I would get the same therapist as today. Also couldn't be guaranteed a 90 minute massage. Never saw them pull out an appointment book- just looked at a calendar on the wall. Odd.

They are all very sweet ladies and they may seem brusque to an American cultural lens but think of it this way - this isn't a delicate spa experience; this is far more like going to a no frills Asian bonesetter / muscle doctor they will fix you up and send you on your way. Yes they use massage to do it, but no it is not a frilly, fancy, luxury massage. This is for the people where freedom from the pain is worth the initial work. I have been in pain since age 16 and I am 33 now. I didn't know why I suddenly had limited mobility in my neck, my shoulders, my sides, or even, lately, just bending over. After 10 back to back cross country flights, I ended up so stiff I thought I was gonna age out and just die now. It sounds funny but that's how bad it felt. But something told me to find cupping and I accidentally found this place nearby. They were able to take me the same day. At first, right after the massage, the pain seemed to be much worse. The next day, I felt a wreck. I tried to drink lots of water, and knowing my own condition, just stayed in to rest. The next day however? New mobility. My neck was able to twist further. A chronic pain had eased from a 90% to a 10%. So okay, SOMETHING definitely worked but was it the massage? So I went weekly for 10 to 12 weeks and I can honestly say I now feel better than I did when I was 16. I used to be in martial arts - I can tell my kicks are more stable, my punches pack more power, and my muscles and nervous system are all connecting really well. For those who have done any sports, you know what a big deal this kind of freshness is. So do I recommend this place? 100/5 stars if I could. It's a mom and pop shop type vibe but you're coming for the functionality. Your body will thank you and me honestly. All of the different massage therapists have a different style and you need to kind of treat it like a Pokemon gym and go to different therapists for different things. Every single one has a different focus and often Mia or someone else can tell you what you need. Also, they're almost medical with it. They talk to each other as they massage and show each other points on your body and decide a treatment plan together. They frequently work on things you may not have been complaining about but that resolve an issue somewhere else. They also somehow magically know where you are sore - experience and intuition you simply cannot teach. I got cupping for 10 weeks or so but we all decided that my body is in a better place and can do with just massage for a while. You'd think that the massage would end up tapping out on benefit, but it absolutely doesn't. My body is shedding so much old stress that every time, I notice a new tangible benefit. Worth the cost absolutely and make sure to tip the ladies well! I figure in a $20 tip to my bodywork budget.

As a rec league hooper/softball player, I was miserable and considering retirement. I had never experienced chiropractic care, so I was a bit skeptical but willing to try anything. After the course of about 4 months and maybe 6-8 adjustments (sorry I can't remember exactly) and I have been practically pain free. Now disclaimer: doc is absolutely amazing and emailed me some great stretches that I still routinely do to keep my sciatica away or minimal so managing my pain has been a long term commitment that I am happy to do.
