First of all let me just say that the ladies are so nice, but they were texting on their phones during both my husband's and my massages and we were in separate rooms with different therapists. They obviously don't have rules about this. They also would leave the door open when they would go and get the wet towels to wipe you down. The later part of both our massages the doors were left ajar. I was in the first room by the front, so this to me felt like not only a privacy issue but being female, a security one too. My therapist was going in hard. She was very strong. I usually like to be petted like a cat. She would laugh when I asked her to go lighter. I asked multiple times. The massage was everything I needed and more. I had never had a Myofascial massage before, so I wasn't sure what to expect other than what I had read online. It involved long strokes, stretching of muscles (and holding some of those stretches for 5 minutes), cupping, and digging into some really tense areas. I always show them what areas I need them to focus on. When they start working on me it's very clear that from their years of experience, they very quickly know exactly what is going on in my body, and they know exactly how to loosen me up and relieve my pain. The only downside is that the clinic doesn't offer many massage-only package options. Currently, you have to combine chiropractic care and other modalities to book a massage with Mike. It would be amazing if they offered more flexible massage-only packages, as I would definitely come even more often.
