It is amazing how organized and well thought out the ordering system is. There are two lines/windows for orders, and a third line/area for pick up. If you pay with a card, there is a staff member expediting orders while you stand in line. Staff brings your order out. It only took 25 minutes from arriving to indulging.

It is my absolute favorite flavor from Gifford's. I could eat a whole tub at once. I scanned the freezer to find my beloved flavor and I was taken back. A few tubs are double stacked, with the new tub underneath a ripped open tub. My Campfire S'mores was in a very low ripped tub, looking wet, sad, and disappointing. I've never seen leftover ice cream look this wet. I was nervous and tried it, and my assumption was correct, a big NOPE. It was old and gross. Definitely not what this flavor should taste like. That was the moment where I didn't know if I could trust other flavors. I tried cotton candy, and it appeared okay. It looked and tasted as it should. I sampled I Scream For Cake... Seems fine, a little melted. When I asked to try one more, she said, "We're only allowed to give out three samples, sorry." Never at any ice cream shop have I been told about a sample limit, and definitely would have rather been told BEFORE I started sampling wet flavors. I was starting to lose all interest in this shop. I was afraid to get a cup of anything new, so I settled on I Scream For Cake. The boyfriend got Peanut Butter Pie. The awkward moment was when the scooper quickly placed his ice cream on the counter top and it fell over. She sighed loudly, threw it in the trash (I emphasis on threw), and started over. Oof. We ate our melted ice cream outside. The ice cream scoop was okay. The whole experience and interaction was not what I wanted. I hope they get colder freezers and toss the wet ice cream. Right now, I don't plan to return.

Thick, tangy yet sweet, and complimented the chicken perfectly. The ice cream was standard for Warwick ice cream and a good serving size. They also had a huge flavor selection, which was something I didn't see at many of the other ice cream places I tried. Not a cheap meal, but I could see myself returning for that Daisy Sauce alone!

Green Line is a wonderful place your prescription needs and additional items. The best part of going there is the soda fountain. It's comfortable to spend time at and the menu items are fresh, delicious and unique. Recently I went on a Monday night and it was slammed. Hope was working and did a fantastic job managing all of the unusual amount of customers. I look forward to going back soon. read more

Haven't used them as my pharmacy as of yet! But I definitely should, and plan on it! The is place is incredible and one of a kind! It's such a great Place to travel back in time and go get a shake! Love everting about this place! The mid century vibe and ambiance, the old trucks and old truck look alikes.. everting!! It's def a must go to for the Tourists and the locals for sure !!! This place is sooooo cool! I don't know what to expect when I walked in. But wow! Brought me back to another century ! I wasn't around in mis century 1900's but if I was I would imagine there were many places like this . The ice cream was such a cool cogent for being at a pharmacy! Outside they have nice picnic tables to eat. Everyone outside is friendly. This place is also down the street from my kids favorite playground in Jamestown. The shop entrance is on the right hand side of the building and is small inside, with no seating, but there are picnic tables outside on the left side of the building. They have a fun sign on the wall and a couple other decorations. For the flavors that aren't obvious (i.e., Fat Elvis, Moose Tracks, Graham Central Station), they have clipboards on the wall with descriptions of what each one contains. I ordered one scoop of the Fat Elvis but can't remember the second flavor I had. The Fat Elvis was surprisingly good. I was scared the banana ice cream would overshadow all the other additions but it was mellow. I could still very much taste the peanut butter and the pound cake. Since we were the only ones eating outside, it was very peaceful.

I would say the name is partially accurate, in that there is not much in the area besides some nurseries and the diner next door. They do have a parking lot and a lot of picnic tables to choose from, some in the shade and others with umbrellas. Most of their ice cream comes from Gifford's, and some are New England Ice Cream and Warwick; I liked this level of transparency. I wanted to try something from Gifford's, but I couldn't say no to the Cinnamon Bun one from New England Ice Cream. My brother chose the Cashew Caramel Truffle from Warwick Ice Cream. We asked for both in a cup with a cone on top. The cutest little girl called out our order when it was ready and handed it to us through the window. The cinnamon one was amazing and tasted exactly like a cinnamon bun; it had cinnamon, the base tasted like the frosting with hints of condensed milk, and it had chunks of dough throughout. The caramel truffle was also very good. It is easy an on and easy off from the main road.

The woman at the window was great, her eyes lit up when I submitted my request for her favorite on a wafer cone. I also got a water bottle and about a minute later the next window town opened and two hands stuck out. One had my bottle of water and the other held a cone of s'mores ice cream. I chose to eat my ice cream in the car with the AC blasting. This is probably the best s'mores ice cream I've ever had. Made by Gifford's, a well known high quality New England ice cream company, the graham cracker ice cream base was so good, big swirls of marshmallow cream and flat chunks of chocolate that didn't get stuck in your teeth. This is why I like asking the workers their favorite, because I wouldn't have chosen this for myself but now that I know it exists I'll be ordering this flavor from now on!

My mom picked peppermint (her favorite flavor) and was very happy with how many chunks of candy were in it. The employee that took our order was very friendly and seemed to scoop our ice cream well. I grabbed extra napkins because the humidity outside was already working against me. I walked over to the seating area on the side and got to work quickly before nature won. The black raspberry ice cream was cool and creamy, great raspberry flavor without tasting artificial as some do. The oreos adding some chocolatey richness to the experience. It felt indulgent and refreshing. I basically inhaled it so I wouldn't wear it but every bite was fantastic. Inside Scoop has been there for ages, and for good reason. Next time you're in North Kingstown, swing by and try it out for yourself!

All were sipping lattes and seemed happy - a good vibe right from the get go. The barista was upbeat and knowledgeable about the menu, recommending their house made Pumpkin Spice Latte (I had to try it!). I am so glad I did, because theirs is made with pumpkin puree, so it's not sugary or cloying like other varietals you may be familiar with. We were also informed that all their baked goods are made fresh daily, and I was pleased to see the pastry case was clean as well (this is a less common occurrence unfortunately, than you would think). We tried the Blueberry Muffin, and it was FABULOUS! I am already looking forward to going back and trying more. Don't be fooled by the humble roadside plaza exterior- Fuel is certainly worth the stop.

Sat down to eat our snack, staff began vacuuming and washing floors at 2:00, when they're supposed to close at 3:00. My friend was uncomfortable, as it felt like they wanted us to leave... so we left. Another customer was walking in right around 2:00. She appeared very confused, because someone was vacuuming, and no one was working at the counter. Not sure if she waited to order or not. Is it me, or is it rude to begin loudly and aggressive cleaning a coffee shop one full hour before the posted closing time? It's odd.

I would recommend the mini snackle boxes and raw pressed juices. Those could actually be useful for a nearby beach trip and I liked that they use glass jars. The woman running the cafe section of the store was very hospitable, but as other Yelpers have mentioned some of the other store associates were less than enthused. I kind of get it though, Newport's upper echelon isn't the easiest clientele to interact with so I would probably get a little stoic over time as well.
