Good Leaf doesn't even deserve a single star, but 1 star is required to start a review. Our experience with this company was plagued by predatory practices, extreme overpricing, and costly HOA negligence. I was originally going to let this entire negative experience go and move on without writing a review. However, I just received official notification that my driveway expansion was completely omitted from the plans provided to me, forcing me to do additional leg work and pay additional fees to correct their mistake. This final act of negligence was the absolute last straw, and I feel obligated to warn other homeowners. -Predatory High-Pressure Sales: The sales representatives rushed us into home improvement decisions without allowing us time to finalize the design we actually wanted. They arrived early in the morning and refused to leave our home until almost midnight for two consecutive days until they wore us down and we finally agreed to their terms. Furthermore, they dismissed our design requests as "not ideal," which we later discovered was a calculated tactic to minimize material costs and maximize their own profit margins. We are highly unsatisfied with the final work. -Extreme Overpricing: After the project was completed, we had independent, licensed contractors inspect the work. We were informed that we paid significantly above market value for the quality of work received. We were completely taken advantage of financially.HOA -Submission Negligence & False Promises: Our project manager, Noah, repeatedly assured us that his team would handle all HOA approvals and submit the necessary plans. He failed to do so. Weeks after the project was completed, nothing had been submitted. When confronted, Noah dismissed our concerns, stating, "We do these projects a lot, the HOA doesn't care, don't worry about them." Knowing this was false, I had to repeatedly demand the plans to submit them myself. -The Final Straw (The Driveway Omission). Even getting the plans from Noah took forever. When I finally received the notification regarding my HOA submission, I discovered he had completely omitted our driveway expansion from the plans. Because of this negligence, I am now forced to submit a separate request to my HOA, do additional leg work using my own time and pay an additional fees out-of-pocket fee to correct their mistake. Bottom Line: Because of this stressful, predatory, and financially damaging experience, we have instituted a strict "no solicitors" policy at our home. We do not trust this company, and we will absolutely never recommend Good Leaf. read more

GREEN LEAF REMODELING -- BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE HIRING My experience with Green Leaf Remodeling was extremely disappointing and has been one of the most stressful experiences I have had as a homeowner. What I experienced was very different from the professional remodeling company I believed I was hiring. When I began questioning the quality of the work and asking for receipts and documentation, Ken Galadini, who identified himself as the project manager, became rude and disrespectful. I was told, "This isn't a burger stand where you get itemized receipts. I will fix the problem, and that's all you need to know." There was also an incident involving Ken and his father, Isaac, having a verbal altercation inside my home regarding family financial issues. Later that same day, Ken's father confronted me outside my home, yelling and demanding payment for work that had not been completed. This was extremely concerning and made me question the professionalism and management of my project. Unfortunately, before I fully understood the problems with my own project, I referred Green Leaf to my sister because I believed they were a legitimate remodeling company. Although my sister's project was placed under Ken's other company, the same project manager and similar practices were involved. Her bathroom was left torn out and unfinished, permits were not approved, and the project was eventually abandoned for more than two months. She was left with plumbing and other conditions requiring correction. I deeply regret referring my sister because I made that recommendation before I fully understood what was happening with my own project. The situation with my own bathroom became even more serious when the City became involved. A stop-work order and corrective-action requirements were issued, and I was informed that my home was considered uninhabitable and presented a fire risk. I have now been out of my home for almost eight months because of the condition of my property. Another major concern was the permitting. My entire bathroom was demolished, yet the permit submitted to the City represented the work as "like-for-like." The actual condition and scope of the work became a significant issue when the City inspected the project and required corrective action. I paid Green Leaf $22,750 and was left with incomplete and deficient work requiring substantial additional repairs. I have photographs, permits, inspection records, communications, payment records, and other documentation supporting my experience. Documentation is everything. Take pictures, document conversations, keep receipts, get everything in writing, verify permits, and monitor the project closely. Don't let five-star reviews be the only thing you consider. Check Yelp and the BBB, ask for references, verify the contractor's license and bond, and ask to see actual completed work. CSLB does not generally disclose individual complaint details to consumers, so do your own research and look beyond the licensing record. Also check the contractor's bond amount before signing. If the bond is less than the amount you are paying or the potential cost of your project, understand that the bond may not cover all of your losses if something goes wrong. Green Leaf may disagree with my account. That is why I have kept photographs and documentation of the actual work and the condition in which my home was left. Green Leaf, you said you didn't know who I was. Let me reintroduce myself--not with words, but with the photographs and documentation showing the actual work and the condition in which my home was left. I am sharing my experience because I want to bring awareness and help other homeowners protect themselves. Homeowners need to speak up and expose bad practices, so others have the opportunity to make informed decisions before trusting a contractor with their home. needed some work done. gave them my information (big mistake). estimators showed up an hour late and after informing them that if they can't even show up on time, their services weren't needed here. as one of them was leaving he flicked a cigarette onto my lawn. !Ever since giving them my information They are obviously selling my information because I've been receiving 4-5 calls from random home improvement companies for the last 2 months! UPDATE: since posting this review, someone from Green Leaf came by our house to talk while we were out of town and left a message at our door. I didn't reach out. We just had another gentleman come by today, Danny. He was very professional and polite. He let me know that they took my review very seriously and that after looking into it, the company had let go of that rep who had lied to us and tried to upsell at an insane rate. He explained that the company wants to make sure we knew they respected our time and offered to compensate us for the inconvenience and offered a check. I couldn't accept it, as it's not the company's fault for one bad rep, though I appreciated the offer. If you do need any service that Green Leaf can offer, I recommend getting a quote as it seems like our experience was an exception to how they run their business. read more

I requested a quote for pool replastering. The so called project manager gave me a quote of 39k+, IF I qualified for their program and/or incentives. 42k+ if I didn't. At those prices, why not get a newer pool. The very first thing I expressed to this guy, was for him to not bullshit me. Needless to say, that's the very first thing he did. He wanted to sell me sod for the front yard. At no point did I mention I wanted a quote for sod. I kept my composure and politely expressed i would give them an answer soon. I received a follow-up call and I expressed to them I wasn't interested because of the integrity. They apologized to me and said it was a "new" guy who was sent out to give me the quote. I don't fucking care! Even after expressing that I wanted nothing to do with them and that I was NOT interested, their solicitors continue to call me at all hours of the day, under different numbers. So FUCK these assumes! Take a moment to think about who you give your information to. They WILL call you, laugh at you when you tell them to stop calling you, and will continue to do so.
