The place was busy and yes we were a big table but still not great and the waitress struggled to say Cab Sav. Honestly if you're in an Italian joint you should know the wines. I had veal cannelloni, it was way too salty. I will say the pizza looked and smelled amazing! Everyone that had it was super satisfied. If I was to go back for sure that is what I would have. I wouldnt say its bad, it wasnt but I am in no rush to go back

Fantastic. Atmosphere. Service. Food. Everything here sets a good night…read more It is classy inside without being too formal. Seating is comfortable. I like the dark wood and there was a gorgous tree for the Holiday season that added to a romantic and classic atmosphere. I am sure that anything on the menu here is good but we always stick to the pizzas. Amazing crust. And they balance the toppings like a symphony. Each bite has the perfect combo in your mouth. We sampled two The Godfather and the Cappricio. Both were excellent. My husband liked The Godfather because of the meat ratio but I was equally happy with mine. Although to be honest the best pizza for me is Dante's Inferno if you like spice. Service was friendly and prompt. Defeinately a place to check out. I love thin crust pizza and I think this is my favourite price point compared to say Rosso. Not much to look on in the outside but lots to discover on the inside.

The Tom Kha Gai was quite good and definitely worth the value. The braised duck also stood out: the meat tasted like it was marinated before (perhaps in salt water) to give it a bit more of a firmness and flavour and the curry complemented it well. This texture and flavour is less common in Edmonton from my experience so it's worth a try. The Thai Green Curry and the coconut rice was quite bland though...so I'd rate them 7.8/10

This place has been on my 'to-go' list for over 8 years, and I finally made the commitment to come…read morehere! I say 'commitment', as it's located in a small street mall with a limited number of other businesses in a relatively industrial area of Mill Woods, so one would have very little reason to drive by this place (unless you work or live in the area). There is ample parking as the street mall parking lot was very empty, even on a Saturday evening. The restaurant itself is quite small and has a cozy modern atmosphere with cute decor and a brick wall. There were ~7-8 tables that seat 4 people each, but some of the tables can be put together for larger groups. To start, we ordered their Real Crab Meat Rangoon: crab meat with cream cheese wrapped in wonton wrappers and deep fried. It sounded delicious, but left us a little disappointed as it didn't taste much like crab or cream cheese for that matter. We also felt that they were overfried, as the wrappers were quite crisp and the filling had dried out, likely owing to the rangoons being under-stuffed. I can imagine this being an amazing appetizer if they upped the amount of stuffing they put into the wrapper. We also ordered their Thai Green Curry to share; we were worried this wouldn't be enough for the two of us, but combined with the appetizer, the portion of this dish was enough to fill both of us up! We were extremely impressed with the green curry; it had just the right balance of sweet and spicy. I do wish it came with a little more variety of vegetables though, such as eggplants and basil/spinach. Overall, so happy I finally made the trip out here and looking forward to coming back for more!

Full of bright colours and interesting mural and interesting art all over. Seating isn't exactly comfortable but otherwise a fun plae to dine. Menu is fantastic. There are so many things to try. They have appitizers, tacos, street food, and larger mains. Be sure to check out the dessert display case. We didn't have the room for dessert but it looks amazing. Oh and there is a plentiful drink menu. Ceviche was on special and I love that so we ordered it. It contained cubed wite fish marinated in lime juice, and mixxed with pico de Gallo and tooped with avocado. It ws served with tortilla chips. It was fresh and delicious. I would order this again. My husband went with the enchilada suizas which w was 3 tortillas filled with shredded chicken baked in salsa verde. It was rich, filling , and tasty. I ordered the plato de la abuela wich had a bit of everything. It contained rice, beans, potatoes, tortillas and you can pick your filling. I went with fish and beef. Massive portions and it was really tasty too. i especially like the fish filling. I had leftovers for the next day. IF you are indecive this is a good way to go. Service was in general good, except when it was time for the bill. I had to ask repeatily. Worth trying!

The last review was 6 years ago ???? Why is that ?? No one eats here anymore???…read moreEvery time I drove by here , the parking lot isn't full ( is that why they say plenty of parking? Apparently this restaurant has been at the same location since it opened..some time in the late 70's with a new owner in the 80s who still owns it ! I took a shot today and decided to try them out . And called for take out Dinner for 1 with a side order of onion cakes. . I mean you gotta have those with dinner first choice: egg roll or spring rolls. Second choice wonton or sweet and sour soup Third ginger beef or szechuan shrimp. Outside , the restaurant is on the corner of a strip mall and looks very dated . Inside it is a bit inviting but the hostess / cashier desk is tucked in the corner . My order wasn't quite ready so I peaked into the dining room ( lots of empty tables for a 6 pm on a Saturday night). I noticed they had a buffet table in the middle of the room.. I asked if they still offer it . No.. they stopped it..4 YEARS AGO !! I guess they like the reminder ??? The hostess was a lovely girl but watching her literally run to the kitchen to get my order was kind of funny considering they weren't busy . My order arrived $23.25 . Once home I unpacked everything.. Spring rolls were good Onion cakes were still slightly raw in the middle The soup was in a very small container ( the ones you'd use for a single gravy order ) but it was good . The main entree was in one container. .. lots of rice and vegetables.. about 6 or 7 pieces of ginger beef. Overall. Not a lot of food for what others give and the taste is kind of bland . Even the beef tasted like it was premade frozen and then heated . No taste at all .Not great overall .. I'd get more food though from a shopping mall food court to be honest . I have had orders from other chinese restaurants and had more quantity and better quality . If you had a choice.. but d recommend another Chinese place.. one just west on Whyte Ave .. it's SWEET !

I find Chinese food to be a little to heavy for me most of the time - my intestines and really oily food aren't the best of friends.... But there are a few tasty exceptions amongst the buffet spread available here, such as fried rice (can't go wrong there), wonton soup (tasty as always), and little jello-thing desserts The exterior is a little worse for wear, but I found the interior decor to be quiet stunning, with their intricate decorative wall panels and artistic centrepieces. It looked much nicer inside than out, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were also really good with removing our finished plates and topping up our drinks frequently, as well as keeping the buffet area clean.

I got the classic Nashville sandwich with fries and a drink. The ultra flame is incredibly spicy ,( I asked if anyone has ordered it..she said not yet ). I like spicy but I also want to taste my food. The ladies there were outgoing and easy to talk to while i waited . Not long and i was out the door. Got home and opened the container . Good size portion fries. The chicken in my sandwich was a perfect size and tasted amazing . So what's a Nashville classic? What's on it. Chicken breast, coleslaw , pickles and comeback sauce ( no idea what that even means ). It was delicious though. BTW it's across the street from sweet mango ( if you attended that yelp event , you'll know where it is ) in the strip mall. Orders are made fresh upon ordering ( not sitting in some hot box ) .
