This place is great; there's plenty of signage when you're coming into the area, so it's impossible to miss. True to the reviews, they came out with a clipboard and helped me unload materials from my car, including a TV! The entire process took just a few minutes from start to finish. Thank you for making everything so easy and straightforward! read more

I been cleaning out my storage office. I needed a place to get rid of all my old electronic equipment. This place was the closest. You just pull up and someone comes out to check the items to make sure that there's no hazardous items. Then you just put everything in a giant bin. Took me five minutes and I was done read more

I have been here several times to dispose of ewaste. Each time has been easy and hassle free. No appointments needed. You can get out of your car and hand items the workers. Compared to other San Jose recycle center where your supposed to stay in your car while some random person takes things from your trunk without any idea what their doing in your trunk makes the 10X better. read more

Quick no-nonsense service convenient to my location in the Bay Area. They do a thorough survey of your needs before execution. Solid customer service. Highly recommend. read more

Quick and easy to recycle the junk you've had lying around the house for years. Just pull up to a parking spot and someone with a clipboard will come out to take of you. I really wish I had visited them sooner! read more

No issues in finding the plane and the lady came right away to my auto to see what I had and gave me a quote. But it was pricey. I had a ceiling fan which was $15 and couple of light fixtures which were $6/pound. Light fixtures were 6 lbs, which came to $24. So my total was $39. read more

Amazing place to recycle ewaste. We also use their services to destroy hard drives and ensure the security of our digital footprint. They help disassemble the harddrives from the devices (laptops, external drives etc) and they'll physically shred the drive in front of you. The people are very friendly and are very easy to work with. Most of all their prices for special services like hard-drive shredding is very very reasonable. read more

Had two flat panel TVs for recycling. They unloaded both from the car and after quickly completing a short form I was on my way. Entire process took less than five minutes from the time I arrived. Convenient and efficient place for recycling e-waste. read more

Quick, easy, friendly crew and it was completely free! I would recommend using this company.

No hassle and friendly. The web site lists of what can be taken here for free vs. a small fee are descriptive and helpful. Great place to responsibly get rid of old electronics. read more

Great place to drop off your unwanted electronics FOR FREE. They take almost everything so just give a call to check. They were super nice and helped us move everything out of the car too! *I believe it's 3 pieces per household a day but if you just bring another person with an id that has a different address you can drop off 6 pieces in one trip :) read more

We had to move out of our office and had *years* of IT equipment to clear out. A co-worker recommended us Green Ewaste and we quickly got in touch with William. He was super responsive and provided us with lots of heavy duty boxes for us to place our used networking and computer stuff. When they were filled, his crew came to pick them up with new empty boxes. Finally when we had to clean out the server room, Green Ewaste came over and helped us pull out all the heavy ancient switches and servers! They even removed an old Harris PBX the size of a small golf cart without complaint. All kinds of PCs, printers, networking cables, switches and stuff, they took them all. Almost as easy and pointing a finger.... The whole time, William was on top of it and at the end he provided us with a disposal certificate. Definitely made the process of cleaning out all our e-waste a painless experience. read more

Very friendly staff and they take almost everything for free. I don't think I have every been charged for anything but if you have questions you can call and they are always extremely helpful! They told me I was the first customer at their new location! I've included some pictures to help you find them. They are located at 1664 Watson Court in Milpita's. Watson does not currently have a street sign. Once you turn on the street you just head down to the end of the court in in the driveway you'll see a little small sign with an arrow pointing to the left that says e-waste on it. Once you turn left and just head to the end of the driveway and you'll see the big truck. Note - these guys used to be at 2127 Monterey Rd in San Jose. They moved in late February 2018.. just a few days ago read more

Very convenient to drop off a TV. The employee was friendly. One thing I feel a bit strange is that they request to make a copy of my driver license; which seems to be a bit overkill. read more

Close to our place which is convenient, the person working there approch me quickly, took my tv, processed the paperwork appropriately and explained why they need your information. Otherwise, it was easy get in/out. Thanks Green E-waste! read more

I came here to drop off few printers that I want to safely disposed. The location is "hidden" inside a business complex, but not too challenging to find, and they have signs posted around the business complex to lead you to the right place. The staff are very friendly and courteous, no hassle and no fee for drop off. Thanks Green E-Waste! read more

When you live in one place for over 10 years, you start to accumulate a lot of stuff... and quickly realize this needs to go to an e-waste place. Since we're moving, it's time for us to get rid of this stuff! Oddly enough, I found this place from a flyer I received from my doctor, (because I need to dispose syringes) and found this on the website at the bottom of the flyer. Bonus word here is FREE disposal! Sweet! Not the easiest place to find, (look at pictures so you know which parking lot to pull in) and then drive ALL THE WAY to the back. Last garage on the left. Helpful staff, quick and painless, they are so fast with taking your e-waste out of the car, you would think it's on fire. read more

Wow, these guys work hard. They will unload you car for you when you come with stuff to recycle. Make sure you check their website first -- or you may bring things they charge extra to take. Piece of cake, totally painless. Great that these old electronics are going to be recycled in the proper fashion. As a matter of fact, I'm just about to go load up the car with much more to go drop off! read more

Great experience with the team at Green E-waste Recycling. They picked up a large quantity of ewaste from my company. They were very responsive to my request, on time, professional and friendly. read more

I got a 42" broken screen Tv and a small glass one sitting in my garage for 3 weeks. Finally I got time to get rid of them. I searched on line for a place that recycles broken tvs and opens on weekend, this place is open and they will accept them for free. The staff was friendly and he took the heavy TVs out from my car into the warehouse by himself. Also they accept old laptops, CDs, toners and printers, for free. You should definitely visit this place if you have any old electronics sitting around... It's free and couldn't be simpler, I came in and out in 2 minutes without get my hands dirty. read more

Potential Identity Theft Victim I went there today to drop off 2 TV's and the guy wanted to make a copy of my Drivers License. Im not recycling aluminum or copper just TV's, so there is no way im going to let him make a copy. I went to another e-waste recycler on Race Street and they only wanted my name, address and number; didn't need to see my identification. Next time I will just wait for my kids schools recycling fundraiser. read more

The location was hard to find, when I used google maps. I finally found it. It's hidden in the back, behind some other shops. The workers were very helpful. I just opened my trunk and they unloaded so quickly. Now that I know where they are I will be back. Drop off was free, and I didn't have to lift a finger. read more

No muss, no fuss. Hope all that old stuff finds some use somewhere. . . just follow the several small red lettered signs, which are admittedly a bit less than obvious, all the way to the back of the parking lot. read more

I had an older Sony Trinitron 32" HD ready TV (tube type), which still worked perfectly, but at 255 lbs, was a bear to move around. Since we have updated our family TV to a flat screen there was no need for this set. Because of the weight, this unit is impossible to sell or give away. I found this company online and planned to deliver to TV to their site. It took my 2 boys and myself to move the TV out of the house and onto my pickup truck (1/2 hour). Once I went to their site, it took a matter of 30 seconds for them to place a pallet on their forklift and align it to the level of the truck bed with the hinged door down. It took 2 buys a few seconds to push the TV onto the pallet, and the donation to the recycling center was complete. These guys were fantastic and very pleasant and polite. I would recommend this business highly to anyone who has any electronics to dispose of. It was really easy, and no appointment is required if brought during their normal business hours (Monday - Saturday). read more

Fast easy friendly process. So happy that they took all my old CD's and their plastic jewel cases. Unlike some other so-called Green recycling companies in the area they actually took them. And best of all, no fees! Can't get better than that. Save the planet. Come here to properly recycle your e-stuff. read more

Yay. Perfectly easy to discard my e-waste. No fees. No hassle. Just pure customer service.

I normally don't really like to judge or gives review but this place has safe my parents life. I didn't know what to do with their old electronics, just keep piling up in their garage. I found this place when I drove to their house couple weeks ago. I dropped off all their old electronics and they took everything. Their employees are so kind and helpful too, they didn't make me feel like I'm giving them junks. read more

Great service. Helpful, quick & efficient. But be prepared to pay $.50/lb. for anything over 40 lbs. & not on the 'free' items list. We ended up paying $90 to dispose of primarily surround sound speakers. Ouch! Be sure to read the entire list on the website. read more

I had two printers, a desktop, and a laptop for recycle. Finding the place is a bit of a trick since they are at the back of a series of buildings next to The Plant; however, by the time I popped the trunk, they had the items out quickly and I was back on the street in less than 5 minutes. Very good service. read more

I highly recommend using the Green E-waste Recycling Center. I called on Thursday for my company and they were prompt to pick up on Friday. The driver met me at the loading dock and took everything we had stored for an E-Waste pick up and there was no charge to pick up everything. read more

I can't get over how easy this company made it to recycle e-waste. I was looking for someone to pickup. As of this post, they will come pick up with 5 or more qualified items otherwise there's generally a service fee. I would have been fine paying. Other companies that offer pick up would charge anyway. This company suggested talking with neighbors to combine items to waive the fee. I rounded up family and we easily accumulated a lot of stuff! Now all our houses are just a bit more uncluttered (yay!). All the staff I interacted with (email, phone, then pick up) were super nice and helpful. read more

William is a great guy. He and his colleagues are very helpful. Strongly recommend! https://gerecycle.com/.

The staff there is awesome, especially if your a woman and your alone. They are a family owned business and they treat their returning recyclers very well. The men flock to help any dame in need of assistance upon pulling into the parking area, even when they aren't asked to do so. Today, I had 2 guys do all the work for me and my hands didn't even have to get dirty. Normally I wear gloves, but still I was very pleased with my service. read more
