I've been going to Ranchtown Recycling in Willow Glen on Lincoln Avenue for many years. I've owned…read moremy heating and cooling company for over 26 years, and whenever I have old furnaces, copper evaporator coils, scrap metal, or other materials to get rid of, this is the place I go to. What I really like is how easy they make the whole process. I simply pull up, unload everything, and they take care of the rest. Yes, I know I could probably make extra money selling some of the metal separately, but honestly, the convenience, service, and professionalism here make it worth it for me. They also recycle aluminum cans, bottles, and many other materials, and they pay customers for recyclables. It's a family-owned business, and I've known the owners and their father for a long time. Good people, hardworking, and always respectful. Just a heads up -- it can get busy at times because a lot of people come here to recycle and cash in their materials, which says a lot about the business itself. I found Valley Services on Yelp, they answered the phone and said they were open. All the employees were friendly, the driveway was clean (hate getting a nail in a tire) and the price seemed reasonable! We'll definitely return with our next load from our remodeling project. P.S. And after all the bins we filled we only received a little money back due to not clearly communicating with us the separation process. We turned in to this place, there is plenty of parking which is a huge plus compared to the other place. It wasn't clear where to get the large bins to place the recycling items, but a super sweet lady saw I was a bit lost so she told me the bins are in the back. We walked back there, grabbed a few bins back to the car and separated out each type of recyclable. Plastics in one, aluminum cans in another, and glass in another. Then we brought the bins to the employee to weigh the bins. The one working today is super friendly. He put each bin on a different scale. Then indicated to the lady at the stand it was ready for her to take the weight from each bin. She asked for a drivers license and then proceeded to give me a receipt. She was super sweet as well. After we grabbed our receipt, we walked to the ATM area and scanned the bar code on the receipt. The ATM took a little time to process, but soon it popped out the cash and then on top the change. As we were leaving the exit, it was a bit hard to see the cars and many were driving pretty quick so it's harder to leave. Overall, It was a super easy process. We will definitely be back.

I walked in and there was a guy staring me down. I asked if he worked there and he shook his head, so I was just thinking "why are you staring at me then?" I continued on and went to the desk. A few minutes later, someone asked me if that was my van parked in the neighboring business' parking lot. I said yeah and they aggressively started telling me to move it. Three guys and the owner of the business next door. I didn't know that I couldn't park there, every other parking space was full. The lady at the desk and I told them that I was on my way out. Two of the guys started yelling, "no, you have to move it now!" I shook my head because I was literally on my way out in two minutes after the payment was processed and I had been there for three minutes. They kept aggressively yelling, saying that I wouldn't be allowed back. I told them that I don't plan to come back. The lady at the desk then started yelling back at them at the top of her lungs to leave me alone, that I was a new customer and on my way out. As I was walking out, they were yelling at me trying to pick a fight. This place is dangerous.

I tested the fan and it worked. But upon getting home, it wouldn't work. I called Dawn and told her the issue. She said she would take care of me on Tuesday. I went in Tuesday to get access to the original car. it was already pulled out and accessible. But what they did next shocked me. They already pulled the part for me. Now, I doubt this is normal business practice but I was very pleasantly surprised when my part was already pulled for me.
