Been having Jessie come out to fix the sprinklers for years. Always done professionally with integrity. He's great and it's a family business so I dig supporting that. read more

I highly recommend Green Edge Sprinklers!! Jesse is very professional knowledgeable, responsive and SUPER honest! So great to find a company I could trust to do quality work for reasonable pricing that would not try to sell me anything that I didn't actually need. I've been using Green Edge Sprinklers for several years. LOVE THEM! Would not go anywhere else! read more

Great experience with Jesse. He showed up on time. Diagnosed the issues with our sprinklers quickly. Was upfront and clear on pricing and what our various options were. Fixed everything quickly and was nice to work with. He will be our go to sprinkler guy from now on. read more

Jessie diagnosed our sprinkler issue as a broken valve. Fixed it on the spot. Very happy with price and thorough handling resolving my sprinkler problem and identifying some sprinkler heads which were put back in the proper direction. Added to my project, to wind my outside pipes with new insulation, and took the time to find our buried cut off for future use in winterizing the sprinkler system. Highly recommend. read more

Called to have sprinkler winterized and they were kind enough to walk me through the steps for me to do it myself. They could have just come out and charged me but this speaks volumes to their integrity that they were willing to help over the phone for free. read more

I can't recommend Jesse. He's simply too expensive, seems to think his rates are on a par with plumbers. I had a line break and he (finally) came out to fix it (a week later, thank goodness it rained in the meantime). The work to replace the line (cut at each end and replace, glue) and wait for it to dry took an hour. How much for this? $210! There was no line-item break-down either, simply $210 written at the bottom of the invoice. When I asked him to break it down, he didn't - simply said it's all lumped in there. However, my biggest complaint is that he argued with me on the phone. He doesn't seem to realize that customer service is the most important part of running a business. I genuinely felt that $210 was way too much and let him know that. He took offense at my tone and suggested that I do it myself if I didn't like his rates. That was the unacceptable part. His work is good, yes, and that's why this is so disappointing. I can't use him again - I don't feel that he wants to work with me, he simply is out to make as much money as he can, and screw what the customers think of this. I gave him some time to let me have a discount while we were talking, but he never mentioned it, hence this review. It's my last recourse. Jesse, it's not plumbing, it's plastic 2" pipes... read more

When is the last time a service person showed up on time, fixed your problem, and then sent you a "Thank You" card for your business? Don't believe it???? Try Jesse Engebretsen at Greenedge Sprinklers (it's his business and he's the guy who shows up). I had an emergency repair needed on my home irrigation system, and contacted 3 irrigation system specialists. Jesse was the most responsive, showed up exactly when he said he would, fixed my problem in no time flat, and even showed me how to relieve the pressure in my system in advance of the cold weather. This is exactly the kind of old fashioned service we should all expect to get, but are so often disappointed. Give him a try. read more

Let me paint a picture of my situation: hubby and I buy our first house and the outside needs a ton of work. I'm talking jungle-esque overgrown trees and bushes EVERYWHERE plus a bonus giant rotting gazebo in the back yard. We just spent all of our money on the house, so what do we do? We get on our work gloves and do a complete overhaul of the back. We even did the sprinkler system in the back ourselves. The whole project took months. Hot, sweaty, anger-inducting, back-breaking, dirty, horrible months...and we didn't even attempted the front. All I could do at the end of that project was thank the Lord that we hadn't killed each other out of frustration or the misuse of a chainsaw. So we finally get around to putting plants and new sod in the front yard. There hadn't been plants out there in a long time so I guess we didn't notice that the sprinklers out there were complete garbage too - everything started to wilt and die. Luckily we took to Yelp and found Green Edge. We had Jesse come over, he sent us a drawing with an estimate and we haven't looked back since. His guys showed up on time and were done in less than 1 day. I guess I wouldn't have been that impressed since he had an army of people after all, but when I got home I could hardly even tell that they had dug up our entire front yard! They put the sod/dirt back just like they had found it! THAT, my friends, is quality work. He even checked our now 2-year-old job done in the back yard and made some adjustments for us. I would highly recommend this company because of Jesse's professionalism, knowledge, fair prices, and for the great work that he and his guys did at our house. read more

Jesse installed a new sprinkler system for us back in October 2013 shortly after we purchased our home here in Houston. He was very informative as to the process and how I could maximize my dollars and lawn care. I have since had him back out for regular services, sprinklers heads taken out by cars, and post-pool remodel alterations. He has always been timely, professional, and thorough. I would recommend him for all sprinkler matters. Update: 12/03/2016 i have changed my review from 4 to 5 stars. I have continued to have Green Edge Sprinklers maintain my system. Jesse is honest, punctual, and delivers quality service on every visit. 3 years and counting. read more

I wish I could give this guy 10 stars!!!! We noticed water in our front yard and under our house and weren't sure if it was plumbing or sprinkler related. One plumber told us it looked sprinkler related (which we found hard to believe). We called Jesse at 9:30 pm at night and he called back within minutes. He took the time and talked with us to explain to us how to turn off the necessary valves in the meantime until he could come out. Originally he was booked up for a few days, but understanding the urgency of our situation, he did his best to fit us in the next day. He was amazing about communicating in the morning when he was done with each of his other jobs and letting us know when he thought he would be making it so that I could feel some relief that he would be coming. He came by 10:30 am that day!!! When he came to the house, he tested the sprinkler system and it was not the problem. But he dug around a little just to see what was going around and found the leak within 10 minutes! He even started taking out the water that was building up around the leak and flowing out from under the house and stopped the water from flowing out the leak until the plumber could come out. There was a LOT of water and he worked diligently to start getting that water out to try to make it easier for the plumber to work. How awesome is that?!? He is also an honest guy! Overall, we were extremely pleased with his responsiveness, timeliness, and his competency! We are going to definitely keep him on hand for our sprinkler system needs. Jesse is great!!! read more

Great job...zero problems. It's like having your own full time company that only services you!!!!

GREAT experience with Jesse Engebretson, owner of Green Edge Sprinklers. I called in the morning and he showed up later that afternoon. I appreciated the fact that both on the phone and in person, Jesse carefully listened to me as I explained what had been going on with our sprinkler system. After hearing from me, he offered his assessment and fixed the problem. Afterwards, he was happy to stay longer to make sure that the rest of our system was in proper working order (adjusted sprinkler heads, changed filters, added a rain sensor, etc.) and then put the system "to bed" for the winter. Also wanted to say that I was really impressed with the way Jesse worked with and spoke to John - guy who assisted Jesse throughout job. Top-notch interaction - respectful, collaborative and friendly. Highly recommend Jesse Engebretson and Green Edge Sprinklers!! read more

Great company, Jesse was outstanding in the work they performed for us. Started out as a possible major job and it turned into a major job, which they handled skillfully and professionally. They were booked up for weeks but we waited for them because we heard how good they were and we are now grateful that we waited. read more

Jessie was an excellent communicator. He fixed my broken valve and evaluated the entire sprinkler system, which included replacing some non-functioning sprinkler heads. Very professional, reasonable price. read more

I can't say enough about Jesse. You talk about integrity and kindness...he is all of these things. He has been working with our sprinklers for about 6 years now. I recently recommended him to a neighbor and was blown away to receive a HANDWRITTEN thank you note!!! I have not received a handwritten note from any service provider, or company, except when we bought our car!! He came in the middle of the day and I was called away...he allowed me to mail the check and just treated me like I was a member of his family. I trust his work and he is worth every penny. read more

We are very satisfied with the work that was completed, it was done in a timely manner and the job site was left very clean. I will definitely be using Jesse again. read more

They do a fantastic job! They are now my go to sprinkler company. Highly recommend! They we're on time and reasonable priced too.

Jesse and his crew are top notch--professional, timely, and honest. He installed our sprinkler a few years ago, and we have him check the system every year to make adjustments. He can work with very odd shaped yards and numerous flower beds. He did a great job making sure our gardens were also tied together. Thank you, Jesse! read more

Jessie came and fixed my super broken sprinkler system. It was a huge job!! Everything that could have been broken was. Only 3 of my 9 zones came on! It took all day but he got our sprinkler working properly. Not the cheapest but definitely quality work! read more

Great work by Jesse... Pleased with all of his service on our yard.

Discovered them on Yelp and they super........Jesse is efficient, competent and fair.....as is his staff. He swiftly figured out my system which was installed by another long ago.....and effected the needed repairs. I later got on the learning curve with a WiFi enabled sprinkler controller and Jesse added this knowledge to his services. He went farther than the extra mile in troubleshooting a problem created by my 'handyman'. read more

Green Edge Sprinklers was found via a zip code search on the BBB. Rita in the office is a great communicator. Jesse comes out with team and hustles until the end. The quote sounded a bit high but I know I often get what I pay for. What I got was a job well done and the extra mile that was not discussed. Time for a thank you postcard shows that time is available for anything that you make for it. Green Edge Sprinklers is not in the just-get-it-done business. We'll be calling again. Regards. read more

I highly recommend GreenEdge! Jesse addressed all the problems and now my flowers beds are happy. He showed up on time and did the work in a timely manner. He is very professional. I would not trust my sprinkler system to anyone else. Thanks GreenEdge. read more

I can't say I recommend Jesse. He came on time, and did his job well. We had a leak in the sprinkler. But the bill was very high for only an hour work on a simple leak. Now half a year later we had a leak again, I called another company, they did it for half the price (no kidding) and gave lots of advice. The difference between the two companies was striking... read more

They did a great job repairing our pressure vacuum breaker and were very professional and friendly. Will definitely use again.

Jesse got to our house early and fixed the problem within 20 mins! We were very pleased with the service. He even showed us how to set up our timer (since the previous owner didn't leave us the manual). And then a few days later we got a thank you car in the mail. Coudn't be happier! We had a leak in our sprinkler system that was flowing water down the entire street and Jesse came out within hours.
