If you want to support a local business... you go to local store in Monticello to buy an appliance…read more The show room is nothing special it's not exactly elegant but again you're trying to support local business. The salesman is maybe a few notches below a car salesman in his demeanor and his honesty. You're being assured that you're getting the best price best deal I'm not shopping at a big box store with the appliances as good as the ones that you would buy in his shop. You ask him..."which one would you buy and put in your home" he sells you a model and assured you you've gotten a great deal. Nice as can be. You get your purchase and you realize that you've bought a piece of garbage not only is it a piece of garbage that breaks within a month. When you call him he never called you back, you look online to see if you can figure out why your doors keep shifting and find out the real shifting went on when you purchased it because there was a $200 rebate that he never told you about it when you try to apply for it you were told that it went to the dealer will you purchase the appliance from. So not only we ripped off for a crappy all plastic piece of garbage Appliance you have also been ripped off for your rebate. After two years most of the inside is broken the ice machine doesn't work you gave up trying to call the "owner/salesman" and vowed to never walk in the store again. That was my experience with Appliance city in Monticello New York. Buyer beware! Maybe you don't like Home Depot but you're better off there. If you really want service and accountability try Michael's in Middletown.

The store itself is huge with wide variety of products including athletic and casual apparels, shoes, bags, socks, hats, caps, sports accessories, and so much more. Products vary in prices but a lot of them have good discounts, up to 40%. There's huge wall at the back where they put up the shoes that have additional discounts. Over the years, I have been to this store many times to purchase t-shirts, shots, shoes, and any other Nike product that got my attention. Most recently we went to buy shoes for our daughter. I was surprised to see they had many good shoes for kids too. The stock of sizes were also excellent. On multiple occasions we were able to find shoes between 11K - 13K sizes. The prices were excellent, as most of them had original price of $55+, but with discounts they were under $35. The store is generally crowded and messy. There are plenty associates who work at the store at all times, yet it's difficult to keep the store tidy. Checkouts usually have 4-6 registers open, yet there's often long lines, wait time between 5-15 minutes. Despite some of the minor issues, shoppers love this Nike store.

Inside, you can find a very large men's sneaker section, a moderate sized women's section and a smaller size kids section. Deals are actually not that bad, although you do have to realize that many of these shoes are made for the outlet, there aren't many mainstream versions of sneakers that you can find on discount here. Some of the shoes are mislabeled and so checking out with those gets to be a little bit problematic as it can take a while for the associates to get someone to run back and check the SKU.

I bought 2 candles plus an absolutely heavenly smelling lavender pouch. One of the candles, Green Haus, smells like you have been gardening all day. The other candle is called Homebody and I love it too, but it smells like apples and cloves- definitely an autumn scent. I have an issue with fragrances and most candles give me a headache and sinus pain. These don't so if you are sensitive to chemicals and fragrance you should give these a try. The owner was really helpful in suggestions but not pushy at all. I will definitely return.
