The location is pretty small and usually busy unless you know when to go like we do. ;) This place always hits. We've been going here since 2020 before COVID hit... and this has been the most consistent spot for us. We always get their chicken and lamb gyros and their chicken and rice. We prefer the regular naan rather than their garlic naan. The garlic naan always ends up more burnt than we'd like. Before, we used to order their mixed grill. We don't as much anymore but it's still a good option. If they had a point system, I'm sure we could have gotten something free at this point by how much we go. Lol. We live 10 minutes away so we always call ahead. Never had any problems with our orders. And now that we have a 2 year old, she loves this spot too. She eats the naan with her chicken and rice and is always satisfied like us!!!! Truly the place to go. Can't recommend it enough.

The seats were a bit dodgy, but there were other people eating in. They had a wide North Indian menu, but I went straight for the house specials. I asked for their house dal at a high spice level. They expressed some skepticism. The end result made my nose run a little bit, but I doubt it was the spiciest food they could make. It did have a robust herbal flavor and a mouthwatering mix of lentils. My onion and chili naan was fresh and crisp. The chili soy chunk appetizer I ordered ended up being a bit excessive, but I was able to down the leftovers later. A tea that I asked for unsweetened had a strong cardamom note. I wouldn't suggest the average New Yorker that they need to head out here for Indian, but for those near the airport, the food is of enough quality that I wasn't disappointed.

I really liked the Papdi Chaat appetizer we got--very strong flavor and crispy. The Karachi Keema Paratha (bread stuffed with spiced ground lamb) was also very flavorful and spicier than I expected. It seems like I was just eating a dish filled with sauce and few pieces of chicken inside it. We got one order of garlic and rosemary naan which was already cut up in quarter pieces.
