That is the reason I decided to call them. When I called for an estimate, Sharone Tal, the owner, came later that same day. He spent time with me and explained the process of what needed to be done to provide me with a new roof. Even before I hired him, I asked a myriad of questions via email. He always answered thoroughly and promptly, in writing and by telephone, which elevated him in my mind as giving the best customer service. I was hoping he would earn the bid in the end, and he did! As compared to other roofers, Green Apple Roofing delivered the same quality products and warrantees as other companies, at a much better price. They also accommodated three special requests, at no extra charge. Sharone the owner is a straight-forward, knowledgeable, and honest businessman. He oversaw my roofing job from start to finish, making sure that I was happy with each aspect of it. Although I took the extra time to compare numerous bids and understand everything about the roofing job I was getting, Sharone was always patient with me. In fact, he respected my right to know exactly what I was paying for, which, as a woman who knew nothing about roofing before this process started, I greatly appreciated. I'd already gotten three estimates, but I decided to call anyway. I'm so glad I did!! He returned my call immediately and made an appointment for the very next day. My home is small, but there are a ton of odd roofing angles and strange pitches that were not handled well in the past. He pointed out all the weak spots (most of which I was already aware!), making sure every issue was addressed and answering all of my questions. I received my estimate the next morning and the price was extremely reasonable for the high-quality work he delivers. Plus, his 10-year warranty (included!) is DOUBLE what some roofers offer! What truly stood out was the level of care that Ron brought to my project. He treated my home as if were his own. The work was completed swiftly and meticulously, with no shortcuts -- just solid, top-tier, craftsmanship. Bottom line: Ron went above and beyond the call of duty for me and my crazy little house. The owner came over 2 hours later, climbed on the roof and took the measurements all while it was raining. We agreed on a great price and 3 days later when we had the only sunny day he replaced the whole roof. Great job and the work quality is excellent. He even went above and beyond by replacing 10 sheets of rotten plywood, installing new flashing on a leaking window, added flashing to my chimney and even placed new chimney caps for me. We needed a roof replacement and called this company to have someone come out to give a quote…read more They responded quickly with the quote which was provided in an Instant message. It was the first quote I received and I was waiting to receive a couple more quotes. Within a day someone followed up with a call telling me they could start the next day. I explained I was waiting for another quote and asked if they could send a proper proposal in an email. At that point they seemed put off and said if I didn't make a decision in the next couple days they wouldn't be able start for a couple months. After a couple weeks (we weren't desperate) we decided to sign their proposal and had a tentative start date in about 2 months. Two months passed and I was told it would be another month before they could start. After another month we sent an email and they responded it would be another month. After around 7 months they stopped responding to us all together. So we contacted our second choice which was another large outfit. They came out immediately and provided the quote the same day. Completed the work within a week of the proposal. It was a 2 day job. I gave Red Bank Roofing 1 star because I feel generous. But frankly I wouldn't trust them.
