Food was solid. Real Greek place given that they actually have pork gyro. I door dashed one hour before closing. The pork was burned but the lamb and beef were great! Taziki sauce is really thick. The price is ok. The platters bring plenty of food. Will order again! read more

If i could give it 0 stars I would. I picked up 5 trays of catering and while the potatoes and the dip were satisfactory. The salad & the grilled vegetables i would say otherwise. For half a tray of vegetables which in total has maybe 4 vegetables in total was $56!!!! And half a tray of salad was $65!!!! I called to complain and the shift leader Kayla said she doesn't control the prices and can't do anything about it. I had asked if it was enough for 9 people and they said yes i open the tray and i find myself having to cut the vegetable pieces in half. I truly couldn't believe it. Kayla said it's up to our discretion about how much people will eat. There is 4 VEGETABLES in the tray 4! Truly horrible. Will not be ordering here again. read more

Surprised and disappointed. This used to be a go-to place when shopping for me & my family members. Last three times went from not so good to worse to finally inedible and the prices went way up. This time the food was salty burnt and simply bad. The place smelled like a wet mop. The table next to mine complained the hot lemon potato dish was ice cold. And they brought their own sauce with them, knowing this place is cheap with the dressings. That reminded me to change my order from a salad (what's a green salad with no vinegar?) to grilled veggies, which were horrible! Completely black. When I showed the burnt food to the cashiers who were very fake-nice they mockingly blamed me for not ordering correctly as "lightly grilled"?! Because the place was being cleaned while I ate, I took my order, which took from 3pm - 4pm to make, home. As it's a holiday weekend we had guests. So they lost a lot more customers than just me! Everyone there was shocked by: A. How "heavily grilled" the charcoal briquette vegetables were B. How over salted the lentils were and that the hot soup was put in melty plastic C. How little chicken was in the CHICKEN WRAP and instead it was mostly lettuce Listen, at $25 for lunch you can't serve schlock. Sad, this place used to be great. Now they skimp on sauces and dressing (usually leaving it out of the order like they did today) skimp on meat, and clean the place while customers are eating (when there's a lull for the cashiers but not for diners, bc they are too cheap to hire a busboy to do this when there's no one eating and the place is way too small with no ventilation for that). It can be fixed. But sadly, if they are burning and over salting the food like this they're probably skimping on fresh food too, which makes me afraid to go back here. So 1 star off for burnt inedible food 1 star off for smelly restaurant 1 star off for taking an hour to make a chicken wrap 1 star off for being gaslit by the word salad waitress who refused to answer a direct question about the burnt food which was: does it always come blackened now? Don't just take my word for it, look at the pictures and judge for yourself. If you enjoy spending $15 for no chicken and lots of lettuce, $5 for hot liquid salt in hot plastic (who does this?!), and $5 for charcoal veggies then having to go home to eat it and discovering you still need to cook something else bc it's not edible, then this is the place for you. Oh and by the way every other restaurant in the plaza has outdoor tables covered by the terrace so you can have shade when it's hot or be shielded from the rain when you don't feel like having windex sprayed next to your face as you eat, except this place. Outdoor Seating is Stupidly positioned with no cover. So no one ever sits there and they lose half their seating. The time before this I picked up my order and the owner? Or manager? was bragging loudly to the girls behind the register that if anyone ever gave them a hard time not to worry, because he has a gun (?!) and then talked about how horrible the people who live on Staten Island are because they don't like The Clintons. And I thought that would be my worst experience there. Silly me. Who knew my gyro came with a side of firearms and dated politics. I think the main problem with this place is they are understaffed during the very busy lunch special, and when that draws to a close they are burnt out and perhaps a little fried, and simply forget the remaining customers who got their food late are still there. Food fine. Delivery was a nightmare. Delivery guy didn't show up. My roommate called to inquire and the restaurant said that the order had gone out. They use third party. Maybe, he said they left order outside. I told my roommate the order was not outside and the restaurant said that he probably left it at wrong place but he would make it right the next time. What? I called back and said you charged his account and we had no food, that is thievery. He said he would come himself and get it. He came and walked around the building,brought me the food said he was going to refund order and never again deliver to our address! Really? The food is cold (of course) and he was annoyed at me? What an imbecile. My roommate is a crippled old man who can't walk around the neighborhood looking for where the food he ordered was delivered but the restaurant is going to punish him. Don't worry. He will never order from you again and hopefully others will consider this complete lack of correct customer service when they are looking to order. read more

Gyro wrap was dry as hell and I got a side of tzatziki sauce it's my favorite but here is way too thick it was impossible for me to dip my wrap in it my whole wrap fell apart trying also was like $40 for a wrap and a side of sauce small portion too read more

I'm not sure how this place doesn't have more five star reviews. This is my second time eating from there and I usually do takeout and sometimes I'm scared to take out because when I get the food, I know it's gonna be mushy and not this is good but this is not even the case. The location is always clean and service is always impeccable. When I ordered it, the woman at the front counter offered some recommendations and we took her up on that offer. I had the platter for my first time which was absolutely delicious. This time. I wanted to switch it up and I got the grilled chicken platter. With rice and spicy feta. And when I got home, I thought my review would be off because it was been in a container for about 15 minutes. But the container they put it in has the vents for the steam to escape so it doesn't. Compromise any of the food inside. the chicken was grilled perfectly crispy. Bits yet still so juicy and delicious. Came with one pita chopped up nice and enough rice for two people. It is a little expensive but you definitely get at least two meals out of it. The spicy feta was the icing on the cake highly recommend it. Will be ordering from there again and every time I try something new, I'm more impressed read more

Wow!! Just wow! My friend and I ordered a combination platter of falafel and chicken souvlaki. Chicken was tender, juicy with grill marks and absolutely delicious as was the falafel, lemon potatoes and pita. We also ordered the combination appetizer of three dips: chummus, tzatziki, and feta dip. The portions are huge and I really didn't expect to be wowed like I am with the flavors. Same guy owns the nearby seafood restaurant so I'm looking forward to checking that place out too. Greek Xpress Hylan Boulevard is our favorite go to!! My daughter has severe celiac disease and eats worry free from their gluten free menu options due to their cross contamination safety precautions and dedicated separate fryers. We have been customers for a year now, so this has been proven time and time again, consistently having a positive experience. Portions are plentiful, well seasoned and just overall delicious!
