Best food in all of Norman. One plate could feed two people. Highly recommend supporting the local spots here! Best food for any occasion.

Service 10/10. Food 10/10. Location 10/10. Wish they were open late night, best after bar snack. Support your Norman locals!

The Greek House has been a popular lunch and dinner spot since 1979! Renowned for serving delicious, authentic gyros, you are sure to leave this restaurant satisfied. Try a flavorful gyro with meat, lettuce and onions piled high on pita bread, or opt for a gyro plate FILLED with meat, Greek salad, fries and pita bread. A smaller "child's plate" option is also available. The tasty tzatziki sauce that's served on the side perfectly rounds out the Greek House dining experience.

IM BACK! I think this place hits. They give you so much meat that I always have left overs! Similar to a quick service restaurant. My only downfall is how dirty the place is... the workers would be eating, licking their fingers and then touching your food. You can clearly see since they are right in the front. I've seen the cashier handle cash then go directly touching the fries to fry them. Maybe that's why the food always hits? From the extra flavor but it's disappointing to see it.

first place i had a gyro 20 years ago and see my favorite spot in norman to grab one.

This is the child's plate! So much food!

Always have to stop at Greek House for lunch every time I'm in Norman. The people are so friendly and you never have to wait long for your food. Prices are reasonable and the inside is always clean! The portions are huge, so I always get the child's plate and it's more than enough.

Childs Gyros Plate $11.49 (it was huge!!)

First time trying the Greek house and now I understand the hype! I got the child gyro's plate and it came with the meat, friends, salad and the tzatziki! It doesn't come with the pita though. Also their prices have changed a little bit I forgot to take the photo of the menu. So this plate is around $11.49, but the portion is huge :)

Hello, game day Boomer Sooner! This little family owned gem is a block away from the college stadium. It's a cash only restaurant and does get very busy. The food is amazing and portions are very large. Ordered a gyro only. The fries looked good but only bought a gyro. Took 1-1/2mins to get the sammich. The atmosphere was busy and a lot of people wanted Gyros haha. Thank you for the delicious food!

First thing. CASH ONLY! There is an ATM inside but just make sure you are prepared. The gentleman who I am guessing is the only isn't rude but he is straight to the point and doesn't present himself in the best of light. The lady who was serving people their food was very nice and sweet. Two thumbs up for her and her service. The restaurant is very tiny and parking can be a bit of an issue at times I would say. The food is delicious. The gyro meat is cooked nicely and not over cooked. Very flavorful. The salad is super simple and I would like to see something more done with it. It's iceberg lettuce, two slices of tomato, a cube of feta, white onions and oil and vinegar. Oh and I almost forgot 1 olive. I don't think you need More Ingredients just more Of them so each bite has a more uniform flavor. Portions are large and you will get your moneys worth for sure.

Great hole-in-the-wall place to get some delicious gyros. I got the full gyros plate, and it came with a mountain of meat. I took what I could t eat home to eat for lunch the next day. The meat was flavorful and went well with the pita and tzatziki sauce. I am used to a thinner sauce than what they have. It was still good, but I do prefer a thinner sauce. The plate comes with fries and a salad with some pita bread. The pita bread was nice and chewy how I like it and I enjoyed the fried as well. Of course I would like my fries a little more crisp, but tasty nonetheless. Hey portion for the price, next time I'll get the child plate though.

The food was really good. Big portions for a reasonable price. My daughter and I had enough for a second meal.

This is one of my local favorites. The gyro plate is so good. I love the cheese and olives and salad. It's been a long time favorite.

Slow service. Not too friendly. Food was marginal. Tabouli was almost all parsley & I love tabouli but I couldn't eat this.

He goes back and starts cooking and a little bit later out comes the food on a styrofoam plate. I was shocked and dismayed and really worried. I have been to Persian restaurants that charge far more and you get tumeric instead is saffron. What a treasure you have here. My photo is horrible and doesn't convey it but it's really good and I will be going there again for lunch.

My wife and I had the beef Shawarma sandwiches and they were very good. Nice amount of spice but not overwhelming. We both really liked their tzatziki sauce. One daughter had the chicken Shawarma sandwich and also thought it was good with a nice level of spice. My other daughter had the chicken kabobs with rice. She liked it as well. I tasted the rice and thought it was very good. We also tried the humus and it was nice. My girls told me they have a friend whose family is from Iran and they eat here often so I would think it's pretty authentic.
