Was on a Yelp adventure and saw this pizza place and really had high hopes of getting a great pie to take home with me. Appeared on their Yelp hours to be open however when I arrived everything looked dead and their hours are posted on the door as being closed on Sunday's. Bummer. Hopefully I'll be able to come back here and grab some pizza soon as I'm always on the hunt for a good pie! Don't let my answers turn you from trying Greccos! It really is an awesome place with great atmosphere and good food! But, unfortunately, this location in Mitchell has been closed down. So head on to bedford. It's totally worth the 7 mile journey north to Bedford Greccos! read more

I have ordered two times since my first review. I got lasagna this time. It was very good. I actually think it is better than the spaghetti and meat balls, of which I am a fan of. I couldn't eat all of it I guess because I got extra bread. It made a great lunch today! If you have never tried this place give it a try. Their salad that comes with the meals is pretty good. This is our first time at a Greccos. We are visiting the area and wanted to try something different. We came in and we're immediate greeted by a nice young man. He let us sit where we liked and brought us drinks quickly. He checked in on us to see when we were ready to order. He answered our questions and was always pleasant. Our food came quickly and was very tasty. The breadsticks were plain, but served hot and with dipping sauces. The pizza was very good. A nice flaky crust with a tomato sauce that tasted like my grandma's home canned sauce. The pasta that my daughter ordered arrived hot with a generous portion size. According to her the chicken fettuccine alfredo is tasty. The atmosphere is just what I expect from a small family place. Basic tables, chairs, booths. It's not fancy but the food is good for the price. We will come back. read more

This was our 1st time trying this place, as we really like Italian food. It was me and my Wife & Daughter. My wife and I decided to split the full portion of the spaghetti with meat sauce, it is supposed to come with a salad and garlic toast. My daughter got the kids meal spaghetti. We asked the server if she could have Marinara sauce instead of meat sauce, he said no problem. So we get our food and I must say it was very good tasting, salad and all. My Daughters kids spaghetti was not made with marinara sauce as we ordered, but they made it with meat sauce despite us asking for the marinara sauce. She went ahead and ate it anyways. The whole experience went really bad once we received the bill. We were charged almost double of what it was supposed to be, they charged us for an extra salad, even though we did not order one! Even charged us for crackers! I talked to the waiter about this and he acted like there was nothing he could do about it. I was like WHAT??? So I asked to speak to the manager, she came out and did take off the extra portion of spaghetti that was on the ticket (which we didn't order) but she would not take off the "extra salad" or "crackers" which we did NOT order as well. I was getting a little frustrated at this point, and asked why are we being charged for something we did not order. She just said "well you did receive some extra food free" I was like WHAT!!! I couldn't believe that they were actually charging me for items I never ordered!! I said why can't you just charge me for what I ordered?? She said there was nothing more she could do and we needed to just pay the bill. We as a family do eat out quite often and I must admit that I have never had a experience like this before, I told her it was very unprofessional and I asked to speak to the owner, and she said she was the owner! UNBELIEVABLE!! We will never go back! I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you actually like paying for items you did not order! I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge as I firmly believe that this is unscrupulous business practice. read more

Grecco's Pizza is standard run-of-the-mill pizza for a small town. Don't expect anything fancy. You can get your pizza carryout or eat on location, which is more of a cafeteria experience, and not like a pizzeria. You're eating in a mini-mall and that's what it feels like. That's fine for lunch with the family, but don't take your date here. I've always thought the prices were kind of high for what you get. read more

We come up here every Christmas for the Christmas in the village and this is a must stop! I say it is the best pizza in Indiana!

Just had my first experience of grecco's since they reopened this year. I will say it's not the worst place I ate at, but it is definitely not the best. First off they cut their pizza into squars, which just makes eating the middle pieces a mess. On the outer cuts there was hardly any toppings on them. Pretty much just dough. Barely any sauce on the pizza. The bread sticks were nothing special, just alot of dough. And we ordered marinara sauce which is just spaghetti sauce. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more
