I have lived in St. Cloud for two years and I am finally happy to announce that I found Chinese food here. Yes, of course there are other places to buy what they call Chinese food, but they are completely terrible. I was so excited when I brought home my food and started putting it on plates and realized I had found a priceless gem! Lol The prices are completely reasonable, but the food quality is out of this world. I ordered the Singapore chow mei fun, steam dumplings, crab Rangoon's and pork fried rice. These are my staple items when trying a new Chinese place and all four are completely amazing from great wall. Even two days later and reheated, this Chinese food is still 100% or more better than the other Chinese places around Saint Cloud. Love this!! You are in St. Cloud, You are craving Chinese food where do you go? The Great Wall located in the Publix Shopping center. So it's a slow start to a Sunday, meaning we really haven't taken showers yet. Yard work, and other house hold chores have won out over hygiene. So we think delivery and when we think delivery we think Chinese food. So we call the great wall up only to find out they don't deliver. Good thing I had just taken a shower and have nominated myself as the pick up person. Nestled in the publix shopping plaza I found it easy to locate. I came in and the woman at the counter was very sweet. Customer service that you don't see very many places. We had made a mistake while ordering over the phone, forgetting to say a name, they kept our phone records and she thanked me and giggled a fun giggle, saying "I had hoped who came to pick it up would know the number." Service was completely excellent. She was as sweet as can be, the food was hot and delicious. Sweet and Sour Soup was impressive, the chicken fried rice was decent, the pepper steak was also wonderful. and don't miss out on their sugar doughnuts. They are so dreamy and delicious. Love there Chinese food!! We always get the fried chicken wings with French fries and the bourbon chicken with pork friend rice. I've tried a few Chinese food spots in St. Cloud but this is has been my favorite. They are closed on TUESDAYs. I learned that the hard way. The only thing I'm eh about is their egg roll that comes with the dinner combo. I'm not a fan but it's not biggie to me. Their food tastes delicious!! Ragoons are the only good food at this place. Everything else is so full of filler (water chestnuts, carrots, celery, etc.) it isn't worth it. Granted, it isn't expensive but with the lack of protein in each meal that is why. Tried this a few times always lackluster. I will just eat Chinese when I go outside Saint Cloud. read more

Not so good the honey garlic chicken was too mushy and the fried rice looked like it was yellow rice and it was either old or fried up too long. Dumplings had an odd taste to them. read more

Horrible! So much oil in my egg roll, after 6 paper towels to try to soak up some of the oil I still drained over a tsp out could not eat the grease roll. I ordered the dinner general chicken asked for extra sauce and please make it spicy. What I received was over cooked dry chicken with no flavor and very little sauce. Now here it is 5 hours later and I have the worse stomach cramps, gas and diarrhea. No I won't be eating he again read more

We made Teriyaki Chicken and needed some side dishes. So me decides to grab some pork fried rice and crab wontons. The fried rice was very good, they put the right amount of pork into it. The crab wontons were amazing. Cooked to perfection and the correct amount of filling. We are always happy ordering from here. read more

Not coming bad, horrible taste, they serve food in a stock with lots of cornstarch giving it a consistency of a big plate of warm salty jello.. ugh the fried rice is colored yellow rice, super greasy and not tasty with mini pieces of meat, just not coming back, not worth it. read more

Had Chinese today and the food was not good. I ordered spring rolls and orange chicken. The chicken was over cooked and hard and the sauce wasn't that great. Spring rolls were full of grease and not good at all. I still cannot find a good Chinese restaurant in Florida, coming from NY nothing compares . read more

I found the food here to be pretty decent albeit a little on the salty side. The General Tso's was pretty good, but barely spicy. I'll be sure to ask for extra spicy next time. The beef & broccoli was pretty good too although I only had a small taste of it. The rice was nice but barely had and pork bits in it. My favorite part of the meal was the crab rangoon. I found it to be really good with lots of filling! I will give this place another shot to see if I can up the rating. read more

Last time I ate here was 3 years ago. I wrote a review about 4 years ago and I'm glad to see nothing has changed. From the sweet lady at the counter that always greats you with a smile to their over filled take out trays this is still THE BEST Chinese food I've ever eaten in Florida. Today I got their krab Rangoon and OMG no other restaurants can compare! I can't believe that I waited 3 years to return what was I thinking! I just wish they had delivery if they did they would dominate Saint Cloud and maybe if they're willing go out into Kissimmee to crush the competition there too. read more

A couple of months ago I went in and got 2 servings of Won Ton Soup. Got home and the Won Ton's were bright yellow and hard as rocks. Now I decided to give it another try because everyone says "great Wall is the best" so I ordered Beef w/brocolli and roast pork fried rice and my husband had Sweet and sour Chicken with Roast Pork fried rice. When I got home there was no Sweet and Sour Sauce on his Chicken it was dry and it was not roast pork fried rice - just fried rice with nothing else in it. This is not what I had expected and he will never go back there again, neither will I. Twice and you are out. read more

I am not sure what these other reviews are complimenting, they must be friends of the owners or old reviews. My wife and I used to always order from here but sadly we will never order from here again. We ordered spare ribs (all fat) no meat, sesame chicken which had no chicken what so ever it was all breading and scraps of fatty chicken bits like cartilage and other parts ( no white meat). The wonton soup was microwaved from whenever it was made because even though we just placed the and immediately picked it up it was cold and rubbery. Seriously the only good thing that came out of this dinner was the fortune cookies. Oh yeah I forgot to mention the pork fried rice also fatty bits very little meat made my wife sick. I took all of this food and discarded it in the trash what a waste of 25$. It's sad that you have to give a star rating because I would definitely not award them one star. Things have really gone down hill with this company it used to have really good food but unfortunately its now just terrible. We will never oder from here again. read more

I've eaten in and taken out from Great Wall for years now, and I can't say enough about this place. The always fresh food is literally beautiful: extra-large seafood, poultry and meats, precision-trimmed of fat, fill every container full-to-bursting, and the veggies appear hand-picked from a hidden farm outback. (Do not confuse with Outback nearby). I order weekly whenever possible, and cherish Happy Family (which this place is run by), Seafood Delight, Subgum Wonton, and War Wonton/House Special mix soup. Orange or Garlic Chicken are delish as are the Fried Wonton, but nothing beats those fat, sweet and crispy Egg Rolls. (My Crab Rangoon friends would gladly argue.) Great Wall's selections are in reality what food looks like in Ad Land, and taste even better. And, their humongous. Even the fortune cookies are just-made crisp, which tells ya something. Same choice inside of beverages, sauces and staff, topped with one sterling manager, Ms. Yun. If they ever close, nothing I know of from here to NYC will fill the void for me. Note that requests for low(er) sodium dishes are well accomodated. Order over a certain amount and you get an extra treat ... or three. They truly aim to please. read more

These people are dishonest and will cheat you. Our last two orders were wrong. They gave us spring rolls even though we ordered and paid for egg rolls. When we ordered egg rolls tonight they gave us one even though we ordered two. and paid for two. When we called back they stated they ould not find the order we just picked up and essentially called my wife a liar. We came back to return their garbage. Expect rude and unprofessional service at Great Wall, a Chinese restaurant in Saint Cloud right off of 192 (Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy.) My wife and I ordered egg rolls and while waiting we see the female owner/ manager loudly scolding one of the male cooks. She didn't seem to care that her customers could hear. I ordered 4 egg rolls and she threw 4 duck sauces in the bag. We kindly asked for a couple more packets of duck sauce. The same Great Wall female said, "It's in the bag" rudely ignoring our request as she took another order. We stood waiting for her to finish the other person's order for a couple minutes as she continued to ignore us. Another female employee came from the back. Noticing that we were standing there waiting, she asked what we wanted and then gave us a handful of duck sauces. I only took two and thanked her. The owner who initially purposely ignored us, acting as if she was deeply engaged on a phone order, suddenly came alive. At that point, she had no problem interrupting her phone order to finally bring her attention back to us. The owner quickly snapped at the girl for giving us the additional sauce. How rude, cheap, and tacky! I've never been so insulted after spending my money in a restaurant. They hide the condiments / sauces behind the counter which forces customers to beg for extras. On top of that, they did not put any napkins in the bag. I suppose you have to beg for napkins too on a take-out order. Makes me wonder, what else they are doing to the food, and to cut corners in the name of saving a penny for their restaurant. A lack of self control and nasty attitude replace customer service / satisfaction at this establishment. We won't be back! read more

Im a food lover & Love to try out different foods. But the memory of this place is horrible. The people at the counter probably didn't know what courteous meant or they were actually courteous in a Chinese way which was pretty curt & arrogant. Every question that I asked about the food was met with a reply, implying 'You better get what we have here or just walk out that door'. The food was not great either. This place upsets me. I've order from here a handful of times. The food is excellent tasting and the pricing is decent. However, the past two orders I've placed have been wrong. I ordered (and paid) for steamed chicken and vegetables. I only received steamed vegetables, no chicken. This could have been a simple oversight, but on another occasion I ordered a lunch combo that comes with fried rice. The order was correct technically, but once I started eating the rice I noticed a piece of shrimp and then another and another. While some might be excited at this extra tidbit, I am allergic to shellfish (as many people are). This should not have been something I would have thought I would have to notify them of bc you would think they would be more careful preparing certain foods near others for this very reason. I may order from them again because the food does taste good, but three strikes and I'm done. read more
