the entrance to a chinese food restaurant

My clients were in the mood for Chinese food, so I came across this restaurant. I called in the order of several lunch specials. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli for myself. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in, and my order was ready. I paid and left. When I dug into my meal, I enjoyed the shrimp and broccoli with brown rice. It was filling! I had a good experience.

Great Wall is our go-to take out restaurant. We order here about once a week at this point! The lunch specials are amazing and the perfect size. I always get the shrimp and broccoli or shrimp and mixed vegetables. The bourbon chicken, sesame chicken, shrimp with lobster sauce and beef sticks are also favorites in our family. All are photographed in the attached photo except for the shrimp eight lobster sauce. Sweet and Sour Chicken also photographed. Dinner often comes with soda as well!! The delivery is quick and great. Great service and food overall.

Simply amazing fresh, delicious, non overly greasy food…read more Family owned and so nice. The only Chinese restaurant I will order from.

If I could rate 3.5 stars, I would, but being that I can't, I'm rounding up and giving four stars…read more I've lived in Fair Lawn pretty much my whole life, and our go to Chinese takeout place is Man Hing, but since they're closed on Mondays and my family was really craving takeout, we gave Hunan Wok a try this past Monday night. I forgot to take photos because by the time we got the food, I was solely focused on getting something to eat. The food is pretty average here. We ordered a large chicken and broccoli with, wonton egg drop soup, moo shu pork, and a brown rice. The chicken and broccoli was the only thing I personally liked. Flavor wise, it's completely typically for Chinese takeout. My only issue with it was that they were a little conservative with the amount of chicken in it. It's great though, for people who really love their broccoli. The wonton egg drop soup broth was a bit lacking in flavor. The wontons had some decent taste to them, but the wrapping was light, personally I prefer wontons with thicker wrapping. It wasn't bad, but not great either. And I'm not sure if it's particularly bad, or good, but it also wasn't completely packed with wontons, so there was more broth than I'm used to having in a container of wonton soup. The moo shu pork was a bit salty for my liking, and the hoisin sauce that came with it was not as sweet as the brand I'm familiar with. The pancakes that came with the dish were overly wrapped up in saran wrap, it took my a couple minutes to actually get them out. The other issue with them is that they were extremely delicate. Just handling them I felt like they were going to fall apart. They were also square, instead of circular, which is unusual, but not a big deal. I don't normally feel the need to mention rice, but here the white rice was good (it's hard to mess up white rice, right?). But the brown rice was so bad, we had to throw it out. The prices were pretty average for a Chinese takeout place, although I think they charged extra for the brown rice, which some places do, some don't. I'd give this place another try, but ordering different dishes.
