Walked in at 4:30 pm Saturday. Not one customer was sitting down or anywhere to be seen. Ordered and was taken but waitress could not answer questions about the menu dishes. Two dishes came to $10.99 + $8.99. I ordered the Korean Pork Sweet and Sour and it was great. Walked to cashier to pay bill and it was two dollars more that it should have been.($25) Brought it to the cashier and she informed me and showed me on the menu in small print that prices may change. I cry a thousand tears everytime I think about my experience with Great Wall Cafe! The staff was rude and scolded our table for laughing while she was taking a phone call (in the dining area meant for we the people/paying customers). Not only was the service cringe worthy but the food saddened my intestines. The Galbi was burnt and didn't include banchan like most Korean restaurants. The fried mandoo should be renamed "Soggy Mandoo Slightly Crisped on One Side"... If you want to experience this restaurant's version of bulgogi, go to your local Chinese restaurant and order broccoli and beef. They served us rice that was as cooked as an oryza sativa grain straight out of the ground. At least the chairs were comfortable. read more

Tonight was the first time I have order from Great Wall Cafe and am glad I did. Great chow. Fast delivery. My order was correct, hot and extremely fresh and delivered to me by a courteous person without spilling anything. The pork fried rice, curry chicken, pepper chicken and teriyaki chicken sticks were killer. Reasonably priced and lots of chow. Not over spiced or overcooked either. Try it you wont be dissatisfied. This is our second time ordering from here just in this week. I love the lo mein because it's moist unlike the chow mein at Panda Express and it's a little like spaghetti noodles. The orange chicken is delicious because they make the sauce a cross of sweet and sour and orange sauce. However you can also have it made as just regular orange chicken but I believe that is made a little on the spicy side. The potstickers or fried dumplings speak for themselves. Delicious! read more

Don't ever order from here, Last night I ordered the double tangy and spicy chicken, lo mein and honey chicken and egg rolls for my family. The food came cold and was disgusting. I called them to tell them my situation and the manger herself said there was nothing she can do. No refund or fixing the order because I threw the food away. I called at 10:20 to try and fix the food that night and no one answered the phone. The manager said someone was there find that hard to believe when I called more than once. We stopped off here for lunch on our return from Copperas Cove as the exit was easy off. It was not busy since it was 1:35 pm, but the lunch specials were available until 3. I had bulgogi with fried rice, egg roll, chicken wing, and hot and sour soup. Soup was very good and not overly spicy. Bulgogi was very much like Mongolian beef without the green onions; it was a large portion and quite good. The egg roll which was more like a fried spring-roll was also good. The chicken wing was ok but not great. My wife had sweet and sour chicken which she enjoyed and I agreed with her after tasting. She had won ton soup and she thought it was good but not the best she's had. The restaurant was very peaceful (a plus) service was swift, but not personable, and the total bill for 2 lunches + 2 drinks was $15 which was quite reasonable. Came back in to try something else. Went with the orange chicken. Some of the pieces are just fried batter. Others are comparable to jerky in regards to the texture of the meat. I'm not impressed. Military will keep it alive because at least it's better than a MRE. read more

Awesome take out Chinese food for the area. I've ordered delivery, pick up and walked in. It's always the same great food. Even at 9:50pm, 10 minutes to close the food was fresh when I picked it up. Delivery usually doesn't take too long and I've never had a complaint about the wait or quality of food. Decent priced too. About $10/person. This is a very convenient location for lunch if you work on post. It's just off the willow springs exit or you can cut through from metroplex on clear creek down the back road. I ordered quite a bit of food, over fifty bucks worth, and I specifically asked for egg rolls and not spring rolls MORE THAN ONCE WHILE ORDERING. I make sure to be specific when I've ordered before and I assumed they had shrimp egg rolls since the person who took my order didn't make me aware that the spring rolls only came with shrimp! Well I got spring rolls instead, and when I called I was met with so many smart remarks, not necessarily overly rude but enough of an attitude in the lady's responses to let me know she had a problem with me making a complaint. She seemed like she believed I was lying and had me look at the bag to make sure there was an S for shrimp, I made her aware that there was but that I wanted egg rolls and not spring rolls! Not to mention there were no shrimp in these veggie rolls, at first she said there should be one shrimp and then that went to there should be shrimp cut into pieces throughout this obvious veggie roll, I literally was exhausted with the exchange and let her know to forget it and not to worry about it because I was getting nowhere! Szechuan chicken tasted bland like it was just drenched in vegetable oil. No sweet, spice, salt... virtually no taste. Made my stomach feel horrible and my stomach is basically Steel. I ate 2 month old chili once without any problems. Will never return and wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more
