We stored our travel trailer here over the winter and were very pleased to have found this place…read more It has great security gate and is situated a good distance back from 32 mile road. The lot is crushed concrete but is well taken care of in the terms of the land being very level. Hardly any low spots and a good drainage from what we could notice. Our trailer looked as good bringing it home 2 weeks ago, as it did when we said goodbye for the winter. They have a dumping station and water so that we could blow out trailer before bring it home- how convenient is that. The automatic sliding security gate requires you to punch in your code to enter and to exit the premises. The price is the best in town, of the 7 places we called. My husband and I feel very confident with this storage company.

We used White Star Movers for our move yesterday, and it was the second time we've trusted them…read morewith moving our home. We booked them again because our first experience was so positive, and yesterday only confirmed we made the right decision. Tyrik, Dom, Liam, and Riley were nothing short of amazing. They were friendly, professional, incredibly careful with our belongings, helpful, and remarkably efficient throughout the entire day. At one point I joked that they communicated with each other better than my wife and I do! My wife commented several times during the move about how impressed she was with the entire team. What really stood out to me was their attention to detail. They didn't simply move furniture into the house--they took the time to make sure everything was placed thoughtfully, paying attention to positioning and angles. It was the little things that really impressed us, like reaching behind the freezer to plug it in and confirming it was running before moving on. Those extra touches speak volumes about the pride they take in their work and the care they show their customers. We hope this is our forever home, so hopefully we won't need movers again. But if life has other plans, we won't look anywhere else. White Star Movers has earned our trust twice, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company that truly cares. Thank you to Tyrik, Dom, Liam, Riley, and the entire White Star team for another outstanding experience!

We stored our belongings at the Public Storage on 23 Mile and Hayes in Shelby Township for over…read morefive years. When we first signed the lease, we were told rent increases would be minimal--maybe $10-$20 per year. We started at $167/month, but within just six months, they raised it to $437/month, and the following year it jumped again to $533/month. That's over triple the original price with no improvement in service or facility conditions. Even worse, when we recently emptied the unit, we discovered all of our furniture was completely destroyed by mold. Mold was growing up the walls and had embedded into our wood pieces beyond repair. The climate-controlled unit we were promised was anything but--every time we visited, it was hot and extremely humid. It's clear there was zero effort to maintain proper temperature or humidity levels, despite that being part of what we were paying for. We trusted Public Storage to protect our possessions and they failed us. Now we're left with thousands of dollars in damage and no accountability from the company. Avoid this location at all costs
