The sites are all double wide concrete pads; no need to drag out your rugs! Everyone we met was very friendly and so hospitable. They even had events planned for the weekend, including a Father's Day breakfast. We heard they had a planned expansion and can't wait to see what else they have planned for the resort!

Ladies that means you are not going to condition your hair AND shave! One or the other! Lawnmowers going Tuesday 8AM! No lazy bones here! However, I wonder what grass they are cutting because all I see is dirt! I feel sorry for the people camping with kids! Who doesn't like playing in dirt...? When it rains it's just lovely! We also have stayed at Sun Outdoors in the past. It was a little pricey for the area but we had appointments in the area so it was a great location for us. I had no idea that the last 1/2 mile prior to entering the road which was a dirt road would have such pot holes that made it almost impossible to drive through. We left a day early and stayed in Walmart parking lot over night because I just could stand driving in and out one more time. The staff were extremely nice but stated it was a "private road" and there was nothing they could do about it. I am pretty sure that a park that houses a few hundred people should be concerned with the ability/liability for emergency service to arrive quickly when there is no way they can drive over 2miles/hr on that road. There are trails out into the woods and as you can see from one of my pictures we had a deer munching on dinner that was fun to watch. All the sites are back in Only, and most of the sites were filled with what looked like longer-term stays or seasonal stays. So I think we were a little lucky to be able to grab a spot here. We were just here one night. It is an interesting set up with the water as you share a Spicket with four people, but the pressure was fine. We had no issues. You will need extra long hose so be prepared with that. The Wi-Fi is chargeable so we did not use it. The Verizon signal was decent enough. We are self contained so we did not use the restroom or shower facilities. There is a really nice picnic pavilion and plenty of green space. Lots of kids having fun on their bikes and such too. Front office staff were very friendly and charge was $30 a night. You're just a few miles into town, there is a planet fitness, grocery stores and farm stands as well as pretty much anything else you might need to stock up on during your travels.

They have spots for full hookups and 50 amp. Diane at registration is super friendly. The campers were all very respectful. Looks like they will have new ownership and will have upgrades. What I hope they don't do is raise prices were it's not affordable for those that stay for the season or lengthy time frames. The KOA we stayed at was too pricey and had so many kids driving the golf carts, making lots of noise and it felt chaotic. This place was quiet and we felt safe. We are interested in returning next year. Bonus, Cracker Barrel is adjacent to this park.

You can't get lost in the trails because evey trail leads back to the main grounds. I can just ride my bike for hours on end and just come back to eat. There are a lot of activities for everybody.
