This reflects poor inventory management and lack of transparency at worst. It suggests deliberate refusal to honor a valid purchase due to unfavorable pricing on the retailer's end. Found a little clearance rack in teh back that had some pork rines and bugles, among some others, which were a great find! REALLY cheap clearance, which is awesome! The older checker lady was so sweet and such a quaint pleasure to encounter compared to the usual busy non-chalant city associates I'm used to.
