The ethic seems to be around upselling, making sales so they can go to the sales gathering in Hawaii, that sort of thing. I called for service of the backup battery...and $2000 later, I have a new this and that, except now, neither light on the opener comes on, so I drive into my garage in the dark. I have less functionality than before I called for service. The friendly sell-me-everything-in-the-truck guy became quite snarly when I called him back to look at the (now worse) opener lights. Yep, the guy put in writing that I need a new opener (another $1500), and yep, I was stupid in listening to the fast talk for how the new springs and bearings would make everything work better. I called our regular garage door repair people and just got voice mail so I decided to call Mile High Garage Door , Matt answered the phone and scheduled us for first thing Monday morning. Dave showed up in a timely fashion, looked the situation over and agreed we needed a new spring along with some new rollers and a basic tune-up. We agreed to replace both springs since they were the same age and to generally fix up the rest of the door with new rollers, end bearings and a good lube job since it had been a right around ten years since it was previously done. Dave quoted a reasonable price for all the work and parts without any add on for a trip charge. We thought the price was reasonable so Dave made the repairs. He left everything neat and tidy and it has been right around ten days since the repair and all is working well and the door's operation is very quiet. So thank you Matt and Dave for getting our garage door running so we could get to work on time. We won't hesitate to recommend you to our family, friends and neighbors. Keep up the good work and take care of yourselves. Deana

It was a Saturday and I called the other local garage door companies around Erie and either couldn't come out until the next day, or didn't pickup the phone for my call. Toby was very friendly, professional, and did a great job getting my garage door working again. I would highly recommend over any other garage door provider in the area. Thanks again Toby!

Summary: If you need a new garage door installed and what's most important to you is price,…read moreconsider Primos. If you want your project to be completed on time instead of taking three times as long as estimated, or a company that has proactive communication, consider going with another company. More details: I give Primos three stars for having the most competitive pricing compared to the other quotes I got, and doing a good job on the day of install (the installer arrived on time, was professional, finished the job in one day, and the door looks great). I had to deduct the other two stars because: - The project took three times as long as estimated. When I got the quote, I was told to expect the door to arrive in 4-6 weeks. Instead it took more than three months. Although I was told the delay was due to the door manufacturer, I would hope that a garage door company would work with a more reliable supplier that delivers on time. - The company did not have proactive communication. I had to ask where my door was after 6 weeks, if it had been inspected after it arrived, and once it was, to actually complete the install. I guess you could say all's well that ends well, but the time from quote to completion was kind of frustrating.

We swore we would never use credit cards ever again and started saving for our kitchen project. We saved and it was time for granite. I had 6 companies that I interviewed for the job, and gave what I had in cash to spend. The other companies were nice, and respectful, but they were unwilling to work with us, or give us cash discounts. My last call was to Colorado Marble & Granite. It was nice talking to the owner. She was super nice, and she even stayed after they were closed to give us a tour and see some granite samples. I gave her the exact measurements, being I built the kitchen. She gave me a price that met our budget and guess what.... we had enough to take my wife out to dinner (awesome Taco place down in the DTC area.) The crew who came out to do the template, and to install ROCKED. Nice courteous and asked me questions BEFORE they installed it. It's taken me a couple months to post this, and I am embarrassed since the experience was so deserved to have this written as soon as they left. (to the owner I am sorry about that). Project Date: June 2016 Project Price Range: $10,000 -…read more$49,999 This is a sad review. We used Colorado Marble and Granite for our kitchen counter tops (Summer of 2016) and they were so wonderful. Rise' was our salesperson and from the get go she was just the best - and believe me I shopped around for a fabricator quite a while. They were so good in fact that we used them for a kitchen and 2 bath remodel of an investment property the following month. Now the bad news. On Thanksgiving we were doing dishes and the sink fell out of the counter top (see photo). Disturbing but I knew they would make it right. Ann who is the owner called me the following Monday. I had shored up the sink with some makeshift 2x4 supports I made in my garage and fixed the destroyed plumbing as best I could by then so we could get through the weekend. I told Ann that I knew they were busy with the holidays so would be patient until they could free up time to come re install our sink. I even told her I was not upset about out broken china. She promised to call me back to schedule but never did. After Christmas I called her again and she said "i thought you fixed it yourself." After explaining to her again that my makeshift repair was temporary at best she told me she would schedule something and call me the next day. A week later I had not received a call so I tried to reach out to Rise' by phone. She sounded very surprised and apologized, saying she would speak to Ann and call me back, which she never did. So now 47 days later I am giving up on them. Unbelievable as it sounds it is a true story. I have hired a contractor to repair the sink and I will forward his invoice to Colorado Marble but I have to assume they won't reimburse me. I guess the next should be taking the case to the BBB then contacting all the granite companies that have them as a recommended vendor and letting them know what happened. Beware of this company. They do not back up their workmanship. Like I said a sad story we really thought this company was legit.
