My hair color was a train wreck, and I really wanted to go out for my birthday that night feeling confident with a new, bold look. I am ABSOLUTELY THRILLED to say that Master Stylist Vivian, Lily, Anthony and Danielle all made my dream a reality. The photos show the absolutely CRAZY transformation of my hair under these skilled stylists. Instead of wanting to put a bag over my head, I am over the moon when I look in a mirror now. Vivian has been doing hair since the 1980s, and she is truly a GENIUS. She was careful, ensuring that the bleach did not fry my hair, and she had the best ideas. It was a long process, of course, but worth all of the hours in her chair. If you need a hair miracle or a color correction like I did, I HIGHLY recommend Vivian and her team at Salon Arcaro without any hesitation. She KNOWS her trade, and she's TRULY a Master of hair ‼

So, I'm flying into ATL and I decided to check IG to see which salons recently posted great…read morecontent with their silk press stylist so I came across Press Bar Salon in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Well in NYC all of the good silk pressed salons and hair stylists have all of these appointment requirements and it really felt so good to see this salon state that they accept walk-ins and just to call prior to coming in. Well, let's just say this was the best hair treatment that I have received in a very long time well 5 years to be exact. I went natural and this was my very first silk press and yes I got the works done. Let's just start with the amazing customer service I received when I just walked in and then the ambiance was just as amazing a the service. My stylist was Jonyece and she was very professional and she made sure that I was aware of all of my services and she definitely had the hands of magic because my natural hair came out so beautiful. The services I received was a black color, treatment, trim, wash and blow. Happy to say I now have a go to salon in Georgia. I would definitely recommend this salon to any of my natural yelpers out there looking for a natural salon where they can get an amazing silk press.

First of all, what is listed on the website as a "service" really isn't available at the…read morelocation-for example, the "Blow & Go" may be what they are referencing as "Neat"? Nonetheless, my point is...I walked in for a "Blow & Go with a trim", I had been growing out my "baby bob" for 2 months. My hair was almost shoulder length and doing well, i just needed a little "dusting" of my ends. Walked out with an AWFUL MUSHROOM with layers cut in the back, no blending on the sides...I mean totally messed up a 2 year process of hair growth. Not to mention the "hostess" washed my hair and brushed it wet? I've been told this is a "no-no" in Haircare. Stylist didn't even clean the combs between clients, dropped the comb on the floor and just picked it up and continued to use it. DO NOT TRUST THEM AS I DO NOT BELIEVE ANYONE AT THE FACILITY FIR LICENSED!!!! BTW...I leave for a trip today and couldn't even sleep last night, that's how jacked-up my head looks! Definitely disputing the charge and looking into legal representation!

We were greeted immediately and quickly seated. 3 of us came in with only 1 of us wanting a haircut, but because of the quick, accommodating and affordable services we all got our hairs cut. 2 of us got our hair cut by Michael. He was very friendly and personable, cutting our hair exactly as requested. He did it quickly while still checking in throughout the process to make sure that we were happy with it. My sister's stylist was also very thorough and made sure to check in with me as well to ensure my sister was getting what she wanted. This is the second time I've gotten my hair cut by Michael, and I've been very happy both times. This salon isn't close to me by any means, but it's worth the drive. I will definitely be coming back for any future hair needs.

Christine has done a amazing job with my hair. I highly recommend her as a Hair Artist (stylist). I honestly felt I walked Salon Disengo as a customer but left as a friend.

Unfortunately, when I saw my hair I told her it looked really dark. She assured me that it was because it was wet and the toner would fade a bit after a couple washes. I gave her benefit of the doubt bc it looked a little lighter when she dried it. When I got home and could take a better look, my hair was a full gray and beige color. I was bright blonde. I also still have roots showing. The salon hasn't responded to either of my messages asking what we can do to fix this. It will be very hard to correct this without ruining my curl pattern and I am probably going to have to get a keratin treatment somewhere, which isn't cheap. I told my stylist that I keep my hair light bc of thinning areas because they make me self conscious. They are fully visible. I'm not going to name the stylist because she was really nice, but I am not happy with the lack of response to my messages. I would skip this one unless you want something basic and without bleach.

We made an appointment online a day before our service with Demetria…read more She was wonderful! Handled us with care as one of us needed to be and she understood the assignment I wanted a lineup on my edges, not a hair cut, as the website only has "haircut" listed. I almost didn't go as I didn't want to pay $40 for a line up, but it worked out perfectly! The place was very clean. Very spacious and a very bougie set up, which I loved. They offer you water or tea and you are seen by appointments only. I'm sure walk ins might be welcome, but get your appointment if you want to walk out looking fly One thing I observed at that time. One of the other stylists apparently was not feeling well and it was being discussed, while she had her mask down. Now mind you, there were still clients there and she felt the need to sit in her chair with her mask down saying how she was tired of the mask, she tried getting a rapid test, but they were sold out etc etc One of the stylists did call her out on it and she got very defensive. We need to really take this seriously until we have a better handle on the pandemic. If you are not well or unsure of what it might be, STAY HOME! That was very irresponsible and selfish of her, I think. Again, the owner wasn't there so I guess anything goes ‍ Besides that, it is a great place and the ladies were all very nice. Thank you Demetria. You def understood our assignments!
