So we decided to give New U a chance and I'm so glad we did! Julia is so incredibly precise and kind, my teen daughter told me she will never want to go elsewhere, that Julia must be her new stylist from here on out. The following day I went back with my younger daughter (12) for the both of us to get cuts. Julia did a fantastic job on both of us. Happy to say we all have Julia as our stylist from now on.

We made an appointment online a day before our service with Demetria…read more She was wonderful! Handled us with care as one of us needed to be and she understood the assignment I wanted a lineup on my edges, not a hair cut, as the website only has "haircut" listed. I almost didn't go as I didn't want to pay $40 for a line up, but it worked out perfectly! The place was very clean. Very spacious and a very bougie set up, which I loved. They offer you water or tea and you are seen by appointments only. I'm sure walk ins might be welcome, but get your appointment if you want to walk out looking fly One thing I observed at that time. One of the other stylists apparently was not feeling well and it was being discussed, while she had her mask down. Now mind you, there were still clients there and she felt the need to sit in her chair with her mask down saying how she was tired of the mask, she tried getting a rapid test, but they were sold out etc etc One of the stylists did call her out on it and she got very defensive. We need to really take this seriously until we have a better handle on the pandemic. If you are not well or unsure of what it might be, STAY HOME! That was very irresponsible and selfish of her, I think. Again, the owner wasn't there so I guess anything goes ‍ Besides that, it is a great place and the ladies were all very nice. Thank you Demetria. You def understood our assignments!

On the morning of February 11, 2025, my birthday, I called Danielle at Salon Arcaro and asked her…read morefor a miracle. I was a brand new client. My hair color was a train wreck, and I really wanted to go out for my birthday that night feeling confident with a new, bold look. I am ABSOLUTELY THRILLED to say that Master Stylist Vivian, Lily, Anthony and Danielle all made my dream a reality. The photos show the absolutely CRAZY transformation of my hair under these skilled stylists. Instead of wanting to put a bag over my head, I am over the moon when I look in a mirror now. Vivian has been doing hair since the 1980s, and she is truly a GENIUS. She was careful, ensuring that the bleach did not fry my hair, and she had the best ideas. It was a long process, of course, but worth all of the hours in her chair. If you need a hair miracle or a color correction like I did, I HIGHLY recommend Vivian and her team at Salon Arcaro without any hesitation. She KNOWS her trade, and she's TRULY a Master of hair ‼

Christine told me strait up and promised no single session miracle. But if I gave her time and the chance she could reverse the damage I did. Christine has done a amazing job with my hair. I highly recommend her as a Hair Artist (stylist). I honestly felt I walked Salon Disengo as a customer but left as a friend.

I really wanted to like this place. My stylist was very nice. I showed her the cut and color I…read morewanted. I thought we were on the same page. Unfortunately, when I saw my hair I told her it looked really dark. She assured me that it was because it was wet and the toner would fade a bit after a couple washes. I gave her benefit of the doubt bc it looked a little lighter when she dried it. When I got home and could take a better look, my hair was a full gray and beige color. I was bright blonde. I also still have roots showing. The salon hasn't responded to either of my messages asking what we can do to fix this. It will be very hard to correct this without ruining my curl pattern and I am probably going to have to get a keratin treatment somewhere, which isn't cheap. I told my stylist that I keep my hair light bc of thinning areas because they make me self conscious. They are fully visible. I'm not going to name the stylist because she was really nice, but I am not happy with the lack of response to my messages. I would skip this one unless you want something basic and without bleach.

We were greeted immediately and quickly seated. 3 of us came in with only 1 of us wanting a haircut, but because of the quick, accommodating and affordable services we all got our hairs cut. 2 of us got our hair cut by Michael. My sister's stylist was also very thorough and made sure to check in with me as well to ensure my sister was getting what she wanted. This is the second time I've gotten my hair cut by Michael, and I've been very happy both times. This salon isn't close to me by any means, but it's worth the drive. I will definitely be coming back for any future hair needs.

Rather than being even slightly accommodating for a long service appointment, they immediately marked it as a cancellation and charged me 50% of the service - $90 - despite the fact that no service was provided. The complete lack of flexibility or understanding was shocking. Charging someone $90 for a navigation error is pretty poor customer service. Policies are one thing, but this felt unnecessarily rigid.
