I was looking for a place to get a simple haircut. I went in and waited my turn. I sat in the chair and the woman seemed unhappy that I was there. She sprayed my hair with a little water, and literally within 60 seconds, she pronounced it finished. I nearly started laughing. A speed haircut. At first I thought it was a joke, then I realized the joke was on me. The haircut was over. But what can you do? If you complain, goodness knows what might happen then. Not very professional and average to below average haircuts. I have utilized them several times as they are the closest to my house but will not use them again. I usually have touch up my haircuts after I get home and brush it out....they always seem to miss some. The last time I visited, I signed up through the app. I let the. Know when I arrived and I was listed as next customer. They proceeded to take two other customers ahead of me and when I asked why I was told that I hadn't checked in. I'd like to get my haircut first thing in the morning when they open to try and alleviate having to wait. They also have a pretty cool automated system for reservations. This particular Great Clips is run by a bunch of people who do not care do not turn on the reservation system and wait till 15 to 20 minutes after opening hours to actually open the store. This is happened to me on more than one occasion at this exact location I'm over it they lost me as a customer. read more

The only reason I gave 1 star is because I didn't have to wait... I just wanted a trim and back cut in "swing bob". Stylist said it was her specialty. My hair was BUTCHERED!!! She used a electric hair trimmer only and said that is what they do now when I questioned her. They saw me as soon as I walked in. The salon is very clean and there was two very employees at this location. My stylist Crystal was very honest about my hair cut and style. She kept it long like I wanted but cleaned up my very messy layers. The cost for a basic cut is $13 which I think is awesome given that I usually pay $60-$70. I have been going here for 2 years. Yesterday morning the staff was very rude. No welcoming or warm atmosphere. Unlocked the door and did not even welcome customers into the store. I have always come to great clips here in woodway and had pretty good haircuts. Today i loved my hair cut from a guy who walked in and wanted to work and do his job. Fenominal job to him. My stylist name was Brittany I am Black & thought another black person would know how to cut hair because I had gotten my hair cut before by a Mexican girl at SmartStyle Walmart & was surprised & satisfied with her cut. The prices are lower than I have ever paid but is only for the haircut. It does not include a shampoo or styling/blow drying. Someone recommended a specific stylist so I went having never been to a great clips. The stylist was experienced. I showed her 2 pictures. I had let my hair grow out for the hair style I wanted. Now I have to grow it out again, as she cut way too short in some places but inferior everywhere on my head. The cut does not match the pictures at all. I have to grow it out again!!!!! Sholanda is amazing at cutting my little man's hair. She talks sweet to him the whole time, gives him lollipops and also the cuts always look very handsome. First visit at 14 months old, and we've come a few times since. She does all over scissor cuts or buzz cuts, whatever you request. All while he's kicking and screaming! I don't know how she does it. If her cuts werent so amazing, we'd probably feel bad putting him through all of that! read more
