Seriously. We had Katie on makeup and Megan on hair. They arrived on time with everything they needed and were friendly, fun and kept everything running smoothly throughout the day. Katie made me the woodland fairy princess of my dreams and Megan definitely understood the assignment when I asked for a bohemian fishtail braid with flowers integrated into the whole thing. She even practiced on a mannequin at home after my trial to get everything just right. Truly can't say enough good things about HHB! Oh, I also had a lash lift and tint by Ashley a week or so before the wedding and she did an amazing job as well. I asked do not take more than an inch off as she was cutting. She cut off so much I look like a kindergartner who cut their own hair. I said they were too short . Her response - "don't worry they'll grow back" . But in the meantime I need to deal with super short bangs?? Really?? - Secondly she added toner to my hair after the highlights (was never done previously) which made my hair look darker. Why? I specifically said I liked my previous hair color. Why change it without asking me ??? - THE KILLER - charged me 25% more than my last appointment without any notice. So expecting to pay $140 (w/o tip) for my hair appt was now $185. It's ironic that I continually get reminders of my hair appointment via text & email but no forewarning of the price increase. They're the most unprofessional and rude people I've ever interacted with. I scheduled my appointment Monday afternoon expecting to just simply receive an email about my appointment. Instead I had a received a message from my hairdresser jasmine asking if I wanted highlights in my hair?? In my appointment I had stated that I had three colors in my hair and was simply looking for a touch up and to redo my roots. I was not on my phone all day due to being at work and when I get home I see my appointments canceled. Absolutely frustrated I message asking why my appointment was canceled stating how extremely unprofessional it is to cancel someone's hair appointment not even 24 hours before the appointment but all she had to say was that "it was her policy" and it would be a bigger service which no it wouldn't, it's a color touch up, she refused to even see my hair before canceling my appointment a second time when I made it again so keep in mind she didn't even have any clue what she was working with. My hair is a super easy fix everyone told me that and when I got my hair done in Florida they told me it would be about $90 to recolor it which is what you guys charge but then she's telling me it's a bigger service and she can't do it? So now I have to go on vacation with my hair faded and looking like this when I could've looked for other places earlier. Now it's definitely too late as I leave tomorrow and I've wasted my time and energy.

Did not know what to expect, just knew I wanted my hair colored and cut and shaped into a short bob. The stylist was running about 15 minutes late when I got there on time, but did not realize she had another client that was taking a substantial amount of time to bleach out some old color and then to apply new color. Needless to say, a color and cut took over 3 1/2 hours! It would have been appreciated if there was an "I'm sorry for running behind", but there was no acknowledgement of how late she was running. Very disappointed in the cut which was not tapered nor short enough. The color was ok, nothing that can't be fixed somewhere else. I'll probably find a salon now, rather than waiting when another color is needed to get the hair cut I wish I had received. I had a feeling when I walked in and wasn't greeted that I wouldn't be happy. Wish I listened to that feeling!

Letting my hair revert back to its naturally curly state has been tough. My hair was too long and basically all one length, but getting stringy and thin with the loss. I saw this salon when I googled "cutting curly hair," and made an appointment with Michelle. It was the ray of hope I needed. Michelle listened and clearly understood my predicament. She was empathic and asked me questions, and then explained the step-by-step process she'd take to make me feel like I looked normal again. What I received was not only a fantastic cut but a clear and complete tutorial on how to get my hair looking it's best. She showed me each product, the amount used, the goal of each step, and how to get the look on my own. Totally doable. I felt like a celebrity!! I cried. I left the salon looking and feeling better than I had in weeks! The stress of hair loss takes a real toll. But I know now I can look good with what I have, and pray my doctors figure out what's going on and bring it to a halt. Michelle, you are the hair fairy. Truly a miracle worker! I got exactly the haircut I wanted and felt great after. The only kind of funny thing is the mirrors at each chair, they're not like a regular set up. Big tall mirrors are sort of angled against the wall so you will be seeing yourself at a strange angle. I'm sure it's for the design of the space rather than utility but had to share only because I was sincerely looking up my own nose most of the time while having my hair worked on.
