I came here Wed around 1:30pm. I tried checking in on the app around 11am, but unfortunately the stylists take their lunches between 11-1pm, so their was only 2 stylists working. The wait got to be too long and I needed to do other things. I checked the app again later on, and checked in hoping to see Nicole, but she called in sick. I walked in the door and was greeted by another nice stylist named Jackie, who said she'd be with me shortly. I waited about 20 mins since she had another hair cut to do. I asked her to trim my hair 1 1/2 inches, and she asked me if I wanted her to texture my bangs, so I said Yes! Within 15 mins she was done. I told her I used to get coupons in the mail, but she said she thought they stopped sending them out. I had found an online coupon for $5 off, so I asked her if I could combine more then 1 coupon, and she said no. I didn't realize that the senior discounted price isn't considered as a coupon, so my haircut was only $18 instead of $23, which was still a good price these days. If I could do 0 I would. My husband took our son to get a hair cut. Just needed to trim/fade the sides and line up his edges. The lady sat him in the chair, "lined up" his forehead and said she was done. My husband asked what about trimming the sides or lining the back. She said she didn't know how to do that. You work at a salon how do you not know how to cue a hair or use clippers. And WHY WOULD YOU EVEN PUT HIM IN YOUR CHAIR IF YOU DIDNT KNOW WHAT YOU WERE DOING. I've been going to great clips for years and it's steadily been getting worse. My son and I went to get haircuts recently and both were cut way too short despite the guidance given beforehand. The lady cutting my hair also nicked my neck with her clippers and drew blood. Do yourself a favor and find a barber shop in the area. First time going there because my usual spot closed down. I'll not be returning. Be very careful who you get. I have never received a haircut where I looked better before the cut. The fade is uneven. She cut it wayyyyy to short and the sides are longer that the top and it's a straight normal short hair cut. Notthing tricky to it. I've had them done hundreds of times. Usually I'd say no worries and it grows back but she really fucked it up. Ridiculous. I called ahead, told her i was checking if Carla was in because shes the only one in 5x there that has cut my hair good. She said no, only weekdays. I told her id still like to come down and id be there in 45 mins. She had all my info. End of conversation. I show up speak to same woman. She tells me no call ins. She didnt tell me this over phone. She says you have to do it online and im in huge rush. I ask to speak with manager because im in rush, another stylist comes up while im pleading my case whos not thr manager and says im being disrespectful and making others feel uncomfortable for pleading my case! Brought my father here and I signed up on the wait list using their app. It was efficient and we didn't have to wait in the waiting area too long before they called my father's name. The stylist was kind and patient with my father (he's 88 years old and in a wheel chair) and he loved his haircut. We'll be taking him here again in the future. read more

Inconsistent haircuts and worst customer service. You lost 5 customers. This is probably one of the worst Great Clips locations my family has had experiences with. When I went there, not only was did my haircut grow out weird and did not look good a few days later. I ended up going back to my home Great Clips a few weeks later just to get it fixed. My mother had a horrible experience with the wait time (52 minutes) not matching and when she arrived at the approx. wait time they still had 40 minutes. When she was greeted with the lady gave her attitude and was plain rude, and my mother walked out. I would zero stars if I could. The average of 3.5 stars is too generous. read more

Just remember that not all haircuts are the same. This place is a hit-or-miss, it only depends on one factor- how long has the stylist been working there. I got my haircut from Kristal- she was awesome. She has tons of years of experience and she can be really fast. She knows how to fade really well and she is good with scissors as well. I will only go to Kristal from now on; I wouldn't trust anyone else. One thing I really like about this place is their 'Great Clips' app which lets you check in and holds your spot in line. It also tells you an approximate wait time. It is very convenient to use. I will always reserve my 5 stars rating for a barber's professional haircut, like Patrick at AGS. But while I'm always crunched for time, I don't mind getting 2nd class haircuts at Great Clips. read more

There are only unpleasant words to describe my experience here. I went in on a Saturday for a quick trim of my bangs only. It only take 5 minutes to make sure they are straight and not covering my eyes. It is also difficult to see what they are doing when you wear glasses. So I get home and realize that they did not cut them evenly, so one side was longer than the other. Now I need to go back to get this corrected. I cannot get their until Friday due to work and commute. So I go Friday to be told that they have a 5 day limit on returning to fix their poor work. Keep in mind it does not say this on the receipt nor is it posted in the salon. They actually had the audacity to ask me to pay again - what a joke, if I have to pay again, I sure as hell would not pay them to screw it up again! Finally someone with some common sense said she would take care of it, even when the Manager said, "no." Over all go elsewhere, they do not stand behind their work, they have terrible customer service and cannot cut hair properly! This is a definite SKIP IT! read more
