Literally the most amazing salon. Stephanie Moreno does my hair and she always keeps my hair so blonde and so healthy! Stephanie has every intention (& delivers!) on keeping the integrity of your hair while also delivering results you want. The vibe she delivers with her salon is so professional, relaxing, and all about the customer. You should reach out and make an appointment! read more

Oh my goodness! So I went in to get bangs and a new look for my 31st birthday tomorrow. Got colored, cut, and styled by ALEXCIA. She is phenomenal. Super friendly, Attentive, Professional. Did my hair EXACTLY how I wanted it, if not better. Thank you Alexcia!!! Will definitely be back to see her! read more

Alexcia is THE BEST! I have curly hair, 3b/3c type of curl pattern. I was able to get an appointment with Alexcia and I am so happy that I did. She listens. She pays attention. Her attention to detail is fantastic. She is so nice. She also has so much knowledge at such a young age! We worked together to straighten my curly hair (my choice) and give it the best trim. I will be going back to her for sure. The vibe of this whole salon is chill and laid back. Decorated nicely. Very welcoming! read more

Went in to dye my daughters hair and trim mine and touch up roots. $550 later My daughter's hair was left brassy and multiple tones. She is being bullied at school because they think she did it herself. My 'trim' ended up being like 10in. From my butt just past my shoulders. When Kelli showed me how much it was maybe 3in and below my chest. After she 'trimmed' it the cut ended up being above my chest. We are so beyond disappointed! Huge waste of time and money. read more

I MEAN DO I EVEN NEED TO SAY ANYTHING?! Look at those before and afters. If you're coming to Bloom then Kristy is a must see!! She is absolutely incredible and just an amazing person. She listens and knows exactly what I want. I will be going to Kristy until one of us is in the ground. SHE IS THE BOMB.COM. I feel like a bad bitch anytime I leave the salon. Period read more

I had less than a month to help my mother with her frizzy grey hair before she departs for Japan. I was referred to see Tara at bloom and so thankful she was able to squeeze us in. She did an amazing job with my mothers hair that her grey hair did not need anything done to it. She had a Japanese straightening process done and it couldn't get any better than this. Thank you Tara! read more

Kristy Moreno is amazing! My mom and I come to Kristy every few months for a mother daughter hair date. After a couple of years working with Kristy, I couldn't be more happy. She has the skill set, personality, and energy you need, when you want to feel good about yourself. I usually style my hair straight, but I appreciate the curly cut so that I can venture out when I feel like it. read more

I had a really nice first experience at this salon today. I'm headed on a business trip and was overdo for a trim plus I wanted to get a blow out to feel confident and polished. Sabrina was wonderful! She has a confident and kind presence and took my super thick hair and turned it into a sleek, wavy hair style that I'm really happy with. This salon is comfortable and friendly; I enjoyed the banter between the other stylists and customers, and the well lit space, and would definitely go back. read more

Heather is an absolute miracle worker! She knew all the questions I didn't know I even needed to consider and gave me the best consultation on how to treat and style my hair in the future. She took one look at my hair type and it seemed as if she immediately knew what she wanted to do with it and I let her take the reins. I mean... look at this! The picture doesn't even do it half the justice irl. 10/10 recommend! #obsessed read more

Phoebe had scheduled me herself and flaked on me twice, two days in a row. On Tuesday, she cancelled three hours before the appointment because she had a migraine. Rescheduled me herself for Wednesday. On Wednesday, she cancelled AN HOUR before the appointment because of personal issues. We had been communicating in the morning and confirmed the 1pm appointment. At 12 she texts to cancel. I get that life happens, but seriously one hour before the appointment? People wait weeks for hair appointments just to have someone cancel twice in a row? read more

Best hair salon ever! Stephanie does my blonde and my extensions and she's the best I've ever been too!

Love Bloom and Leah S. who has been cutting my hair for a few years. She does a great job with my fine straight hair!

This review is long overdue. I've have my hair done by Cara for the past 6 years and wouldn't think of going to anyone else. She always listens to what I want or what my ideas are and offers great input as well. Her color application and blends have been beautiful and have faded so beautifully. I always leave her chair feeling 100% more confident. read more

I came here last week and I had the most horrible experience. I wanted a pink pastel balayage and made it clear not on my roots. Ideally, I wanted the owner to do my hair, but she said she had another stylist named Kelli and that she was positive could do my hair the way I wanted. I'm aware my hair is dark and thick, but I've seen the owner this with other clients. Additions I spent about 5 1/2 hours I got highlights the toner didn't sit so the pink didn't sit very well and it was just not $400 quality hair service. I reached out to the owner since I trusted her with my hair and her stylist didn't meet the expectations or lacked the skills to do that. I was advised to go for a second toner, but at this point, I don't want to waste more of my time and the hair doesn't blend well. Sadly, the owner didn't want to give me some sort of refund and if you're a girl with dark hair, definitely Kelli Is not the stylist or if you are unsatisfied, the owner won't come to an agreement with you. read more

I wanted to get my hair done before the holidays and my birthday into the New Year. I knew I was running out of time since life has kept me busy these last few months. I searched up salons near me in Vacaville and luckily I came across Bloom's. I read the profiles of each hair stylist and had a haunch to choose Phoebe Olivia. She did not have any openings until after the New Year but had a cancellation last minute for today and I hopped right on it. I am so happy with her work and with the help of her assistant Madisen I was in and out in under 3 hours. She was so fun to talk to and I love her passion for doing hair. She brought my blond back to life....Thank you Phoebe and Madisen. I highly recommend this dynamic duo. read more

Every time Stefanie touches my hair, magic happens! Stefanie has been doing my hair since she was in beauty school. Over the years my hair has changed dramatically (pregnancy, postpartum hair loss, hair loss caused by medical issues) and every time I see Stefanie she's able to give my hair so much life. She's always been able to adapt to my current situation and make things happen. I love that Stefanie is always continuing her education to stay up on the current trends. I love the new techniques that she brings to the chair. I just can't imagine anyone else ever touching my hair. Thanks, Stef! read more

I recently had my hair taken care of by Ashley Ball and I love it! I'm in the process of growing my hair out and am honestly very clueless when it comes to styling and maintenance. I decided to take the plunge and try out balayage and I am SO happy I trusted Ashley with my hair. She's talented, kind and takes her time with you. I can't thank her enough for taking the time to explain the styling process to me and giving me pointers --- you can tell she loves what she does because she eagerly and happily shares her skills! Definitely check out her portfolio linked through Bloom's website. In regards to the salon, Bloom is a gorgeous spot. The entire staff was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was great. The instant I walked in and sat down a gal came over to check me in and offer me a drink. Everyone smiles and makes you feel welcomed. I can't wait for my next visit! read more

I love Bloom Hair & Beauty Studio! Julie has been making my hair AWESOME for 15+ yrs... I completely trust her to do an amazing job each and every time! Her knowledge of color and products is amazing. She is a true professional!Honest too if I ask for a hair cut or color she goes over how it will or will not work with my hair... love that! It has been a while since I have treated myself to a quality cut and color and I was not disappointed. I saw Julie because I was told she knew curly hair. I was not disappointed she knew the exact cut that would give me shape. She also spent the appointment giving me tips on how to style it. I appreciated her knowledge I was able to go home and recreate what she did for me at the appointment. I so appreciated her patience and knowledge of curly hair and color. read more

I had appointment with Marya Martinez today. I was not happy with what supposed to be lighted on my second session, I felt I walked in lighter than when she finished. She left my hair super brassy orange tones with a blunt line at the top of my head. I let her know I was not happy and if she could fix it, she said NO because she's busy, I asked for a full refund considering my hair had breakage. She refused to help me and refused some sort of refund! I feel she didn't care enough to do something to help, she said she's moving in June so I guess to her it didn't matter. I'm stuck with an awful color and it Easter weekend I will be spending with family with an awful color. read more

I've had my hair done by the Julie for years! I specifically love the Keratin treatments which are life changing. I've gotten other smoothing treatments that left my hair limp and stripped the color out. Julie takes pride in her business and makes a point to use quality products but remains competitively and reasonably priced. She runs an extremely professional and talented crew. I would trust my hair with any of her staff. Highly recommend! read more

I'm truly saddened that I feel the need to submit this review, but I feel it's important for others to know that if you respect your time and expect others to do the same, this salon is not for you (unless you book through Julie or Stefanie, obviously, as they get rave reviews!). Alas, this wasn't the case with me. Jessica was referred to me by one of my good friends and I was initially excited to try someone new, but that excitement was short-lived. For my first appt, Jessica was 10 minutes late with no apology or concern for my time. I gave it another chance 6 weeks later when she called me while I was on my to the appt (I was 15 minutes out from a 9am appt; coming from Davis) to tell me that she would be 30 minutes late due to a mix-up at home. I ended up sitting outside the salon for nearly 45 minutes waiting and, again, no apology or consideration for my time in the least. I was visibly irritated and, still, nothing was said or recognized. THEN, because I'm a glutton for disappointment, I booked ANOTHER appt for 6 weeks out (yesterday, 8/27) and when I texted Jessica to confirm the appt that morning before I left the house (I would have been leaving in 45 minutes to head to Vacaville), she claimed that she didn't have me on her schedule and when I reminded her that we had booked it, stated that the appt "must have slipped by me when I informed everyone I was taking 3 weeks off to get the kids ready for school". Really?! I have kids, too! They also started school! I, too, am busy!! We all have responsibilities and this type of time-management (or lack thereof), lack of commitment and obvious lack of empathy for others' time is disappointing. So, in the end, just heed this warning when booking Jessica through Bloom, as you'll be waiting for the other shoe to drop when she doesn't show up on time or postpones/cancels altogether last-minute. read more

I have always been very particular about my hairstylist -- I like shorter, riskier cuts and so I have to go somewhere I trust. I had Deanna as my stylist and not only was she warm, friendly and super cute but also immensely talented! She took the time to get to know me, my routines, my preferences and my style which translated over to a great cut! The only reason this salon doesn't get 5 stars is because the products they use aren't cruelty-free, which is important to me. But, it's hard to find a good stylist so I'll stick with Deanna and hope that some day they introduce more cruelty-free products into their styling. read more

Had great service with Liz and will be coming back for my touch up of my color. Lovers by new trim also !

Julie is the owner of Bloom Hair and Beauty Salon and my hair stylist. When I first came to her, I had several different hair colors in my hair from previous colorings and my hair was in need of a cut as it was several different lengths. Julie is very knowledgeable in the coloring process and my hair color looks so natural now. I am also super happy with the trims she gives me as my hair no longer knots up at the ends. It's obvious she keeps up on the latest and greatest as it shows in my hair. I highly recommend this salon! read more
