I extremely loved my hairdresser Adam from Hawaii but since kidnapping is against the law, I had to leave him. That being said, I got to know Alyssa from platinum. A Solano community graduate (Salon tech), I had good conversations, I was offered drink and snack while getting my hair did, and she was on point with my hair as I really like it. However, I think I was totally spoiled with Adam from Waikiki. She forgot to put a little Vaseline along my forehead so the color wouldn't stick to my skin so much after the rinse. The massage during my rinse was good but I think it could've been a little longer. Alyssa only does color and extensions which she seems to be knowledgeable about, but I was kinda hoping to find a one stop shop for doing a perm once in a while. I was pressed for time as my family and I were in the process of moving, trying to get my son's school situated, and was going to a wedding in half moon bay at the end of August. She gave great vibes at Platinum hair salon but she isn't just for me. I do though recommend her as she did good work in general. Thanks Alyssa and Platinum Hair Salon.

I gave her some minimal guidelines and allowed her to add her own twist to it and I was amazed! I absolutely love my hair! Trisha takes her time, and makes certain you are happy and get what you want. I trusted her and did not leave disappointed. After I got home, I had forgotten to change my bedsheets and pillows (which are white) and slept with freshly dyed hair on them, I was worried the color would transfer; however, I was pleasantly surprised to not see a single smudge of color on my bedding. She uses high quality products and I am one happy gal! It's now just over a week later, I have washed my hair once and the color looks amazingly vibrant! I will return!

I've been searching for a curly hair specialist for months, and if you have curls, you already know…read morehow real that struggle is. I'm very particular about who touches my hair, so finding the right person felt nearly impossible--until a little moment of serendipity changed everything! I was getting a pedicure when a prettyl woman with curls walked into the nail salon. Before I left, I worked up the courage to ask her if she knew someone who specialized in cutting, treating, and styling curly hair... and to my surprise, she said she was the one! Her name is Neisha. I booked an appointment with her the very next day at Salon Philosophie in Vacaville, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the energy was warm, welcoming, and positive. Everyone made me feel right at home, and you could tell by the clients walking out that people were leaving feeling confident and happy. Neisha herself is amazing--so sweet, attentive, and professional. What I appreciated most is that she asked detailed questions about my expectations. It's rare to find a stylist who truly listens instead of just doing what they think is best. I asked for a trim and highlights, and she absolutely delivered. I am in LOVE with my color! She also gave me a silk press, which came out beautiful. I'm a natural curly girl through and through, so it didn't last as long as intended (sorry, Neisha! ), but I especially love how the highlights look with my curls--they really pop! I will definitely be going back to Neisha and highly recommend her to all my fellow curly girls looking for someone who truly understands textured hair. Salon Philosophie is also a one-stop shop--they offer braids, weaves, silk presses, color, cuts, and more. They even have a nail technician and a barber on site! I've already recommended Neisha and the salon to several friends, and I genuinely stand by my recommendation. Thank you, Neisha, for helping me fall back in love with my hair!

Nichole is the owner of Mirror Court Salon and I have been going to her for years now. My best friend recommended her to me when I complained of not having any hairstylists in the area listen to what I want. Now Nichole is the only stylist I will allow to touch my hair!! She has brought me from my jet black hair to an icy blonde for a solid year and a half and while I loved the color, my poor hair just needed a break from the constant bleaching. A year later, I decided to experiment with a little caramel color and again, she delivered exactly what we discussed! She is truly amazing and listens to what you want while keeping your hair as healthy as possible. Before my wedding last October I was on the fence about which extensions to use and if I really even needed it. Nichole showed me the difference between clip ins and the halo- and while the halo is on the pricier side it's definitely worth the price! My hair blends in seamlessly each time and it honestly holds up so well! I highly recommend Nichole and Mirror Court Salon for all your hairstyling needs. I live an hour and a half away and still book with her every 6-8 weeks because she's just THAT GOOD!
