I gave her some minimal guidelines and allowed her to add her own twist to it and I was amazed! I absolutely love my hair! Trisha takes her time, and makes certain you are happy and get what you want. I trusted her and did not leave disappointed. After I got home, I had forgotten to change my bedsheets and pillows (which are white) and slept with freshly dyed hair on them, I was worried the color would transfer; however, I was pleasantly surprised to not see a single smudge of color on my bedding. I have found my forever salon, and my forever hair stylist, Ally L. I've been here twice now and both times were exceptional. I wanted a colorful but complicated look and Ally just jumped in, worked her magic and it turned out AMAZING! Amazing doesn't cut it. Brought my teen son in for a haircut and hot shave with Jeff. He gave him a terrific haircut and sculpted some incredible side burns for him. Next up was the hot shave. As he shaved my sons face, he gave him advice on how to maintain it until he came back in for another shave. And that's when I knew this place was special. I was paying for haircut and shave, but Jeff gave a teen boy confidence and pride. That's no small feat. My son left saying he couldn't wait to go back in! What??? Well to write a review of this place would be to say that, it's at a great location, easy to get to. The salon is clean and well kept up, the name does it great justice. For me I've known Jeff the barber for many years and I've only had him cut my hair for the past 7 years I would say and he's totally worth it. I know some men may be turned away because it may be more of the salon but let me tell you if you go there to grab haircut, a trim, or even a shave from Jeff. You shall get the full men's barbershop experience like no other place I promise you that. I highly recommend this place to anyone, prices are just right and after you get a haircut from Jeff it feels as if you paid for a $100 haircut in the city. His precision in cutting hair is phenomenal, no hair is left out of place. If you want hair gel in, he will put some in, and the products he uses are just excellent and of the highest quality. I have been getting my hair done by my amaaazingggggg hair stylist Rachelle Bayles for over 8 years now. She has been at a few different salons during that time, but out of all of them, this one is my favorite!!!! Every time I come into this salon, I instantly feel comfortable and welcomed. The people that work here are all so nice and SO talented. The owner has been at the salon every time I've gone in to get my hair done and she is so friendly and has such great energy. The vibe here is awesome, the people are awesome, and my stylist is a MAGICIAN! When I first came to her, my hair was in terrible condition. It was ruined by my pervious hair stylists in another town. Rachelle was able to get my hair healthy again, even while going blonde! She's not afraid to tell you "no" in order to maintain the integrity of your hair, and slowly get you where you want to be (if need be), where past stylists I've had will just do what I asked even though it was ruining my hair in the process. Hands down the best salon in Vacaville. The stylists here are awesome. I love the chill vibe in the salon, and I never feel awkward or uncomfortable coming here. What makes this place stand out for me is the fact that my husband and I can both come here to get our hair done. My husband gets his fades done by Jeff. He always comes home lookin fresh . Most barber shops in town have a 1-2 hour wait (MADNESS). Since Jeff takes appointments, you never have to worry about putting aside hours of your day just to get a simple fade. Plus, you'll never feel like you're being rushed to get out of there because there's such a long line behind you. I get my hair done by Rachelle. We've only lived in Vacaville for 3 years, and it's been a challenge finding the right stylist. I was seriously going months without cutting my hair the first couple of years here because I couldn't find a stylist that worked for me. I had to wait until my family and I took a trip to LA to get my hair done with my stylist down there. About this time last year tho, I found a stylist that I liked. Her salon was out in Sacramento, but she ended up moving to Elk Grove and that commute is just way too far for me. So I was back on the hunt for a new stylist. I was tired of commuting to get my hair done and wanted to find someone in town. Rachelle was the solution. She's super nice and easy to talk to. The best thing about her definitely has to be her coloring skills. She's amazing! I love that she won't sit there and tell you, "I don't like doing that on my clients." She doesn't try to sell you products, and she really listens to what you want to do to your hair. My first appointment was a long process, and I was still not 100% sure what I wanted to do by the time I got in that seat. Rachelle never rushed me, and she gave me pointers to help keep the maintenance low. I came out of that salon feeling like a million bucks! Let's face it ladies, sooner or later there's gonna come a time when you have to decide whether to go cold turkey and let nature take its course (with letting the greys grow out) or completely cover it with color. I called to make an appt and was quoted $35 for a cut, wash, and style. I get there and I tell the stylist my hair needs to be washed because it had mousse and hair spray. She went on to brushing it out, did my cut, and then began to flat iron my bangs and put styling cream. I asked if she was going to wash it and she said no because she had to leave and she charged me $40. I am pleased with my cut, just not the level of service I received for the price. read more
