After so many years changing hair dressers every few years and always being disappointed, I have finally found the best salon in Vacaville: Simply Fab. The staff at the salon is very welcoming and professional. Bianca is the best hairdresser. She is very knowledgeable about hair color, hair stile, gives very valuable input on your hair and she is absolutely fabulous. My husband also is very happy with his haircut. Thank you Bianca. read more

The hairstylist that did my hair did not do what I asked her .the toner in my hair was not the one that I wanted. I mentioned to her at the salon and she proceeded to tell me that I can come back. also, she did not bleach my hair the appropriate amount of time. Leaving my hair botched. Some pieces of my hair were still black. I kindly asked her to give me some type of refund. she refused and said that I can come back. not only did she not do what I asked once but twice I guess the first time when she did my hair and she didn't do what I asked I should've went back that was on me, but I definitely do not recommend this girl named Alicia I can't speak for the rest of the girls there but yes, definitely I wouldn't recommend her read more

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience. I paid around $200 for a color service, and while my hair looked beautiful immediately after the appointment, over the following weeks it became extremely dry and developed significant breakage. At first, I assumed it was my products, so I switched to color-safe shampoo and conditioner and changed my routine before concluding there was a bigger issue. I recently had to pay for an additional treatment with another stylist because my hair had become so dry and brittle. This wasn't my first experience with similar issues after seeing this stylist, and I've never had this level of breakage after having my hair colored by other stylists. What disappointed me the most was the customer service. When I initially reached out, I was offered a refund. After explaining the condition of my hair, that refund was later withdrawn because it had been two months and I had seen another stylist. However, I only saw another stylist because I was trying to repair the condition of my hair. I also don't typically have my hair colored every few weeks it's usually several months between appointments so the damage wasn't immediately obvious to me. I understand that all color services carry risks, but I was disappointed that my concerns were ultimately dismissed after a refund had already been offered. I can only speak from my own experience, but based on both the results I experienced and how the situation was handled, I won't be returning. read more

I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Alicia who worked wonders with my blonde balayage locks. From the moment I walked into the super cute salon, I felt like I was in expert hands. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and she took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and assured me we could achieve my look. The result was a stunning I was sooo happy with the outcome. Especially since it's always so hard for stylist to achieve blonde on my hair. Not only was I happy with color but she also gave me a haircut that added to the overall look and complements my face when I wear my hair naturally curly. The entire experience was enjoyable she also noticed I was yawning and gave me an energy refresher she sells that WOKE ME UP! SOO tasty! I can't recommend Alicia enough I'll definitely be returning soon for all my hair needs to Simply Fab! Thank you again Alicia read more

I'd like to start with the salon itself it's adorable and really comfortable. Not so much welcoming for new customers but I didn't go back anyways. I got my hair done here about two years ago by Alicia and I'm still having to go through a lot to fix it. I went in for a simple color and trim.. I really didn't have the best hair to start but the cut was completely a butchered cut which I hadn't even asked for and the color was not at all what I wanted when she was done I left in tears and honestly would never recommend. I pay Alot in extensions just to fix what was destroyed which I never had to prior to her touching my hair. Attached are photos of my hair currently, not having been cut or trimmed sense . There's also photos of what my hair was when I went in and also photos of it after the botched cut. read more

I've had my number of experiences at other salons. I can honestly say one of the biggest things that I look for when I sit in a hairstylist chair is professionalism. SimplyFab salon is beautiful, elegant & really sets the mood. Welcoming, with a glass of champagne ready for when you come in. Fabiola "brings me back to life." I love how talented she is in what she does. How honest and upfront she is about end results and her genuine excitement for her clients satisfaction. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair but her. Again, from past experiences I could honestly say that it's more to a hairstylist then being "great at what they do" if they are only miserable while doing it. Faby is passionate, creative and she LISTENS to what you want and does her best to meet whatever crazy expectations I come in with. She is accommodating to my busy work/school schedule. Thanks Fabiola, I truly appreciate you See the final results after my first session back to lighter days read more

Round 2 Balayage with Stephanie. She is AMAZING!!! She is not only an excellent stylist but also a wonderful person. She wasn't feeling well but knew I was looking forward to getting my hair done so I could surprise my husband. She stayed and did my color, not feeling well and was still her bubbly self. I'm a client for life. I highly recommend her. So I was wanting to get my hair done but didn't really know who to go to. Of course that's when I turned to Yelp... After going through all the salons and reading all the reviews I decided to book an appt. with Stephanie at Simply Fab. After looking at photos I really liked her Balayage technique. I am beyond thrilled with my hair color. She did an amazing job and my hair is in better condition leaving there then when I walked in. I definitely found my new girl and my new salon. WORST HAIR CUT I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. I came in with an appointment with Leonor. I had a picture of how i wanted my hair cut. I asked her three times if she could do it and she said yes. Long story short, I'm missing a big chunk of hair in the back. Never again. If you love your hair. Don't go to simply fab. They will ruin it and you. I'm devastated. I'm posting a picture of how i wanted my hair cut and a picture of what she did to the back of my hair. read more

I got my hair done at Simply Fab about a month ago, and as much as I tried to let it go, I cannot stop thinking about my experience I had with a certain hairstylist (I prefer not to say her name because maybe this was just a one time mistake that costed someone a lot of money). The first picture (left) is what I got done at Simply Fab, I paid $260 for that. The second picture (right) is after I got it fixed at a different salon. I'm so upset with my experience but I'm not one for confrontation or to be rude. But anyone in their right mind can look at those comparison pictures and know that the left looks horrible and I was completely ripped off. if I didn't pay so much for it I would have just dyed my hair back to my natural color but luckily my friend recommended me to another stylist at a different salon who was able to fix it. read more

My hair was sooo damaged before because of my constant flat ironing/curling also I had my hair bleached because I really wanted a platinum blonde but was not able to get the result I wanted it turned orange and my hair is basically dead after that (I've done it from a different salon) so I went to Simply Fab for a fix and it did not disappoint. Rae (beauty made with love) was the one who helped me. She's really great, friendly she's the one who did my Brazilian blowout treatment. She taught me stuff like how to care for hair and etc. My hair was matted and unmanageable before the treatment but now its super smooth and shiny. I really love it now. read more

I always regret not taking before and after pics, but I always forget. I was reading reviews on here, and there's only some that are upset, and I think it may be the specific hairstylist you're going to. Make sure you look them up before hand before you make an appointment! Anyways, my favorite stylist, Amy, left. But she did have a close colleague of hers that is also amazing, and referred her to me, which is Ashley Roberts. Guys. She's great. She does great color and color correction. She's also very hospitable, and very friendly. And during COVID- they have protocol in place such as masks, they sanitize every seat inbetween clients, and their waiting room is unavailable. So you sit in your car and text your stylist until they're ready for you, and they'll let you in. I felt very safe in that area, and I haven't gotten a haircut since the end of 2019 due to the pandemic, so for someone that's been extremely cautious, I felt very safe in there. I hope this review helps those that need a salon but are scared to due to covid! read more

Im not a person to review but I had a very unhappy experience here, and would not recommend. It was my first time getting my hair dyed and was excited for a transformation. My natural hair color is a dark brown and asked for a copper color. I expressed my concerns to the stylist that If it was possible to get that color in one session and she confirmed, and this was very important to me bc I'm not from the area and traveled over an hour away and specifically wanted that color for my birthday and Halloween. After she dyed my hair (no bleach) I got a subtle burgundy color that was barley visible and was unhappy since it's not what I asked for. I did my research in advance and knew I had to get my hair bleached to get to that color that's why I was so confused on why she went with color right away. After she noticed that my hair didn't "lift", she said I would need another session and was left with a color that's not close to what I asked which got me upset bc It's not easy for me to travel there again and had many upcoming events that relied on why I wanted my hair that color. After expressing my feelings through message she said she told me about her "7 day policy" for any fixtures which she never mentioned to me during my visit and was also inconvenient because she knew I don't live in the area. The hairstylist also accused me of lying about my hair color history (which there was none bc Ive never dyed my hair) which is ridiculous. I don't recommend it here overall especially for someone who's never had their hair dyed before. You would expect someone who has 4 years of experience to know that in order to get a naturally dark hair to a vibrant color they would need to bleach the hair but I think she was either in a rush to go home early or had an appointment after me which is unprofessional considering that I made the appointment weeks in advance. read more
