I had my first haircut somewhere else and unfortunately it didn't turn out right. When Jessica looked at my hair, she noticed a lot of random short layers throughout that didn't really make sense (which I didn't even realize at first because it wasn't super obvious). She took the time to fix my side bangs and blend everything properly, and my hair looks so much better now. She also did my partner's hair and really listened to the inspiration we showed her. Jessica doesn't rush her work at all she takes her time and really polishes everything toward the end so it looks just right. The lounge itself is clean, cozy, and has a really welcoming vibe. We were lucky to get an early appointment, but I can see why she gets booked quickly, so I definitely recommend scheduling ahead. Highly recommend Jessica. I finally feel comfortable trusting someone with my hair here in Fairfield!

I reached out to Jessica via text and she responded the next day, she asked what I was thinking of doing, asked for pictures of what my hair currently looked like, etc. I was able to send her pictures of what I wanted, she was able to give me an estimate of how much the service would be and was able to get me booked the same week. The salon was easy to find, parking was fairly easy, my appointment was on a Monday morning at 9. I thought it was going to be there for the majority of the day but to my surprise, everything was finished by 12pm. Jessica was super sweet, make sure I was comfortable, listened to what I wanted and executed exactly what I was wanting. Thanks Jessica!

For those curious about what precautions they took because of covid: the salon was very clean, they sanitized after finishing with a customer. The stylists wore masks at all times and customers were expected to wear masks as well. If you didn't have a mask, they had extras. I'd been before and have extremely curly hair, I booked an appointment with Jordan and she cut it in a way I'd only dreamed of having it cut. However, when I went back for the second time, it was the worst customer service I've ever received anywhere. I booked the service online (haircut only) and came all the way from Sacramento. I arrived on time and Jordan was finishing up with a client. She never greeting or acknowledged me (which I thought was weird), but w/e. Then the last client was taking 15 minutes over, and never once did Jordan make a remark acknowledging it, apologizing or still greeting me. The only reason I knew she even knew for sure I was her client was because I was sitting at a waiting bench directly near her section, and she clearly called on me next after finally finishing the first girl. I finally get in the chair and think it's weird, but again, I loved the cut the first time and was excited. We move on. The entire time Jordan had the most negative energy I've ever experienced with anyone. She was in a bad mood. Apparently there had been an outage on the entire block that had the power go out the week before or something? And all she did was complain about the cost of everything it was going to take to repair and replace her washer and dryers for the studio. Yes, it's a super unfortunate circumstance, but when I tell you none of this was a business-level appropriate complaint about a bad time kinda thing, trust me. I mean it was a "if this is my problem, it's now EVERYONE's problem" kinda energy. Like, girl what? lol She just kept going off... everything was everyone else's fault about this. Tbh- I'm not much of a talker at appointments, so I get hair stylists needing to chat with the room about things, but this energy was diff. Long story short, the appointment I booked was at a rate that was set very clearly online. When we finished, she charged me $50 more than the pricing online. My hair is not extra long, its curly but not matted, not difficult, none of that. Nor was there any explanation given to her from the jump in price. Tbh- I paid it. I knew I was never coming back after that. The entire time she complained about how much everything was costing her and I knew in my gut she was taking it out on clients to pay for it extra even though the agreement online was completely different. On top of her being late and not greeting me, I knew this was something I'd want to tell others about. ---- Main Point, TDLR: The reason I gave it was a 2-star is only because the haircut was good. If you want a good haircut, sure, maybe. But if you want to support good people in your community. Don't go here. There's too many other talented stylists out there to support economically. And if you do.... make sure you are 100% clear up front with Jordan about how much you'll be paying beforehand. Best of luck.

I dont know what the differences are in terms of products and process but I love how Leslie did my hair for a lil bit over than 3 hours. With that in mind, my time and money were worth it. Leslie is friendly, considerate, and a good listener. She made me feel so comfortable the whole time. She speaks to you and explains every single thing she would do and what it suppose to do to your hair. Even the other staff are very nice, the way they work with their clients and make conversations, showing how they have developed relationships already. I was given a gift for a mani pedi with Kimmie. It was the best mani pedi my nails have ever seen…read more However, it was also the longest I've ever been at a salon. I didn't realize it until I left, but I was there 3.5 hours! Way too long with my busy schedule, but damn my toes look amazing. She was super nice and very thorough and even gave me the bottle of polish when I was leaving! The salon was busy on and off while I was there, I only got to see the front room downstairs.

I am very disappointed....I contact JCP to schedule and hair appointment in November 2018 for my daughters wedding no one call me back. January 2019 I made another attempt to get my hair done for my birthday so I called back to speak with the Salon manager I was told she was not in I left a message for a return call a few days later the manager called me back with an apology she stated they were short staff...I explain that I've had bad experiences with beauticians and I wanted someone to do my hair that was highly skilled as a beautician and that I wanted a pixie cut style. The Salon Manager recommended Brandy she stated that she was seventeen year veteran. I trusted the manager word so I went into JCP a few days prior to met with Brandy for a hair consultation I showed her my hair and pictures of short pixie cut styles that i desired I asked her if she was able to created the styles in the pictures that I showed her she said YES. Today 1/28/19 I called Brandy to asked if she could sew a few hair tracks to create fullness she said yes of course that she would charge me additional $5 per track instead of $20 per track which was ridiculous and to be paid directly to her separate from the cost of doing my hair to be paid directly to JCPENNEY...I'm so pissed I got home and look in the mirror and noticed the tracks was sewed into my hair like an amateur crooked my hair was styled like an 75 year old lady...Never again...I getting my money back A.S.A.P read more

She has brought me from my jet black hair to an icy blonde for a solid year and a half and while I loved the color, my poor hair just needed a break from the constant bleaching.
