She disinfected her station and you know what time I was in the chair being serviced? 11:30! It got even better from there. She was very informative about what she was doing with the cut and why. I could feel the passion she has for what she does. She asked me was I satisfied throughout the cutting process. She also suggested me to check back with her after I washed my hair because it's naturally curly/wavy, (I came in with it flat ironed)to make sure I was completely satisfied with my cut. The shop decor is beautiful and clean. I will definitely be back when it's time for a reshape.

I gave her some minimal guidelines and allowed her to add her own twist to it and I was amazed! I absolutely love my hair! Trisha takes her time, and makes certain you are happy and get what you want. I trusted her and did not leave disappointed. After I got home, I had forgotten to change my bedsheets and pillows (which are white) and slept with freshly dyed hair on them, I was worried the color would transfer; however, I was pleasantly surprised to not see a single smudge of color on my bedding. She uses high quality products and I am one happy gal! It's now just over a week later, I have washed my hair once and the color looks amazingly vibrant! I will return!

I literally made a Yelp account for the first time ever to just leave this review. Absolutely…read moreterrible experience that I still think about years later. First, this wasn't my first time here. I'd been before and have extremely curly hair, I booked an appointment with Jordan and she cut it in a way I'd only dreamed of having it cut. However, when I went back for the second time, it was the worst customer service I've ever received anywhere. I booked the service online (haircut only) and came all the way from Sacramento. I arrived on time and Jordan was finishing up with a client. She never greeting or acknowledged me (which I thought was weird), but w/e. Then the last client was taking 15 minutes over, and never once did Jordan make a remark acknowledging it, apologizing or still greeting me. The only reason I knew she even knew for sure I was her client was because I was sitting at a waiting bench directly near her section, and she clearly called on me next after finally finishing the first girl. I finally get in the chair and think it's weird, but again, I loved the cut the first time and was excited. We move on. The entire time Jordan had the most negative energy I've ever experienced with anyone. She was in a bad mood. Apparently there had been an outage on the entire block that had the power go out the week before or something? And all she did was complain about the cost of everything it was going to take to repair and replace her washer and dryers for the studio. Yes, it's a super unfortunate circumstance, but when I tell you none of this was a business-level appropriate complaint about a bad time kinda thing, trust me. I mean it was a "if this is my problem, it's now EVERYONE's problem" kinda energy. Like, girl what? lol She just kept going off... everything was everyone else's fault about this. Tbh- I'm not much of a talker at appointments, so I get hair stylists needing to chat with the room about things, but this energy was diff. Long story short, the appointment I booked was at a rate that was set very clearly online. When we finished, she charged me $50 more than the pricing online. My hair is not extra long, its curly but not matted, not difficult, none of that. Nor was there any explanation given to her from the jump in price. Tbh- I paid it. I knew I was never coming back after that. The entire time she complained about how much everything was costing her and I knew in my gut she was taking it out on clients to pay for it extra even though the agreement online was completely different. On top of her being late and not greeting me, I knew this was something I'd want to tell others about. ---- Main Point, TDLR: The reason I gave it was a 2-star is only because the haircut was good. If you want a good haircut, sure, maybe. But if you want to support good people in your community. Don't go here. There's too many other talented stylists out there to support economically. And if you do.... make sure you are 100% clear up front with Jordan about how much you'll be paying beforehand. Best of luck.

Good hair doesn't happen by accident...it happens by appointment!…read more And if you want GREAT HAIR, then this is the salon you want to book your appointment at! Nichole is the owner of Mirror Court Salon and I have been going to her for years now. My best friend recommended her to me when I complained of not having any hairstylists in the area listen to what I want. Now Nichole is the only stylist I will allow to touch my hair!! She has brought me from my jet black hair to an icy blonde for a solid year and a half and while I loved the color, my poor hair just needed a break from the constant bleaching. A year later, I decided to experiment with a little caramel color and again, she delivered exactly what we discussed! She is truly amazing and listens to what you want while keeping your hair as healthy as possible. Before my wedding last October I was on the fence about which extensions to use and if I really even needed it. Nichole showed me the difference between clip ins and the halo- and while the halo is on the pricier side it's definitely worth the price! My hair blends in seamlessly each time and it honestly holds up so well! I highly recommend Nichole and Mirror Court Salon for all your hairstyling needs. I live an hour and a half away and still book with her every 6-8 weeks because she's just THAT GOOD!

My friends have gotten their curly hair cuts even before the diva and curly hair cuts were popular on social media. So I finally reached out and booked with Calise. She is so bubbly and comforting and makes you feel comfortable with her years of experience. I scheduled in advance for a Saturday appointment. The Tease Beauty Lounge was easy to find within a shopping center and has plenty of parking. Very nice and spacious and clean and sleek inside. She washed and conditioned my hair, was able to cut my hair and then was able to style my natural curly hair within an hour and wasn't too expensive. I can't wait to come back and see how my natural curls grow out!

She makes sure to communicate and confirm the appointment at the beginning of the week. Her pricing is very reasonable and consistent-no surprises. I have never had a "bad" hair experience with her. When I tell her to cut a certain amount, it is always that and never more. I have tried many colors over the years and she always gets it right (some photos attached). I have naturally dark hair and have had many balayages by her as well, none of which have caused any "frying" of my hair. Her products are top quality and she even has some natural options for those with allergies. As far as the salon, it is always clean and comfortable. There are three private suite rooms for each of the stylists. Great background music and overall vibe. It's also in a prime location near downtown. This is not a paid ad but very over due and well deserved. You will not regret trying this salon.

That's when she found this place and I was glad to be able to capture some bts shots. The owner opened up early for us on a Tuesday morning and it was perfect!!! Being in a shop all alone can be a bit odd, especially on your wedding day, but Erin made the bride feel like she was in her hotel and providing some of the best conversations while she worked her skills. The end result was amazing and the style matched the brides' personality to the "T". As the photographer for the entire day, I saw how well the style held up in all the photos. That requires some skills, as we photos in Napa, Sacramento, and then back to Napa Valley all in the same day... and the shots at the end of the day looked just as good as the morning.
