I usually like bringing my mom and my kids here but after last Thursday I decided that I won't bring my family here anymore. Don't get me wrong, Leslie is someone who I would trust. She's good with my mom and my stepdaughter but the other lady that works with her, I'd skip. I brought my kiddo and told her that she just needed a trim and some layers. She wasn't friendly with my kiddo who usually is a chatter bug. After a few minutes of silence, I looked up and noticed my girl's wide eyed look as the hairstylist brushed her hair roughly and did a few quick snips and quickly rang us up. I asked my 10 year old kiddo's opinion and she said that she thinks that the lady didn't seem to like her job and maybe she should do something else and not take out her frustration on her hair. I agreed. I now understood my son's trepidation when I said we were getting his hair cut here and he shared a similar experience where someone was rough with his hair. I left a 2 Star because Leslie is excellent and is better dealing with people. It's unfortunate her counterpart is not. read more

My whole family has been going to Red Comb Salon for a few years and has always had great service. Everyone is nice, and the place is clean. Leslye is great and can get all of our haircuts done quickly, which helps with our busy schedule. They're usually super busy, and it's just walk-in, so sometimes you have to wait. We usually try to be the first ones in, and we are in and out quickly. We will continue to go and get haircuts regularly here. read more

Elena is my new best friend (and new Filipina Tita). I have paid a pretty price over the years getting my haircut and for $17 Elena perfectly executed the look I was going for. I have really long damaged thin hair and wanted short layers (I was going for a super layered early 2000s look) and was worried how it would come out but I am beyond satisfied. I will def be coming here from now on. I went home and did a quick curl so I could see the layers a little more (see pics). She also did a great job with my 6 year old sons hair. He enjoyed playing with the waiting are toys while mama got her hair done. Make sure u tip her bc you can't find a cut this good at her price. Thank you Elena! read more

This was once a place I felt confident about bringing my two year for a haircut (and on occasion a trim for myself). Went in today and the ladies that I usually come to weren't in. I didn't have to wait long, sat in the chair and the person cutting my hair asked what I would like. With the haircut in progress (clippers already at work) I can already hear that she is using clippers which aren't getting properly maintained as they should. Immediately after I recognize the scary sound of unkempt clippers, the clippers start binding and pulling my hair. A good barber or hairstylist would've stopped, at least made an attempt to adjust and re-clean the blades, apologize and then continue. Not this lady. She just kept on going snagging my hair in the clippers multiple times. As she reads the discontent on my face, I begin to look at her work station and everything is cover in hair clippings from what looks like every customer she's seen over the past two weeks. I then look at the two plastic containers full of brushes and combs located at the bottom of the mirror. I see that one is labeled dirty and the other is labeled clean. Looking at the container labeled "CLEAN", where she pulled the comb from, which at the moment is be used on my head and I see that it too is filled with hair from previous customers. Cleanliness: Fail Customer Service: Yikes Price: Fair I wouldn't come back to this barber/butcher/ hairstylist if the price was free. read more

I really enjoyed coming to Red Comb Salon for years specially getting my haircut and color with Alma. So sad that she doesn't work there anymore. Does anybody know when she's working now? Please let me know. Thank you read more

I have taken my 4 year old son here a couple of times and been very pleased. Leslye does a great job. She is quick and super great with my little man. We will definitely keep coming back! read more

Alma is such a sweet lady. She was able to cut how I wanted it, with mid fade and trim/ style my thick asian hair. It's first come first serve here. She'll get you in and out with a clean cut. read more

I was looking for a place that was open late because i got tied up running errands all day. The only place I could find open was Red Comb Salon. I am happy I stumbled upon this place. Alma welcomed me and sat me down in her chair. She was so sweet and kind and cut my hair the exact way I wanted. She found a new regular. I have been hopping around from salon to salon not particularly happy with the last haircut. I am happy now. Thanks Alma. See you in two weeks. read more

I got a haircut and wanted a fade. She messed up my hair by making it look like a giant decided to come up to me and bit a piece of my hair. She's also very arrogant. 1 star. read more

I came in on September 13,2021 around 6pm for a hair trim with Alma but she wasn't in for that day. So I settled to the hair dresser named LESLIE. Before the nightmare happened, I showed her a photo of the hairstyle that I wanted to be done, and instructed her that I'd like to keep my hair length and if possible just to cut 2inches of my hair, but she is too busy cutting me off and acting she knew what I want, she kept on yanking the capesalon that she put around my neck. In about 15minutes she was done, she chopped 4-5 inches of my hair. My hair was all the way to my "lower back waist" and it end up around my "bra line/mid back". I was upset and wanted to cry. Because it took me months to grow my hair to have that length. I asked her what she have done to my hair? Why'd she cut it really short and out of style? SHE DENIED THAT SHE MESSED UP MY HAIR ! SHE OFFERED TO CUT MORE BUT I REFUSED! She was being cocky, rude and NON APOLOGETIC for her mistake!!!  I wasn't happy with the service and the behavior of your employee. I'M hoping that she'll get a disciplinary action. What she did was unacceptable!!! I'm very disappointed. If I could give her a zero star. I will do it !!!! P.S  I can also post my before and after photo for a proof!!!! read more

I LITERALLY LOVE ALMA I got my first haircut since late 2020 and I was kinda nervous because i don't like people touching my hair. But Alma was amazing, she cut my hair perfectly and I feel so much more confident. Alma is so slay read more

The stylist was extremely friendly but when a customer specifically says "no more than 2 inches off the length" you mean it. Unfortunately 14 inches...yes 14 inches...was cut off my length. I also asked for a specific cut by name and it's nowhere close. Every cut that I watched her make was an inch to 2 inches. I was absolutely shocked when I walked out. I've been to this salon many times. And I've never been so disappointed with a salon. 14 inches. My hair barely reaches the top of my bra strap now. When I walked in...it was below my waist and almost long enough to sit on. read more

I went yesterday afternoon and was a good time. Was no wait at all. I got a trim of the back of my hair which was long & split ends and Elena did a great job! She also trimmed my bangs and she did them perfectly. She was the sweetest lady and I appreciate her so much. Will definitely be going back soon. read more

Worst haircut experience in my life. Lady with the tattoo was really rude and unprofessional. She cut my hair in less than 2 minutes and messed up my hair. read more

Place is garbage! Lousy customer service. My father and his grandkids went twice to this goofy place and the barber told them "I'm the only one working " overwhelmed I guess. So they go back another week and she says the same damn thing. Fk this place. Gotta be a racist, or just straight up lazy. Don't do the job if you can't handle it. Find another profession. Idc if the if you married to a " black". That don't make a difference. So is the color of my belt from Wal Mart. read more

Tried to get a haircut on a weekend. Only 1 employee working! On a weekend. Waiting room was full. Had to leave both times.

been here many times with my kids , it would get a 5 star for the staff and quick efficient haircuts at a reasonable price However , I knocked off 3 stars due to the owner , she actually walked up behind my kid while he was getting a haircut and started to criticize his choice of haircut , when I loudly protested her saying this to my kid and explained it isn't helpful to make him self conscious while in the middle of his haircut {not like we can glue it back on } she just kept saying it over and over ? WTF IS WRONG WITH THAT LADY BIT OF ADVICE , DONT HAVE SOMETHING NICE TO SAY THEN DON'T SAY ANYTHING ESPECIALLY iF THE CUSTOMER IS ASKING YOU TO STOP !!!!!! that lady should be in a different business or at least just stay home , not sure if I want to go back , which is to bad , I've been there over 10 times but now knowing she is the owner with an attitude and willing to critique a child and her staff and the parent !!!!! my kid always gets the same cut , but this is the first time he went home sad and self conscious about how he looks , he is only 6 and never before has it occurred to him to be self conscious until the owner stood behind him and gasped and kept critiquing his choice of haircut . I am still very upset about this , what entitlement she had especially after I tried to tell her to mind her own business as nicely as I could , and still she was oblivious its like she wants her business to fail ? again this is not about the lady's who cut hair since they have always been great but this is about the owner who cant take a hint or apologize read more

Came in on a Sunday morning with my two little boys and Leslie took great care of us and gave my children excellent cuts! Our timing was perfect, there was no line and we were in and out in 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend this salon. read more

The blonde lady was rude AF. I used to have long, healthy hair and she butchered it really short to the point I almost look bald - I even specify that I wanted an undercut, but I couldn't even style it because it was so dang short like a military cut. I couldn't even see the progress because she didn't want my glasses on. She didn't ask questions how I'd like certain part of my hair done at all and she don't even care. Should've stayed closed, period. So disappointed and now I'm going to look silly at my new job. If you're a guy, don't come here at all!!! read more

I was so sad when hair clique initially closed but thanks to Leslie and her family they reopened! My wife and I are once again very happy to bring back our kids to her. We were in and out in 25 minutes and the price was quite reasonable. read more

Tita cut my hair on my first visit there and she was great. Unfortunately, she was busy this time so I asked the blond lady to cut it. Didn't quite like how it was cut and today, 3 weeks later, when I went to another salon, this stylist showed me the butchering I rec'd. Lopsided and uneven. It was terrible. Had to cut it very short to even it out . You have been warned. Maybe she's better with other hair styles, but a simple layered cut for men is NOT her forte!! read more
