My 89 year old mother likes getting her hair cut at Great clips . We were at the FM 306 location and they were very busy and an hour wait. If you go to their website you can sign in and this allows you to get in line before you arrive .I had forgotten to go to the website to sign in,so we had to wait. I looked up wait times for hwy 46 Great Clips location and they did not have a wait. Since we could get to the other location , We decided to go there instead of waiting. Bea was the hairdresser. She did a great job and was very kind to my mother. They told me that the best time to come is Monday through Friday from like 2:30 to 3:30 so this is good to know for next time. read more

My 2.5 year old son walked in with huge smile on his face for his first haircut and said hi to the hair stylist. She ignored him and then told us he wasn't going to sit for the haircut we wanted. She was extremely dismissive and even when my husband tried to tell her it was his first salon haircut she was cold and unwelcoming. This is a good salon. I drive 5 miles to get my hair cut when I have a great clips a half a mile from me. I also pass about 5 hair cutting places to go here. They always have plenty of hair cutters. They are friendly and actually listen to how you want your hair cut. I am new in Texas and this is my preferred place to go. read more

SLOW & RUDE This place is horrible. Checked in online on 5/29/18 @ 6:01PM said it was a 25 min wait. Made it to the location at 6:05PM. Was not greeted nobody looked up so I sat down. Saw my name on the sign in screen was 5th person down. I sat down and started counting everyone being called ahead of me. Waited till my 25 min wait was over. Looked up at the screen still had 2 people a head of me. Waited some more. By this time I was just waiting for my name to be called. 50 mins later I checked the screen it said I was next. Sat down and 2 seconds after I sit down they call the next name. It wasnt mine! I looked at the lady asking why I was skipped. She looked at me with attitude and said "You have to make sure you check in with us before you sit down next time. You'll be next after this gentlemen." My blood was boiling it still is! I left in disbelief. I get my hair cut every 3 weeks and usually take my 3 boy's for hair cuts to this location. Thats 17 hair cuts per year / per person. Thats almost 1k of my hard earned money dropped at this place a year not to mention how much I tip. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

The stylist decided to do what she wanted with my hair and not what I asked. Instead of creating a new layer she was absolutely snotty saying, "if I do a new layer I'll have to blend it all." I didn't understand why she gave me attitude I'm a paying customer and this is what I asked for. I wanted to get up and leave, but thought maybe MAYBE she would know what she is doing. Nope. She "refreshed my layers" in about 10minutes, mind you I have hair down to my butt, and was like there you go. If there had been a time concern I should have been informed. My daughter got a haircut today. Carlos was AMAZING. I would give him a 5 star review. Too bad the lady at the front desk was so mean and unprofessional when we were checking out. This is my go-to place to get a haircut. My family and I been going here for over 3 years and I have never been disappointed by Susie or Maria. I've tried other Great Clips both at Creekside and one in San Marcos and they absolutely botched it, so I came here within a few days and they fixed it free of charge. Here I can always count on them to get want I want right. In fact I often just give general instructions for what I want and let them take over on how to do it because of how wonderful their ideas turn out. For hair places like Great Clips you need to know who to ask for but most everyone I've encountered at this location has done a good job. Maria and especially Susie are the ones I always go to, and I consider Susie a friend at this point, because of how sweet and warm she is. Highly recommend them. read more

Very disappointed. I can't believe they allow people to cut hair there that are going to do what she did to me. How do they treat customers like this and stay in business? It is one of, if not the worst haircut that I've ever had. She took way too much off of the back right. The back left is a handful of hair still it's a wad of hair. The right front is way too short. Like dumb and dumber but only on the right side. The cuts are big a taken in swathes. I told her not too much. But she didn't listen. Nor did she even try to even it out. There was not a wait. I went in the middle of the afternoon. There were other hair stylists waiting for customers. She took me right away. The cut could not have taken 5 minutes tops. She rushed me in and rushed me out. Why? When I called back to complain I asked if there was a time limit that they had for each customer. That's what it felt like. I didn't realize how bad it was until I had left. She did a comb over in back to hide the worst of the damage. Plus, I just really didn't think someone would do this. There wasn't a review for this location so I am writing one. I looked for a review before I went there. Had I found someone that had a bad experience like I did then I would not have gone. My hair is ruined, until it grows back. I could go get it cut again but it would be way too short. I called and talked to two different people. An assistant manager called and left a message. She asked me to come back in and they would "fix it". They offered to refund my money also. Of the two people that I talked to and the one that left a message, none of them seemed at all apologetic. I'm sure that there are some very nice people that work there. I hope they find another place to work where people actually care about their customer's satisfaction. read more

Every time I get a cut at this location, majority of the every cut is flawless. There was only one incident where I thought they could've done better with my daughters hair, otherwise, they give great fades with very little time wasted. Signed in online only to be told they took me off the list, since I wasnt there in 20 minutes. Most locations I go to in my home city give you an hour or more but was in town visiting my wife whos been working in the area.. The girl was not helpful and unprofessional (giving me an annoyed look) and was gonna make me wait dead last. I told her this was not my error and this needs to be fixed. Especially if you cant help your staying 30 minutes away and thus this is the closest location then having to deal with traffic. Bad customer service and no going beyond helping a customer who followed the system but got booted off. Called corporate and got a call back from management, they were apologetic after the fact I complained but made a point I would not go back there ever. Do not recommend and if they want to only give customers 20 minutes, then they should have their technical support list it on the app to warn the customers before they commit to the drive. read more
