LILY WAS AWESOME! I got a deep conditioning treatment and a haircut. Lily listened to what I wanted and she did an awesome job. The wig was purchased in San Antonio and I felt it was too dark and just too heavy - really just looked like an awkward wig on my head. I made an appointment with Diane and she was able to cut and style the wig on my head. Her magic hands transformed the wig and I felt comfortable wearing it. It became my "hair" and I no longer felt that everyone knew I was wearing a wig. She asks questions regarding your goal and works with you at each step. I ended up purchasing another wig from her and she took the time to show me additional ways to style that one as well. This was one of the best experiences I've had on my journey to recovery. My main issue is with the stylist i've seen both times. The first time was a great hair cut especially since i was desperate and it was to make sure i dont look overgrown/ unprofessional at my work. I've been getting my hair done from someone else for my whole life, and the stylist doing my cut here, was in my opinion working with a good base since i was only a couple weeks overdue for my normal hair cut time. So the first hair cut was my normal standard and enjoyed some of the different techniques and textures from this first experience, something to note was the stylist needed help with staying on time and had someone wash my hair for her, keep that in mind. This last time i went i was way more grown out from the last time i came in, i waited 8-9 weeks and my hair grows very fast, like 2 inches in 9 weeks fast. Like the first time, someone had to help her with getting me washed up for the hair cut, both ladys were nice but it felt weird that i was on time (early infact) where as she was still putting color in another lady's hair when the hand me in the chair and i was finished with the wash. That may be industry standard to some but i wasnt a fan of that. Then when she came to cut my hair, i told her what i wanted and somewhat delivered? The hair cut is uneven, some parts didnt get cut or shaved off (i have shaved sides) and i weirdly long part of my bangs that should've been addressed in the appointment but i didnt notice all the parts that needed to be done till i got home when i was able to get a really good look. I had to even shave off a chunck of hair by my left temple because it looked off with it there and was not shaved down properly. Overall i enjoyed the experience of going there and the way everyone is friendly but not the result i was hoping for honestly. I will be going back to my other stylist for my next hair cut so she can fix the uneven hair cut and I'm thankful she is available again. I recommend them overall but definitely make sure you like your haircut before you leave or you might end up uneven depending on the stylist.

I hate to be "that person" who writes a negative review but felt compelled to do so in order to…read morewarn others after my horrible experience at Indulge Vanity Salon. Prior to booking an appointment, based on previous positive reviews (are these even legitimate reviews or did the owner's friends write them?), I was confident that this place would do a good job with my hair and makeup for my sister-in-law's wedding. I was scheduled for two hours with Reagin to do my hair and makeup. She was 40 minutes late since she was finishing up on another client. No big deal, however, she did my hair AND makeup in under 45 minutes. How is that possible? Well, let me tell you about my sordid tale. First, the hair: I opted for an updo which did look nice, however, after I left the salon part of the updo started to fall down (she only used hairspray, no other hair products, and definitely did not use enough bobby pins to secure my hair). Now, the makeup, if you can even call it that! I showed Reagin a photo of a soft, romantic look of what I wanted. When she pulled out the cheap e.l.f. brand makeup I knew this would not forbode well for me. Since she is considered a "professional/experienced makeup artist," I was hoping the final makeup look would turn out well, but that didn't happen. For special events where a lot of photos will be taken, you want a more dramatic look. Unfortunately, she did not enhance my eyebrows, did not use eyeliner, skimped on the mascara, and did not have false eyelashes available. Also, my eyeshadow was applied unevenly. She did an atrocious job with applying foundation which did not blend into my jawline, as well as her attempt to "contouring" made me look like I was wearing war paint. Oh, and let's not forget the cheap, garish lipstick that she crookedly applied on me. Bottom line: it looked like a drunk toddler did my makeup! I am no makeup expert but I could have saved myself $55 and do my own makeup better. As proof, I am including a photo of what I looked like right before I left the place. When my husband came to pick me up, before I could even say a word, he jolted in shock and asked why I was orange. This "salon" is a joke. You have been warned. As for the aftermath, I was fortunate to have four hours prior to the wedding and immediately headed over to Ulta at Creekside Crossing to have my hair and makeup corrected. (Jennifer was a true Godsend since she is professionally trained by Lancome and re-did my entire makeup correctly. Thank you, Jennifer and Ulta!)
