I had been to that location long before Premier Cuts bought the old hair salon. I have received good service. I was sad that they no longer give veteran discounts and only give them to seniors on certain days. It's sad that a company can't provide a 10% discount to seniors, first responders, and Veterans. This is a hidden gem in our growing town. I needed a simple haircut, just taking inches off of the bottom. As most women know, even simple, easy hair cuts can be a pain & incredibly expensive. I asked the front desk associate upon arrival if they were able to perform the hair cut I was asking for. She assured me that it could be none with no problem. As I approached the very nice lady who cut my hair, I asked her if she felt comfortable doing what I was asking for. She replied "I got you". Well unfortunately, she did not. I was asking for a medium fade with taper in the back, a hard part with a comb over. My advice would be to not take on a cut you're not capable of doing. read more

We're not sure how this place would ever be called a "Salon" as there are NO sinks. My daughter went there yesterday hoping to get a cut, shampoo, and style. Initially we were caught off guard (in a good way) by the low prices ($12.xx for adults). However, when my wife asked if they could go ahead and blow dry our daughter's hair (although they couldn't shampoo, they did spray it wet with a bottle sprayer) the price was increased to $19.xx, so blow drying costs $7. Although that doesn't seem high in normal salons, it did when considering the initial cost. Overall, we can't recommend this place. read more

I love this salon! It is always so clean and everyone is so friendly. I usually get my haircut when I get my color done from a much more expensive salon. But thank goodness I walked in for a trim one day because I have gotten the best haircuts ever from here! I've had 3 different stylists and they all have been wonderful! Don't waste your time or money at this location. First off, it is by new HEB so don't follow directions from yelp. Next, the girl who cut my hair was all business and I didn't catch her name....because she didn't say. For the price you get what you pay for. Take a drive to the San Marcos location and see Diana or somewhere else. Girls here where not friendly and didn't seem to want to be there. I don't like cut. If you are looking to get a haircut you better come here several hours before they close. Because if you get there 45 mins before closing they will turn you away because "corporate says they can not stay passed 7pm." YEAH RIGHT!!! I have never been to a barbershop that turned away business. As long as you get there before they close, you got helped. This is very poor customer service. First off---I almost never write reviews--unless for outstanding service or complete incompetence! This warranted a speak out! AWFUL experience! Took my 11 year old son for a haircut. Stylist announced his name, and turned around and walked back to her chair with NO greeting or acknowledgement-expecting my son to follow. She then was the epitome of unfriendliness as she snapped at my son in regards to how he wanted his hair cut. I was soooooo close to saying we would just go elsewhere, as she was obviously not wanting to be there. We stayed, however, out of awkwardness, perhaps....She then proceeded to drench my son with water--water rolling down his face--think shower. She stated "I guess I drowned you, huh?" No towel or "oops, or I'm sorry"!! The finished product took MAYBE 5 minutes----and words just don't do justice!!!!! My older son-knowing none of the story-took one look at the haircut and proclaimed we needed to go have the cut fixed!!!!!!! (Mind you---this coming from a brother---you know it must be bad for him to even notice!!!!). Needless to say---we will NOT be going back!!!!!! Still in shock at the complete audacity and utter rudeness of this employee!!!!!! Great Clips is right down the way! read more
