My main issue is with the stylist i've seen both times. The first time was a great hair cut especially since i was desperate and it was to make sure i dont look overgrown/ unprofessional at my work. I've been getting my hair done from someone else for my whole life, and the stylist doing my cut here, was in my opinion working with a good base since i was only a couple weeks overdue for my normal hair cut time. So the first hair cut was my normal standard and enjoyed some of the different techniques and textures from this first experience, something to note was the stylist needed help with staying on time and had someone wash my hair for her, keep that in mind. This last time i went i was way more grown out from the last time i came in, i waited 8-9 weeks and my hair grows very fast, like 2 inches in 9 weeks fast. Like the first time, someone had to help her with getting me washed up for the hair cut, both ladys were nice but it felt weird that i was on time (early infact) where as she was still putting color in another lady's hair when the hand me in the chair and i was finished with the wash. That may be industry standard to some but i wasnt a fan of that. Then when she came to cut my hair, i told her what i wanted and somewhat delivered? The hair cut is uneven, some parts didnt get cut or shaved off (i have shaved sides) and i weirdly long part of my bangs that should've been addressed in the appointment but i didnt notice all the parts that needed to be done till i got home when i was able to get a really good look. I had to even shave off a chunck of hair by my left temple because it looked off with it there and was not shaved down properly. Overall i enjoyed the experience of going there and the way everyone is friendly but not the result i was hoping for honestly. I will be going back to my other stylist for my next hair cut so she can fix the uneven hair cut and I'm thankful she is available again. I recommend them overall but definitely make sure you like your haircut before you leave or you might end up uneven depending on the stylist.

I completed a nearby transaction and obtained some cash. Then i walked over to a business I've been wanting to visit for years (Blitzkreig Games *sp)... but they were closed. I was shielded from the wind and enjoying the warmth of the sun... I noticed the chairs outside of the salon but I also noticed they were "props". (They want to give the illusion they are "inviting" but i found them to be anything but!) I had a low battery and no wifi, so i called a friend who gave me Rio's phone number. I'm a 56 year old woman who hasn't dyed my hair since covid... so when i saw a customer come out side to her car to get something, i thought hmmm, I've got a head full of gray hairs, maybe I should dye my hair like my friends have recently (vibrant colors). I never once thought i would be in their way of conducting business... i called Rio to get me and gave the address of the Blitz Games place. They told me they were booked solid and to call back... I did. When i called back several minutes later, the police came and he was really nice and i was more than glad to tell him anything he wanted to know. (I was stunned too... I'm already insecure as hell emotionally due to trauma. Would it have been too much trouble to get an employee to ask me to sit elsewhere or to ask if i needed anything? I would have easily gone back to the other side of the building where i had conducted business already...) Anyway, long story short, use my negative experience to learn about the type of people who work there. Most hair salons have very positive, happy people there who are good with people. I saw two young teen girls throw out some drinks in the trash. I wasn't close to them. Maybe 20 feet or so, but it only takes a little friendliness to just look at someone and say, "hi, how are you?! We're just wondering if you are going to come inside to the salon since our windows say "walkins welcome" or if you need help?" Anything along that line, would have been very accommodating. I wouldn't have cared if it was rude. It could have been, "This area is reserved for the hair salon since Blitz is closed till 2pm..." I get it. Whatever. I just think it was cold to call the cops on me for waiting on a Rio. I didn't think I was scaring away your customers... and next time I'm there, I'll be sure to avoid your area.. because I'll be doing business with Blitz in the near future.

Well, she took me over to the sink made sure my hair was sopping wet put a towel on it and then put on the solution. Then put me on the dryer After the developer and my hair was somewhat curly. It looked nice for day. So next morning my hair was straight. I called and told her. She said did you brush it. It's not my first rodeo. I have had perms before and I told her again my hair has to be dry before you put the solution on. She goes well don't you remember I put a towel on your head, I have straight hair a little bit of fry on top. Nothing on theends. She said she could redo it in two weeks, but I may have to get my haircut short of course I have to pay for the haircut. Hell to the no! I will not go back there and then have her fry my hair. I'm out $200. I am going to go pay somebody else that knows what they are doing. Do not go to this place unless you wanna hear a lot of gossip, and have your hair looking bad.
