At the beginning of the…read moreappointment, during the consultation, my aunt Darlene, showed the stylist the color she wanted and then the cut style. At the beginning, Darlene felt that Meg did not understand. She should have stopped there! But meg insisted she new what she wanted. Fast forward 2 hours, Darlene was presented her new cut and color. It was NOT what was discussed or agreed too. Now, my aunt is old school and refused to pay. The police where called. My aunt stayed in the parking lot to wait for police. Once police arrived the matter was settled and my aunt paid the bill. Now, for the dirty details. First, when my aunt paid, Meg, inflated the prices originally quoted. She took it upon herself to put a tip into the price. A very nice tip, mind you for a cut and color she knew the customer was not happy with! Now for the cut, it is a hot mess! I have pictures attached for how messed up the cut is! One side is clearly completely off in angle and no symmetry what so ever!!! Also, the length is way more than what was discussed. Meg cut a good 3 inches off. Now for The color, I personally like the color job she did. However, it is not the depth of color my aunt wanted. She wanted visible color variation of platinum blond and browns. As you can see in the pic it is not a dramatic color variation at all. All in all, Meg did not listen to her client! She was combative and defensive! She obviously has had issues with clients before. I would not recommend this stylist or salon. They have no respect for there clients well being. They have no respect for the profession they chose. Don't be a stylist if you can't deal with the clients!

Asked questions and remembered the answers. Was very uplifting and positive and gave me such a confidence boost - after several bad experiences elsewhere, she helped me get my mojo back! She added highlights instead of the all-over color I thought I needed because it got the job done and would require less maintenance, and was able to find the perfect shape and style of my hair beyond the hatchet job I'd gotten previously. All I wanted was some semblance of normal, and she gave me perfection! I may have floated out of the salon! Lavish was super easy to find, very modern and comfortable. This place is neat and clean and a lot nicer than my old salon! Everyone is super friendly and the place is busy! Kim is so sweet and awesome; she is thorough and takes her time, but definitely not slow! She listens to you and pays attention to what you are saying and that is priceless. She is Vietnamese, and does have an accent, but I have never had any issues with a language barrier. She feels comfortable cutting my hair short, too, which many stylists do not. I like the short pixie styles although definitely don't want a boy's haircut. I like short and sassy yet feminine and Kim can do that! I always just text Kim for an appointment, but I'm sure you could call the salon and either talk to her or set an appointment with the receptionist. The prices are reasonable; very reasonable actually. I think each stylist sets her own price, and I just pay Kim at the chair. She takes checks and cash, but not sure about credit cards (trying to not use the plastic this year). I am really happy that Kim moved to this place; it's nice and clean and seems very down to earth and not pretentious (I'm a pretty non nonsense down to earth kinda gal). I went there and saw four different…read morepeople the first one cut my hair uneven the second one cut my hair with unwanted layers and the third one an older woman with the red hair V gouged my hair that was down to my waist causing a re-cut by another salon 4 inches off Lisa the haughty woman at the front is rude, very judgmental if you don't agree to the upgrade. I do not believe the other positive reviews are real I would not recommend this place.
