I actually got a pretty good trim at this location of Great Clips this past weekend. I checked in and waited and someone came to the front and asked if I was waiting on a particular stylist and it caused a little confusion because when she asked another person said they were waiting on a particular stylist and I said first available. I started noticing people coming after me getting a haircut, so I asked and they said I had requested the stylist the other guy requested. I told them I think there was a mistake caused by confusion. They profusely apologized and took me back to the first stylist available. She was very apologetic as well and got to work on my nest. She did an excellent job listening and following through with the trim I wanted. Next time I need a trim I'll be visiting again. read more

Pretty terrible experience from Hannah. I knew my "drop fade" was going to be terrible as soon as she ran a number 1 up to the top and asked me if she was done. I think the lady that checked me in would have given a good haircut, but someone requested her as I was checking in. On to find a shop to fix this before work tomorrow... Update: thanks Veronica. We stopped by here for a last minute haircut for my significant other after I gave him a "bald spot" last time I cut his hair during quarantine. The stylist brought him to the back right away even though the check in screen initially showed a 17 minute wait time. He had an Asian stylist (not sure her name), but she was pretty detailed and did a good job. He was pretty happy with his haircut after. The individual stylists are always hit and miss at Great Clips, but he would definitely come back to see her again. read more

They always do a good job with my hair. I've heard that Asian cuts are hard, but I've had 4 stylists here at this location and they did just fine. Friendly staff too. The best part is their online check-in. You get to put your name in line before you get to the shop. The online check-in also lets you know how long the current wait will be. Your haircut receipt allows you to get a $9.99 haircut on your next visit usually within 4 weeks before it expires. However, expired receipts can still be used for $2 off haircuts. read more

I have been coming here for about a year now and I keep getting fantastic stylists~ this time Sara(h) and she helped me translate what I wanted. You see- I suck at maintenance and wait far too long between cuts. And I am a do-do when it comes to hair terminology- I want it short and cute. See- that doesn't really help anyone! lol. Anyway- she figured out what I wanted and set to the task and I enjoyed the convo in the meantime. Pets, doggies, and art.... sounds good to me! I confess my very first experience here was meh- but that particular lady hasn't been around. Everyone else is great, gentle (this is important to me) and quick! today my experince was horrible here , The stylist who messed up my hair was debra , she has no clue what she is doing ! she Doesn't even know how to do a fade !! She asked me if that all you want I was like yes, she showed one side of my head holding the mirror i went home and my family member said what is wrong with your haircut I was like I just got it , I had to drive all the way back to show her my uneven haircut she said ohh my bad sit here I am gonna fix it ! I would have sworn that I reviewed this place already, but I would have been wrong. This place is just plain bad. The prices are too high, and the staff is not very professional. The last time I was here, I came in for the $6 'side and back' trim (which is better than spending $14 on the whole enchilada). I was satisfied with the cut until I got to the register and was charged full price! Why? Because the stylist used trimmers instead of clippers (how is that my fault when I was explicit from the moment I walked in about what I wanted). I argued, but didn't want to cause I scene, so I paid and left. The time before that, I requested one haircut, and got a completely different one. Response from the stylist: oh well, sorry (hehehehe). Deplorable; and shame on me for giving them a second chance. Next time, I am going to the barber shop that is (literally) right behind this place and spending a little more money for a lot better of an outcome! read more

Walked in, there was no wait I gave them my info and was asked to sit down for a few minutes.... Puzzled I did thinking maybe they needed to clean or something. Nope it was purely so they could talk in the back and one lady was even doing her taxes. Once the lady started on my hair it was very quick she was also shouting personal info to the person in the back on the computer to do her taxes (SOOO UNPROFESSIONAL). I commented on the fact that it was really fast with the clippers, and the fact she might have missed a few hairs. Her immediate response was on no I didn't miss any..... Well in fact she missed a bunch. Then I asked her to take the thinning shears to the top to add texture and I have thick hair too. Her response.. Oh you don't need that besides they are dirty. My response was "if you wanted your weave one way you would ask correct? You would be annoyed if they said no, correct?" She just scoffed and said ok you're all done... I reluctantly paid and said I wasn't very happy with my service. I went to the barber shop around the corner. They finished the job free of charge and said come to them next time save my self some hassle. Needless to say I will not be back and would recommend the same to others. read more

Courtney was great! She cut both mine and my son's hairs and both came out great. She was very patient with my "pickiness" as my wife calls it and she made sure to listen to what we wanted and asked questions and informed me about how different folks prefer certain parts of the haircut but obliged when I requested further detail or trimming. Dude!! Do not do it to your self! Had my hair cut there, the shop is old, smells like a cheep motel room, and the management doesn't care about their clients. The last two haircuts there have been the worst experiences ever! They can't keep good stylist and you can't make an appointment with one if you like them. You are at the mercy of random selection. I just moved to the area and was able to find this location easily. I was surprised that they had my notes stored from the other location. The check in app was helpful too. The place not so busy when I arrived but it did pick up when I left. My hair stylist was Roxanne, made me feel very relaxed and easy to talk to about my hair. Overall, the whole atmosphere in the building was relaxed and clean. I will definitely will back at this location. read more

Very unprofessional and rude. This was the second time they charged my husband for a full price after giving them the coupon, and try to brush it off saying it's not a big deal. I don't know her name but the lady is african-american with a very short hair, don't go with her! When I complained, the first thing she said was "is this a power thing?" what the heck is that!? I should say that I almost never leave reviews, and I don't think I've ever left a bad one. But I had such a bad experience here that I needed to warn others. The staff at this location was so unbelievably rude to my family and me. They spoke very harshly to my kids and actually kept reprimanding them, but the kids were honestly not doing anything except occasionally getting out of their chairs in the waiting area -- not walking around, touching stuff, or anything. They weren't even talking. Then the stylist asked if I wanted my son's hair cut using the old instructions on record from a past location we used to go to, and I said no. I explained that he has it cut differently now and gave them clear directions. But when he was done, I could see that they very obviously had just used those same old instructions. I felt obligated to leave a tip, but I really shouldn't have. We'll definitely not be going back. read more

I checked in on line but got there early. I wanted to see what they could do before my turn since I had never been there before. I was greeted with a smile as soon as I walked in the door. This location is clean and has a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone was really friendly. There was a TV to watch (the Olympics were on) so wait time went quickly. Ask for Tangena. She's really good. Gave me exactly what I asked for and it didn't take long at all! She's an artist and knows how to cut hair and what will look good on you. I didn't get the other stylist's name but I watched her and she did a great job on three people in short order. If you're like me and just want a great cut that doesn't take all day to do for a reasonable price, this place delivers. Give them a try!
