I came here for a quick haircut mid week. The place was relatively empty with three barbers waiting to cut hair. As a walk in, one came to quickly cut my hair. I was looking for a shorter cut, which is relatively easy to do. While she was cutting my hair it went relatively smoothly and quick (I.e. under 30 minutes). The barber finished my haircut and didn't show me the back or ask me if I thought it looked good or needed any adjustments. I thought nothing of it until I got home and my wife told me that the back of my head was cut EXTREMELY uneven. I will not be going back to fix it and will be going to another barber shop to hopefully fix the haircut. I highly recommend going elsewhere for your haircut. read more

Another bad experience at this location. Only Great Clips I've been to with no monitor to show you who's up next. Despite receiving a text saying I was next, they took another guy in front of me only because he walked in just before I did. Not the end of the world. But I could then see who was finishing up next and would therefore be cutting my hair and I've had a couple of bad haircuts from that person and didn't want another one. The place seems poorly run and when one of the three stylists isn't very good, it's not worth the drive down there. I'm done. read more

This was my second visit and wouldn't recommend. I only decided to give them another shot, as the price was right, but I ran into the same problem as the last time, but with a different hairdresser. I had to fix the job that she did at home. Anna was as nice as could be, but I had to snip all of the stragglers just like the first lady (can't remember her name, but she was older with blond hair). And in one place, I had to snip a larger portion of hair, thank goodness that I didn't massacre things! Pity, Anna was very nice, but I won't be returning. From here on in, I will spend more to try to ensure a good cut. You really do get what you pay for. read more

It's been difficult to say the least to find someone who can cut my hair properly. My brother uses Great Clips and recommended them. I did a search and found most locations had a 1 or 2 stars with bad reviews. The Hollywood store had some good reviews. So I decided to take a chance there. Met with Sheila who was given a great review she was super nice and friendly. Made me feel welcome and gave me what I would consider a Perfect Cut! Finally someone with experience who knew how to cut my hair. Sheryl Is AMAZING!!!! As a pregnant first time new mom to be I had neglected my hair for the last few months when morning sickness took over, But now I desperately needed a fresh new look for my Gender Reveal and I was stressed out about where to go and maintenance. I was nervous that no one at great clips would be able to perform on my hair type but Sheryl was My hair guardian angel!! She took me from no style frayed ends to beautiful bouncy healthy hair with an amazing blunt cut bob that I dreamt of. I got a wash/blow dry/style and cut and was in and out in almost no time compared to the wait at a typical neighborhood hair salon. also while there I got to notice the work of another stylist and she did amazing work also! five star service will be returning, Sheryl will definitely be my new stylist!! My hair is pretty easy to cut, and I've been getting my hair cut like everyone else all my life. I have been to many great clips and thought this one would be no different... I was wrong... My hair which usually take all of 15 minutes tops to cut took over an hour... The guy who cut my hair really didn't know what he was doing, and for a simple haircut like mine, that was concerning. I could tell by how nervous he was that he wasn't sure what he was doing. On top of that, the manager knew he didn't know what he was doing and didn't say a word... She looked at me and I could tell that she knew what was going on and said nothing. I let the guy finished cutting my hair, he really didn't cut hardly any hair off the top... whatever... I just wanted to get out of there... One thing I'll say about great clips in general over the years is when they ask you the customer how you cut your hair, you tell them all the same thing but somehow each person interprets what you say differently... For example, I say a one with a fade and somehow every person who cuts my hair interprets that different... not sure how you do that but... it's frustrating... read more

I am not happy at all with my experience there today. I walked in with a coupon for $7.99. I showed them the coupon when I walked in on my phone and asked if it was OK. They looked at it and said yes, that they would put it in when I paid. I proceeded to get both of my kids a hair cut. When I went to pay the manager told me I could not use the coupon and had to pay full price. If I hadn't showed them the coupon before the haircut I would understand but I showed it to them and they verified it. Walked in for a blowdry... shampoo was done really bad didn't even wash the back Bottom of my head, the stylist smelled HORRIBLE! I should've gotten up at that moment and left, but I stayed and gave him the benefit of the doubt... man I was right from the start he took over 2 hours and my hair is SHORT! Ok for short haircuts that can't be messed up bad. Not a real barber shop that take care to do the job right but are mediocre haircut outlet barbers. I had to ask for the back neck hair to be cut yet they still didn't cut it all the way down to shoulders, and I was in a t-shirt. Have taken my son here a few times already, it's a hit & miss depending on who cuts his hair. The problem is the stylists I liked don't have a set schedule on when they're working so when we go, it's usually 1st available. Not sure if setting an appointment online would make a difference. Ok so I have been to this place before. The first thing they do is start asking for your info which I dont like giving! So the kid puts in my number an old one I might add and he cant find me. So he wants my info all over again in order to get a haircut! How ridiculous is that that they need my info to cut my damn hair!! I wasnt aware business was so good right now that you could refuse to cut hair without my info!! Not a very good business plan at all! What in the hell has this world come to!! NEWS FLASH you dont need my phone# or name for that matter to cut my hair!!! Needless to say I turned around and walked out and they didnt care a bit! The stylist was polite and friendly and there was no wait - no one was there. The stylist saved me some money by eliminating the blow dry. I didn't get the cut that I asked for however, it seems that she cut the hair in the style that she preferred, or that she did not listen to me. When she was done, I indicated that it was too short but she suggested that this hair style is one that preferred by a certain celebrity. I didn't care for the celebrity or her hairstyle. I told the stylist that I wanted to keep my hair long with long layers and long bangs. What I got was a much shorter cut with short and choppy layers. Very disappointed. Took me a long time to grow out my hair and now I have to start all over again. It's not that it's a bad style - just didn't want or like the one I got for me. Since there's nothing I can do now but wait until this high maintenance style grows out, my suggestion is to go to the stylist you know well. I will never come back to this place again. read more

I had the misfortune of going there when Francisco was the only person on duty. He did not listen to what I asked for and took the shaver and cut off my sideburns. The #4 shaver that he used was only supposed to be used on my back neck. By now there was no going back. I yelled at him and he responded by yelling back that that is what was written on the previous visit information. I said #4 in the back neck, not my sides. And that he did not LISTEN. He immediately picked up the paper, tried to show me and then crumpled it up and threw it back by the mirror. He started to undo my cape and told me to come back next day when the manager was there. This is how a customer oriented service is to be provided? Plus he sits on a stool. I have never seen in all my 75 years a hair salon person sit on a stool. He never tried to say he was sorry, or try to tell me he would try to fix it (which there was no way to do). I left highly upset. I did go back the next day and explained what had happened. They agreed that it looked terrible and what could they do to keep me as a customer. I asked if they could fix it. They said absolutely. Mandi took care of me. She gave me a free haircut, washed my hair and trimmed it properly to try and cover up (which there was actually no way to do) and blend it the best she could. I thanked her for her help and consideration. I explained that I had been in the shop after it first opened, purchased the cards on sale at the time and as I was a snowbird also patronized Great Clips in Cleveland, Ohio at the Westpark/Kamms Corners location.
